The Prince Albert in Kensington and Chelsea

Absolutely love this place! The food is consistently excellent — generous portions, cooked to perfection, and full of flavour. The drink selection is top-notch, with something for everyone, whether you’re after a classic pint or a well-crafted cocktail. What really sets this pub apart, though, is the service. The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel at home. Special mention to Naomi, the Assistant Manager — she’s fantastic. Warm, professional, and always on the ball. Her attention to detail and positive attitude really elevate the experience. The atmosphere is just right too — cosy, lively without being too loud, and perfect whether you’re in for a quick drink or a full evening out. In addition the beer garden is a great sun trap when it decides to come out! I can’t recommend it enough!

To be honest, it's not easy for a Spaniard to write an opinion about food in a London establishment. But I'm going to try to be totally fair. First of all, we are talking about a price that is approximately double that in Spain and the original offer is very different and less varied. Having said that, I have to say that the experience at The Prince Albert was very positive. A comfortable place, with a traditional and relaxed atmosphere, at least at the time we went. Good attention from the staff and what surprised me was the food. The house specials, highly recommended. We ordered a cod and a salmon dish, I can't remember the names of the dishes, and I must admit they were very good. Therefore, and in the absence of further experience with the establishment, I will rate it a 5, but it should be 4+.

The Prince Albert near Notting Hill Gate is a cozy, welcoming pub with a great atmosphere. The outdoor garden is a real highlight — spacious and perfect for a relaxed drink. Service was excellent, especially thanks to Max, who was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. A great spot!

To say the food was average would be an overstatement. Poorly presented, over cooked and pretty tasteless. Wouldn’t bother again. However the Espresso Martini was good!

the food was great & a great deal for bar snacks! you just can’t get a Guinness in the US like you can in the UK! we lingered for way longer than expected because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Max was a great server!

Excellent food and service from Max!

This place was a joke- drinks good, staff ok, slow service for food even in quiet times. calamari came fishy and cold, asked for it to be reheated and it was literally microwaved and came back soggy. avocado salad, mango was off and avocado hard, chips cold with about a gram of parmesan, we didnt eat the food and weren’t even asked if all was fine.

My friends and I visited restaurants in search of a delicious dinner. Nice, comfortable boxes to sit in. Some interesting items on the menu. I am convinced that everyone will find something for themselves. Food very tasty. Helpful service. They are happy to advise you on what you can try. I highly recommend this place.

Genuinely good food at a fair price and staff and service is very impressive. The place has a rustic, perhaps old fashioned slightly tired feel but don’t let that put you off the place as it’s one of the best pubs in West London!

We are regular guest of the Prince Albert pub, every time we come to London it is a fixed stop. As always Sten and Vlad provided the best service, really attentive and precise. The food was simply delicious, we recommend the nachos and the pie, even if every item on the menu is awesome. Highly recommend.

This is our favourite regular restaurant when visiting Portobello street market or the neighbouring Notting Hill Comic Exchange. The portions are nicely original. Tasty with a twist. The service is friendly and considerate. A bit draughty.

Very friendly staffs, especially Max was taking a great care of us, as we’re from Japan we were a little worried how it goes and he made it worth our meal and drink, the food was not too much so it was rather perfect for me to finish, lovely atmosphere!

Fried chicken starter was amazing! I’d come back just to have it for a hungover saviour. Max was so nice and even gave us extra spicy honey for our chicken. Such an easy spot in Notting Hill to grab a drink and nibbles.

Pepsi-Max (Max) is a legend. Good to watch the football, Aussie approved. Pints a bit pricey but not sure how they compare elsewhere in Notting Hill.

Bartender was very rude - he asked for ID which I didnt have so I ordered a non alcoholic drink, he then accused me of trying to get my friends to buy an alcoholic drink for me. I understand IDing but to accuse me of lying after I had already ordered a non alcoholic drink is so disrespectful. He then ignored me and proceeded to serve someone else. Will not be back

Vi kom her en lørdag for at få fish and chips. Der var mange mennesker, så vi valgte at sætte os i den opvarmede gårdhave på trods af årstiden. Det var egentlig fint nok. Lidt køligt trods terassevarmere, men sådan er det jo. Vi bestilte fish and chips og sandwich med steak. Maden var ok og kom inden for rimelig tid. Man kunne bestille og betale via en qr-kode. Dog skulle man vælge allerede der, om man vil give drikkepenge, hvilket jo er svært, når man ikke ved, hvordan maden eller betjeningen er. En standard pub, hverken rigtig god eller dårlig.

Tonight Mixed Mike was refused service for apparently “making people feel uncomfortable”. Even though all night he talked to me as can be seen on the CCTV as I was seated in front of it. There was a similar incident with a gentleman on the news recently with a Restaurant refusing service to a gentleman with facial disfigurement caused by cancer called Oliver Bromley being refused service at a restaurant for “making customer feel uncomfortable”. It was only one staff that asserted this, and another backed him due to pressure I’m guessing as she is a lovely lady. Perhaps the CCTV footage should be reviewed and a fair conclusion reached. Peace ✌🏼 but it’s in the spirit of fairness ⚖️!!!

A Mixed Mike se le negó el servicio por aparentemente “hacer que la gente se sienta incómoda”. A pesar de que toda la noche me habló como se puede ver en la CCTV mientras estaba sentado frente a ella. Hubo un incidente similar con un caballero en las noticias recientemente con un restaurante que rechaza el servicio a un caballero con desfiguración facial causada por cáncer llamado Oliver Bromley que se le negó el servicio en un restaurante por “hacer que el cliente se sienta incómodo”. Fue solo un personal el que afirmó esto, y otro lo respaldó debido a la presión que supongo, ya que es una dama encantadora. Quizá deban revisarse las imágenes de CCTV y llegar a una conclusión justa. Paz ✌🏼 pero es en el espíritu de justicia ⚖️!!
