Extremely busy after the Notting Hill Carnival as you can imagine but the beer was at such a great value, I'll have to go back here again at some point.

Great place always make a stop here when in London for a show.

We happened to pass this lovely pub on the way to Westfield Center. Since we had just arrived in London and didn't have any beer yet, we went in and didn't regret it. Very cozy atmosphere, nice service and good beers. The highlight was the karaoke evening with the many nice people who immediately gave us a friendly welcome. Jilly and Marie, if you read this, warm greetings from Austria!

Good little boozer before a QPR game, quick service, pool table, televisions for the racing. Decent Guiness!

Popped in on way back home from Westfield. Nice to have outside seating. The woman behind the bar is delightful, so friendly to those who are not locals, and so welcoming - an asset to the pub for sure!!🤔 Definitely returning though as not far away and this is a proper pub, which are few and far between in London, and it's worth it for having the moral high ground in manners. Not sure how many visits constitute being a local, but will be interesting to see if I get any acknowledgement, or a thank you next time I order a drink, or spoken to at all for that matter - the entire transaction carried on wih only me talking, saying please and thank you. 1 star for food as no food served here, 2 stars for service because the other member of staff is ok, 4 for atmosphere because the other locals seem happy enough to talk to new patrons, even if the staff don't!

a bad experience. I was at the pub with my friends having fun and singing and I was sharing a drink with my friend and one of the employees with black glasses came up to me and told me that she knew I hadn't bought a drink for myself and if I don't buy drinks I won't should go to pubs. It turned my night from a happy one to a sad one. Employees shouldn't treat customers like that because I enjoyed the experience and now I'm never going back.

No food, rude staff and misogynistic punters.

The Stewart Arms is a proper community pub where you can still get a large glass of lovely French Rose for £6.30. It has been this price for about a year now and they havent put it up immediately after the Gov announcement last week. They have live music every Friday. It was brilliant last night.

Great boozer in this area not many left in North Kensington. Great outside area to watch the world go by. Decent amount of screens, dukie and pool table. Locals atmosphere and run by a lovely women who makes you feel very welcome.

Very friendly and reasonably priced for this area. Tucked away just off the main road but worth finding. Good choice of drinks and excellent customer service.

Hate writing this because if anyone reads this we're screwing ourselves - it's a Super friendly and relaxed local, and one of the best pubs we've been to in quite some time. Really good beer and wine selection - our Surrey mate was bowled over by the quality Sauvignon Blanc - nuff said. Great work people, Keep it up. Did I mention the darts and pool? Shsssssshhh.

Excellent pub. They had @matcmusic on when we went. We had a great night enjoying quality beer, music, wine, whilst enjoying less quality conversation (totally on us, we're appalling conversationalists). Bar staff are brilliant. We're going back for as long as they'll have us

Tucked away in an urban oasis, this cute little pub offers great selection with reasonable prices and a very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit after work.

This was once the lively hub of the community where friends and family used to meet. Some of the tourists from the Hilton used to pop in and interact with the locals. Sadly that is all in the past now. The current management have barred many of the locals and many more have stopped going in there because the staff have been so rude and disrespectful towards them. The prices have also increased alarmingly so it is no longer affordable. Bizarrely they still have entertainment on a Friday night playing to just a handful of people but all the doors and windows stay firmly shut even on the hottest of days because of the noise.

Live music by JT and the band is a very good session, good atmosphere Friendly staff and locals

This is a good bar.Just across the road from the Hilton. Friendly pub, good beers. Seating outside and a good jukebox.

Outside seating is limited, the table service App has limited options so you can easily loose your table Which makes the App a bit pointless!!!!

Popped in for a quick drink with my family(6 adults) after walking past earlier, after an initial distant reception, had a really enjoyable hour or so, really well priced for the area, and staff were very engaging in the end

Greatest pub in London. Good Guinness and relaxed atmosphere.

Good beer however the land lady insisted we move our bikes from a perfectly reasonable spot outside, to literally off the premises completely, which was pointless. I understand there are times but this was in the day at a very quiet time. Seemed very unreasonable.

A pub, I pop into every once and a while, and have done since the early 70s, I have never had a bad pint of Guinness here, that makes it a good pub.

Very dirty place, smelly, rude staff. We asked for non alcoholic beer, they sold us an alcoholic ginger beer! when told them they refused to accept or change our drink. Very bad experience overall.

This place is a must visit if you’re looking for a traditional London pub.. good choice of drinks. Prices are very reasonable.. staff are friendly and the locals are also friendly...

No frills, no restaurant, no beer garden. What they do have is great beer, a good atmosphere and a hugely friendly welcome. We were treated like we'd been going in there all our lives. Old school pubs like this have nearly disappeared and we were so happy we found it. 2 minutes from Shepherds Bush tube and just round the corner from the Hilton Kensington hotel. Help keep this pub alive and visit !

A lovely place. A pint of Courage bitter and nuts came to less than £5! It's a great little pub, tucked away off the Shepherd's Bush roundabout. Well worth the find. Staff and customers all friendly. A traditional pub with a traditional welcome. Drop by.

Nice unpretentious local pub which keeps a vibe of authentic English aura. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is a decent selection of spirits and beers.

This is not a Restaurant, but an amazing Pub. Located a stones throw from the Hilton Kensington, it is a great escape from the Hilton world, at a fraction of the price. Happy Hour goes for hours. We found the staff and patronage totally welcoming. After two visits we felt like apprentice locals. I cannot recommend this Pub enough for its atmosphere.

I went there on Friday night was staying at the Hilton looking for a real English Pub and found it....

The Stewart Arms is an historic pub dating back 80 years or so. It’s the only one left in the area, all the rest have been pulled down by way of “progress” they do not serve food, only proper pints, no real ale though. They don’t serve hot food, NLP crisps and peanuts sometimes a few extras if there a a party or entertainment but it cannot be classified as a restaurant. What you will find is a warm and friendly welcome and entertainment at weekends. The poster has been removed after some complaints even though it was meant to be historic and not racist as many claim.

Stumbled across this hidden gem by chance. Great location next to HILTON HOTEL on Holland Park and Westfield. Not the high prices up the road in Holland Park and Nottinghill. Lovely circular bar with all the usual London Ales, beers, spirits and imported bottles also a nice selection of wines. Lots of cosy seating areas. Staff were best I had encountered. Happy to oblige and chatted to all the customers whilst briskly serving drinks. Free bar snacks put on bar at the weekend. My friends and I had a great night. Situated 2 mins from Shepherds Bush Overground and Underground. Great pub and fab location!!

I was out with a friend in Shepherd's Bush last night & we head into a pub called The Stewart Arms. We noticed after a few minutes that they had this old ad for a slave auction on the wall. I complained to one of the bar staff who kind of brushed it off, when another man saw us & came over and said loud & clear to us in our faces FIVE REAL SLAVES FOR SALE at which point my friend (who is a black woman) walked out of the pub. I've tweeted the manager who seems like a generally trash human being but idk if anything will come of it there or what else to do.

The sheer lack of common decency, moral backbone and integrity needed to have racist slave memorabilia on the wall in any pub, particularly in an area with the history and culture that Notting Hill has, is unbelievable.
