Westeleven Restaurant holds a special place in my heart. The food isn't just delicious; it's a journey back to cherished memories. Each bite reminds me of home and family gatherings. This restaurant is a true gem, and I'm forever grateful for the warmth it brings to my life.

Breakfast buffet including classic British breakfast specialties and also other dishes. It was good, and seems to be the only place in Holland Park that serves the trad Brit breakfast, which of course everyone except us visiting foreigners eschews these days.

Well oiled machine. The staff were spot on in providing excellent service. The food choices were numerous.

Dined here whilst staying in the hotel, it was like a trip in time back to 1990. They need to make it modern and more appealing if they want to attract more people

He estado allí muchas veces para el desayuno durante su estancia en el Hilton Kensington en los últimos 3 años. Este restaurante tiene una buena selección de comida y el servicio es bueno. Un agradecimiento especial al Sr. Alessandro, quien desde la primera visita en nuestra estadía más reciente ha memorizado el pedido de nuestro grupo y nos estaba sirviendo casi todos los días que estaba allí. Siempre estaba saludando a los invitados, atento a las solicitudes, hace un seguimiento de cualquier otra cosa requerida y muy cortés.

Zona de bar muy relajante cuando puedes tener bocadillos, comidas o bebidas. Restaurante en la vista. El personal era un crédito para el hotel.

What a first class service he provided! Nothing was too much trouble Saturday 3rd December! Helpful polite!

Food servings were small and quality not up to usual standards for a person who uses Hilton sites for both business and pleasure. Service team was also not up to snuff. Once server actually grabbed my shoulder rather than coming around to my front or gently tapping my shoulder ( even then no one has really done that in a restaurant) to catch my attention. Their communication skills are not clear.

Best breakfast ever, and plenty of it. Even if you are a fussy eater, there is something for everyone . Juices, cereals, porridge, cooked breakfast, bread, rolls, cakes, fruit, tea , different coffees, t choose from.

Had lunch here each day while at the Hilton. Good selection, nice staff. The food was good and the restaurant is nice and big so you can spread out a little and relax.

This is the breakfast lounge at the Hilton Kensington in London. This review is based on our experience at breakfast only. We've stayed at the Hotel twice in the previous few weeks for a total of 11 days. I must say the quality of the breakfast buffet is great. Cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cold meats & salad and also a variety of hot food including vegetarian sausages - which really impressed me. You can also order an omelette cooked to your individual specifications. The tea and coffee is self serve but there's nothing wrong with this. We found the staff to be accommodating, speedy, professional and courteous. The staff in the Executive Lounge (especially Hilal) were outstanding and made the breakfast experience during our stay extremely enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble in this respect. Top notch performance. Recommend it if you are staying at the Hilton. We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast was not hurried. Selection of food was good, with plenty of fruit. Coffee was self-served from a machine: good, nonetheless. Choice of low-fat or full fat milk.

The Weatherspoon's upstairs offers the best value food and drinks and this is where the locals go. There is also an all you can eat Chinese and a Multi-Screen Cinema

Had 2 lunches here on a business stay as well as tea & light breakfasts. Food was always really nice, particularly the shepherds bush pie & coconut curry. Pastries were excellent, surroundings stylish & staff nice. Can't comment on value as was pre paid with business but with beer at ~£5.50 a pint, I imagine it's not a bargain!

I ordered a steak medium rare--it came med. well, and then when sent back appeared as medium ( which I ate). the server was terrific about it. there is nothing WRONG about this restaurant, but not much wonderful about it either. its too expensive for what it serves. my mash was floating in oil/butter? but it is convenient for a fast meal... when the lobby bar is full of people watching sport!!

Food was inventive and GOOD. Service was really good. Ate here one night after visiting the city. Wanted a bit more than the bar restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. A bit pricey but that's to be expected in a nice hotel restaurant. If I lived locally, I could see dropping by here for special events.

My husband and I dined here in September after having purchased a `Buy a Gift' voucher as a Christmas present. This restaurant is situated inside the Hilton Hotel Kensington. The nearest overground station is Shepherds Bush (6-7 min walk) which has connections into Clapham Junction.We were warmly greeted upon arrival & immediately shown to our table even though we were early. There were 3 different menu choices for vegetarians & considerably more for meat eaters. The warm bread rolls offered were divine, prior, during & after our meal which was a nice touch. The presentation of the food was 10/10 and the service was satisfactory despite appearing to be understaffed. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and we felt comfortable & relaxed during our evening. Staff were always on hand & appeared professional, pleasant & courteous. The only criticism I have is that my sparking water was served at room temperature & no ice (or lemon) was offered.Other than that I would highly recommend for a pleasant meal. Keep up the good work.

My wife and I dined here on 19th September, we we greeted and shown to our table efficiently, order was taken along with a drinks order promptly. My wife who is a vegetarian started with goats cheese, while I had the Scallops , both excellent dishes and well presented. My wife had a pasta dish for main course I had the stack burger which was one of the best burgers I've ever had , what a portion too , my wife enjoyed her pasta dish which I tried and was very tasty. For desert my wife had pecan pie while I had the chocolate torte both very nice and presented beautifully. This was an excellent meal we both enjoyed the whole experience and even though the restaurant did seem to be short on staff they all worked well and were friendly and efficient. The location is great and easy to get too off the shepherds Bush overground station, we shall return in the future .

Had a bit of a strange experience here. We went on a groupon offer which perhaps doesn't bode well to start with. It was a set menu including steak as the main course.We were asked how we would like the steak cooked and answered rare / medium rare. We were informated that they had run out and that we could only have medium / well done steak which worryingly suggested that they had pre cooked the steak, which is odd.Anyway after asking for clarification the waiter dissappeared and came back saying we could have the steak rare after all. It wasn't great steak when it arrived, but perhaps its unfair to judge a place on the back of a groupon offer.There was also a bit of a flat atmosphere in the place which is probably as a result of it being a hotel restaurant.

There was no atmosphere here, service was slow and there were not many options for everyone (meat eaters and vegetarian). Needs to be more friendly and better quality food.

Booked the table for 9 to celebrate girl friends birth day , this restaurant is within the Hilton Kensington and I would say one of the best restaurant in area to experiance British cuisine , when arrived in restaurant I got a warm welcome from the restaurant hostess and the staff , our table was nicely arranged , a very nice casual atmosphere in restaurant , nice decor , clean and tidy . We had ordered from main menu and it was just delicious , from starters till the desserts . I would recommend to try grills for the main course ,, the best steak I have ever had in ma life . Very nice presentation,, And on top of that chef and the restaurant staff got birth day cake which was surprise for my girl friend , we were not expecting it and they really made our evening so special ,, I would visit again and again ;)

My husband took me to WestEleven for a special meal during our trip to London. The Restaurant is situated within the Hilton Hotel Kensington.We had booked the table for 7.30, but due to circumstances beyond our control, had to change the booking to later in the evening. The restaurant were most accomodating with our request, and thanked us for informing them of the problem.The dinner started with Bellini cocktails which we had in the bar and where we were given plenty of time to read through the menu of the day.The food was superb. My steak was so tender and cooked to such perfection that really a steak knife was not required. We passed our compliments onto the chef, who left his kitchen to speak with us.All the staff without exception, went the 'extra mile' to ensure that our experience was most pleasant.The meal, restaurant and whole ambiance of the place was ideal.Will definitley return .

The meal was booked on a KGB deal. The restaurant itself has a good atmosphere, and all staff were very polite, helpful and efficient. Started off with a bellini cocktail(very good) then went through to the restaurant, where the food was excellent. It would have been pricey without the deal, but for a special occasion it is superb, recommended without doubt.

One of the more terrible meals we've ever had, with appalling service. We were a group of 8 and went on a Friday night. The restaurant was not very busy. The waiter made us order all 3 courses at once which we weren't prepared for and when we asked if we could order the desserts after the entrees and mains we were refused. We even asked for more time to review the menu and he said no! When the food arrived it was cold and tasteless. The cocktails were just as awful, no taste and watered down. The service was beyond bad. The waiters kept knocking the person's chair behind us everytime they came with a meal or a menu for either one of our tables. Even though there were only 3-4 tables utilized they insisted on walking between ours instead of around. The entire experience, from ambience to service to the food on the plate was a ghastly one. We will definitely not be returning nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Booked on a Living Social Deal.Greeted with a smile, and taken to the bar with menus for our Cocktail.Ordered 3 courses from Set Menu with 4 choices per course. Breads were warm and plentiful.All food was well done and beautifully presented.Drinks are pricey, but we expected it. £4.50 a pint, £8.50 a Large Red.Quiet, nearly empty room.Lovely attentive service throughout, and we had lots of time to enjoy.Lovely evening and Staff were a credit.

Stopped at the entrance by a man with the guest list. I told him my family were in there. He told me "No, there is nobody inside there" - but I could see people sitting at tables!!! The other man was more welcoming and let me go inside. The service is slow. Soup of the day was warm - not hot. Main course was bland. Wouldn't go there again. I only went there because my parents were staying at the hotel and wanted to eat at the hotel, rather than go out. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend to anyone. You can go to many other places with much better food, much better service and much faster service (as I normally do go to!!)

never have I experienced such poor service and quality of food. Booked our table for 8.30 the resturant was quiet yet it took 30 minutes to order drinks and a further 15 minutes to order food. 40 minutes later the food arrived cold, and the couple on the table opposite had a three courses served wrong !. Maybe this was a one off but I doubt it, the final nail in the coffin came when the waiter took the two pints if lager we ordered past our table and into the kitchen ! Maybe the chef needed them more than us.

We were recommended to try the steaks and although they were good, the portions were small and my husband remarked that the French fries looked as if they had been sourced from Macdonalds down the road. Why did they not have the real thing? The price of the wine, like most restaurants, was outrageous and really the meal although OK was not good value.

We ate early(6pm) and were very well attended to. Food was good and our waiter was very kind

Used this restaurant as we were staying in the hotel. food was ok but not amazing and service could have been better.

The choice on the menu is quite impressive and service is excellent, especially for a place that can be quite busy, esp. on Sundays.We went several times to Balans West over the last four years and the quality of meals can compare to many high level restaurants. The wait staff are very friendly and provide sensible advice. Portions are ample, certainly aren't small. We will go there the next time we're in London as we used to do. Highly recommended!

Like all Balans you never actually get a decent meal. people go there under some delusion that it's quite hip. Staff service is efficient but not warm. The servings are clealry meant for the Kate Moss's of this world and the desserts are probably the worst of it.
