VQ Notting Hill in Kensington and Chelsea

Amazing food. My favourite place in the world, the staff are all so friendly and I’m never disappointed any time I come here. Thank you guys ❤️ Food is 12/10

We had a lovely breakfast. Friendly staff, nice decor and at £23 for two bubble & squeak potatoes with poached eggs, teas & coffees, I thought it was fairly reasonable. Well worth a visit.

I booked for a birthday meal for sunday evening. The whole booking process was friendly and efficient:) I was booked in by antonela who was lovely, friendly & took care of my requests! On arrival our table was decorated as i requested and we had been greeted and taken care of by oriol the attentive friendly manager. The birthday boy had a great evening and i am very grateful for the food and service. Thank you so much!!

In between appointments, I thought I’d run down Pembridge Rd to get me an ice cream from another lovely establishment down to the road. Passing by VQ, I noticed a team of very clearly diligent waiters interacting by the front counter before I noticed the menu and all day breakfast. I was greeted by a really respectful smiley waiter and service remained so throughout. My omelette had a clean home made, no frills quality to it and the plain Americano was one of the best and perfectly balanced I’ve had...and Ive had a few. Cosy, somewhat dark interior but that is made up by the wholesome food and great service.

I have been visiting VQ Notting Hill for probably more than a year now. I was attracted to it because of the amazing customer service I use to receive and the chilled out friendly environment. I once gave it an extremely high TripAdvisor review for its top notch customer service, naming many of the employees for whom I took the time and diligence to learn their names. But for some reason all these incredible wonderful employees left and the new replacement have much to be desired. I have been treated with incredible rudeness by one particular employee named Thicago. I’m sure this young man hates his job because he seems to take it out on me. He purposely gets my orders wrong. If I ask for brown bread, he bring white (to which I have a slight allergy and did feel a bit ill that day). When I ask for white whine he brings red and when I ask for cold Mocha he brings a hot Mocha. All these incidents actually happened. I know its intentional because tonight I distinctly made my order for white whine audibly clear and also pointed to it on the menu, then he smiled and asked if I wanted red. Very spiteful and rude. I told the manager that his behaviour is very rude towards me, without a detailed explanation. But she said she couldn’t see how he could be rude. As a loyal customer I believe my complaint should be sufficient. I don’t come here for this type of treatment. I still rate the venue highly and their food is ok but the customers service gets nil from me. Amy is the only employee I rate highly who manages to create a welcoming vibrant environment still worth visiting when she is on duty.

We love this place. It's become something of a weekend tradition to have brunch here, usually at the same table. Staff are friendly and efficient, breakfasts are satisfying, and there's always a good tune playing. Don't miss the bubble & squeak.

I walked into VQ last night for a pre-theatre dinner (had a ticket to the Gate Theatre opposite) tempted by the promise of a discount for ticket holders. I expected just to order a burger but the first surprise was that the menu offered, among other dishes, home made huumus and roasted duck leg. The huumus truly tasted home made and the duck leg (served with butter beans and fregola) was perfectly cooked. I finished with delicious sticky toffee pudding topped with vanilla ice cream. And main course accompanied by good glass of a Spanish red wine. A very happy experience.

Staff were friendly especially Danilo who was willing to make changes for us especially to my Mocha. And the breakfast was fantastic

The inside was completely packed but I honestly have no clue to as why. The coffee was poor literally to a point where it’s not even drinkable might as well have ordered hot water. Also, the food was just very average abit too bland and tasteless on top of that we waited about an hour. They seemed to be short on staff which means poor service for me. When we was ready to order we had to go over and call the waiter ourself because no member of staff came over to see if we was ready to order. Will definitely not be visiting again and not what I was expecting seen as they are located in portabello where they should expect traffic in customers.

We went yesterday for a (very) late breakfast and were extremely satisfied with what we found. I ordered a English break fast muffin and it was a perfect portion size and prize for me. The service in particular stood out, though. Shout out to Vivian and Bruno for being friendly and attentive during our meal! We'll definitely be back!!
