Peppercorn squid is lovely. Nice rice and chicken curry and spring rolls. Chicken balls can be hit and miss

Soup was hot , sushi freshly prepared .

the food was barely passable. the prawns and dumplings were only just cooked and soggy... and the chicken wasn't carved in the right direction so was really chewy. soggy crackers. worst food from here I a while

I love the crispy chilli beef- not too sweet and their chilli pepper squid. The sushi rice is a bit too sticky for me but overall it’s good. The prawn yakisoba is also delicious

Sweet n sour chicken, beef in black been sauce, pepper corn prawns was absolutely delicious, spring rolls could have been abit more crispier but overall really nice food.

food temperature was lower than expected, spring rolls arrived at a core temp of 42deg, grilled beef seemed to have been deep fried and had a core temperature of 43 degrees, legal holding / safe temp is 63 degrees, I microwaved before eating to avoid adverse reactions, this reduced the quality.

On time, hot and delicious as always !

Had the Chicken Katsu Bento box and Spicy Salmon Sushi for dinner. Was very generous in size and delicious. Thank you for the great food and service. Dined in and enjoyed!

we ordered two different rahmen, chicken was bland and unseasoned. the soup it's self was bland. had to add our own seasoning. chicken teriyaki only had a tea spoon or less of teriyaki sauce on. overall not great and disappointing.

Quality good but all was barely warm and had to be microwaved before eating.

sweet & sour spare ribs were ok but did not resemble ribs, round cuts of gristle with little meat, I struggle to think of what part of animal it came from, almost like cuts from tail of young pig, not worth the £7.50

I’ve been to toko diner many years ago with my children (2only). And went again recently and the lady remembered us! Abd I introduced my further two children. and I remembered her son. She’s such a lovely lady…as is her son (well he’s a lovely young MAN now and great waiter). Service and atmosphere was great as we were the only sit in customers there. Time to get food was good. The food itself was amazing! Tasty, natural, hot and impressive portions. The ramen soup was so big my son took the rest home. Seems a lot of people do takeaway (as they were busy with takeaway orders) but I feel people are missing out by not dining in here. It’s so lovely. Also had Chinese music playing. Love it!

Went out for a birthday dinner with some friends, my first time there, friendly service.

Sushi was not fresh. Tuna and prawn was inedible. The chilli peppercorn ribs were very good

The cucumber maki was great but the rice was dry and the spring rolls were too oily.

Not bad my usual was closed as was a Monday. Everything was quite nice hot and tasty . I would have liked a bit more lemon sauce with my chicken but apart from that all good .

We have had nice meals from the kitchen before. So I think this is a 1 off. All the food was fine but The crackers were stale.

Dreadful Noodles. Horrendous taste and aftertaste of soap. Send evidence to just eat too and zero help. Avoid both this horrendous place and just eat too

Average Chinese food. Unfortunately the service was poor. The waiters would keep saying no if you order the same dish twice at the same time. We had booked a table for 14 but notified the restaurant 2 would come a little late. When the had arrived, they had not ordered anything at all but ate from the food already on the table. They then got charged for 2 meals even though they did not order from there. Very disappointing 👎🏾

The delivery driver was lovely. Food was 30 minutes late but it was disgusting! The crab rolls had no crab, they just tasted of salty rice and the Thai green curry was made with what I assume was water, not coconut milk. It han not flavour and just s little spice so with the rice, it just tasted like watery chilli rice. The spring rolls were OK big just tasted like a shop bought spring roll, nothing special. My mum hated the peking ribs but just said she hated the sauce so someone else might like them, I don't know. All in all we paid £30 for something we barely ate half of.

The food was awful chicken balls were overcooked burnt, Singapore rice was like they just added curry powder and mixed it up then to top it off the delivery driver tried to shortchange me by handing me the change in a money bag and then said he didn’t have it you can have off next (I won't be ordering from them again!)

This was a bit of a let-down. I've been using Toko for years. The gyoza was overcooked and dry as a result. The sweet and sour was, well, sweet. I hope this is a one-off aberration.

The food arrived 30 minutes after I was told it was on its way, it was stone cold by the time it arrived and in turn all the food was soggy. Have ordered so many times from Toko and I never order from any other Chinese restaurant. But we are so disappointed with the quality of the food and delivery time and even more so that it was so cold and soggy that neither me nor my partner could eat the food.

Such a shame we have ordered from here many times before this time was a real let down. The squid was tough the sushi wasnt fresh, i suspect it was yesterdays and the salmon sashmi was literally inedible we had to throw it away it was part cooked i have no idea how but it was revolting. The only thing i enjoyed was the satay chicken

This is a gem of a venue for dinner! Fantastic service when I recently dined in and previously, prompt and well packaged takeaway/delivery. I'd highly recommend their starters and noodle mains! Great flavour, freshly cooked and the portion sizes are very generous! Dining in, Christina the waitress and the owner Lyn are very hospitable, welcoming and attentive. The restaurant has been there for quite some time and does a brisk service of deliveries. If you can, dine in and enjoy the food fresh from the kitchen. This really is my favourite Chinese restaurant in London!

the salmon sushi roll was so yummy and it had finely sliced ginger beside it, I am not a fan of ginger but that ginger was the best ginger I've eaten. It was so thin and like a refreshment in your mouth not too strong, the salmon hand roll is definitely worth it

Fantastic spring rolls, curry very oily and chicken had no texture, it was too smooth & had no bite to it to be real chicken . Possibly reconstituted? Didn't eat the curry, shame, I really wanted to like this food.

Yaki soba was missing egg and fish cake and only had three small prawns, it was mainly noodles and bean sprouts. The Vietnamese spring rolls were too salty.

Ordered delivery and it showed up an hour late. I could only have parts of it as I had to leave. But what I had wasn’t great. I’d stay away and order elsewhere. They claimed “he just left” when I called but then it was another 40 mins until it arrived. Ok sushi but nothing to write home about, and definitely not worth the ridiculous wait for it.

The cruspy seaweed taster like it had been fried in tainted or stale oil. It didn't taste as good as it usually does. Also the shredded beef dish portion was a good 20% smaller than usual. I won't be irdering from Toko again

We like this restaurant, we regularly come or order from Toko, but delivery was severely delayed. We would appreciate if you could resolve this issue as this is quite regular thing.

Eaten here several times. Food is tasty and very generous portions. The manager is always very attentive and friendly. It is quiet for eat in so haven't struggled to get a table before.

Have been ordering from Toko for years and this place never fails, great food with brilliant flavours, both take away and in the restaurant.

Ordered for take out. Avoid Sushi and starters. Not sure if the mains are better. But personally I won't order again.

I really enjoy the food here and would go back over and over again if it wasn’t for one major issue for me. I haven’t been here for a few years but I think it is very important for the owners of Toko to know where they are going so wrong. So Toko do two types of main menus one is a la carte where you pay for individual items. There is no problem when ordering this because you are paying for each item and the more you buy the more it costs which means more money for them. However the other menu is the a la carte buffet menu where they charge around £25 per person and you order off of their buffet menu which is supposed to be eat as much as you like. Although it is an all you can eat buffet the lady there always argues against why I shouldn’t order something. I have had the buffet 3 times now and it is really unpleasant, embarrassing and disrespectful. I have given them 3 chances but still their behaviour is unacceptable. Please note that whatever my friends and I order we demolish so no wastage at all. Also when I pressed hard once that I wanted a dish it came out and it was burnt. This was really upsetting. The staff’s whole attitude forces me to give a poor rating sadly. This place could do sooo well and it is unsurprising that the place is always empty due to their attitude. It just feels like they are more concerned about making their money rather than customer satisfaction. Won’t be going back in a hurry but would go back maybe in a few years, definitely not for their buffet though! Very sad because I could give this place a lot of business because I have lots of friends and family who I would take there.

Don’t know if the restaurant has new chefs but the food has been different last couple of times I usually love it, hasn’t been as good!!

The app said that the driver was on his way but then the restaurant called to say he was on his way back and would be a further 20 mins. The duck pancakes are good but sadly the rest of the food is very oily and not flavoursome

Tempura was slightly soggy, pad Thai was in a really strange sauce which wasn’t nice & the fish on the sushi tasted weird and the avocado wasn’t ripe so it was hard. Won’t be ordering again. Driver knocked on door when I specifically asked for him to not (asked to ring me instead)

I ordered Thai green curry, mixed vegetable rice and chicken Katsu curry on Sunday The chicken Katsu curry was the only good thing, even though the portion was very small for £9.95!! Thai green curry sauce was watery, lacked spice and flavour. Could have cooked better myself, blindfolded!! The rice was over cooked and mushy. Even the crackers you get were stale and soft!! Thoroughly annoyed and very unimpressed with the food. I called the restaurant to complain and you just get excuses, no ‘sorry we’ll replace it with a fresh one’, manager didn’t apologise once!! Needless to say I won’t be ordering from here again and am in process of claiming a refund

Absolutely awful experience, this was our first time ordering and will be the last. I honestly cannot see how the restaurant rating is so high. Went for the soft shell crab which is a favourite of mine, expensive but surely at that price it can't go wrong? an hour has now past since we ordered - a call from the restaurant comes through saying the driver has just left despite them updating the app saying it left 20 mins ago..... Another 20 mins, call from the driver who cannot find our place, despite having the exact full address and postcode on the order. After 5 mins I had to leave my flat and go and search for the driver - found them walking round with the order in hand no-where near my place! I asked what the issue is and they said the "GPS" took them to another location?? Took my food - went home, stone cold - braved microwaving it but the quality was awful. I think even if it turned up on time, hot & fresh, it would still have been rubbish. Please don't waste your money at this place being taken in by the reviews - the drivers cannot find a basic address or get the food on time - never mind the poor quality for the price!

Placed an order about 7:20. Received a phone call at 7:40 telling me they ran out of sushi rice and if I wanted something else. Choose different items which worked cheaper and agreed over the phone for a bigger portion or something else to make up for the 3,50£ difference. Received another phone call at 8:25 asking where the building was. 10 min later the food arrived. Not best quality, the items we ordered as replacement were not enough and I felt bad because I did not enjoy my evening. Overpriced, low quality and not good service. Ah the prawn crackers were stale! Not ordering from them again, very disappointed.

Gyoza were nice. Yakisoba was very oily and not nice to eat. Everything tasted really greasy and there was a a layer of oil in the bottom of the container. Quite surprised the government didn't come knocking on the door to buy the oil off me.

Very impressed by the great food ordered from here! Will definitely be using again for the most tasty clean Chinese dishes. Thanks Toko!

not happy with some part of my order, had to call the restaurant .Used this restaurant from the day it is opened the doors, but this is the first time the food did not stand up to the normal TOKO standard. Let's hope it was a bad day...

AWFUL FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO REFUND. The food was terrible and it tasted like stale oil. The tempura was soggy and disguising. Even the prawn crackers were horrible and we couldn’t finish anything it was that bad. We asked for a refund which they have refused. Avoid this place at all costs.

Amazing service from Toko Diner! Came here for a quick meal, and was very surprised. Food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. I come here regularly now. I recommend the vegetable spring rolls. Staff are amazing too :). Overall, a super relaxed and worthwhile place to eat. Thanks again Toko!

The food was really bad. Garlic fried rice that has cucumber? And carrots? And hardly any taste of garlic. The curry was bland, woke up with really bad tummy.

Was disappointed with the seasonal vegetables in oyster sauce, it comprised of ONE vegetable, some sort of seasonal green. It was very bland and poor excuse for a vegetarian dish.

Food was nearly an hour late (valentines day so expected a LITTLE delay!) but my gosh, the food made up for it... Absolutely delicious as usual, ordered here a few times and never had bad food, the only "bad feedback" is the sushi rolls are massively over priced. But everything else was absolutely lush.
