Ensalada de algas... un poco pastosa con ese aderezo intenso Agedashi dofu, buena salsa de ginan, pero la textura del tofu era extraña, y no crujiente. El revestimiento era correcto, pero tenía que ser crujiente. El wagyu era masticable... El arroz y las setas, era bueno, demasiado repetitivo los shimeiji, que ya vimos en el agedashi. Tetera demasiado grande... ¿por qué?No puedes tomar el té sentado en el agua en Japón. Terminas la olla de una vez y luego la rellenas. Precio... escandalosamente caro.

I asked if there were nuts in a muffin and was told no. Luckily my daughter didn’t feel comfortable eating it. I took a bite and it had nuts. It was very good, but wouldn’t go back.

Ahhhh por dónde empezar - Jusu... En un día frío y lluvioso, vimos a los hermanos Jusu desde la distancia. Nuestro salvador, o eso pensamos... con grandes esperanzas y manos frías, entramos. Permítanme comenzar diciendo que no tenía problemas ni con el servicio ni con el sabor - de hecho la comida (tostadas francesas) estaba bastante deliciosa! Mi esposa también disfrutó mucho de su café con leche helado. Sin embargo, el tamaño de la porción era abismal! Ni siquiera mi hijo de tres años habría estado satisfecho. Filthy/torn menu, dirty tables and chairs and uninterested staff...First and last time here. Not recommended. Plenty other options in the radius of 1/2 miles.

We made a pitstop at Cheeky Scones in Notting Hill on our way to Portobello Road Market and bought a scone (pecan). Worthwhile waiting in the queue. Service is quick. Scones are fabulous. You can sit on the bench in front of the shop in the street. One of the best scones ever eaten!

I went to the Kensington Church St shop today to buy food to take home for for dinner. I was there at about 1545 but the selection was already limited. I have had good (very expensive) dishes (meatballs, chicken with apple...) but none available, so bought the chicken satay. Very disappointing and nothing like the real thing. Nice fat chicken chunks on skewers, slightly grilled. Minimal evidence of marinade, tiny apology for peanut sauce, no spiciness. You get the message. Do it right, Sally, or not at all....

Absolutely love this place! The food is consistently excellent — generous portions, cooked to perfection, and full of flavour. The drink selection is top-notch, with something for everyone, whether you’re after a classic pint or a well-crafted cocktail. What really sets this pub apart, though, is the service. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home. Special mention to Naomi, the Assistant Manager — she’s fantastic. Warm, professional, and always on the ball. Her attention to detail and positive attitude really elevate the experience. The atmosphere is just right too — cosy, lively without being too loud, and perfect whether you’re in for a quick drink or a full evening out. In addition the beer garden is a great sun trap when it decides to come out! I can’t recommend it enough!

The most rude staff in all of Notting Hill. 🤮 Edit: I don't hate the policy. I didn't like the way your staff said and acted that. But I get where they got it from. Your reply proves my point.
