Cheeky Scone in Kensington and Chelsea

We made a pitstop at Cheeky Scones in Notting Hill on our way to Portobello Road Market and bought a scone (pecan). Worthwhile waiting in the queue. Service is quick. Scones are fabulous. You can sit on the bench in front of the shop in the street. One of the best scones ever eaten!

Pretty disappointed. Had high hopes but when a business points to the high value jams on the top counter (ie Tiptree jam) for your choice and then proceeds to add the bargain basement jam from the large tub of Chefs larder and country range. Not only is this bad practice, it is bordering on calling this to authorities. In this case it made me look deeper into the workings, firstly the state of the place, unkept, dirty and the toilets 🤔 not good. The scone product itself are small and quite doughy, a good helping of cream and alot of Jam (the cheap one) if you order the take away you get very small portions of both. It feels that as prices have gone up over the years for them they have dropped quality which is a same. Staff attentive and seemed nice

Se c’è un dolcetto che dovete provare è sicuramente lo Scone! Trattasi di dolcetti lievitati morbidi dentro con un leggero guscio croccante, serviti con clotted cream (una specie di crema al formaggio burrosa) e marmellata (a scelta tra lampone, fragola, arancia e composta di cipolle). Qui potete trovare diversi gusti dolci e anche qualche variante salata (noi ne abbiamo visto uno). Il loro deal è uno scone original con crema, marmellata e tazza di tè a 8 sterline (circa 9.20€), mediamente ogni scone costa sui 4€. Noi abbiamo preso il deal e uno scone allo sciroppo d’acero e noci pecan, pagando 14.40€ circa totali. I dolcetti sono belli grandi comunque.

Un régal ! En allant sur Portobello Road au début de notre séjour à Londres, nous nous sommes arrêtés prendre une box de 3 scones à emporter pour 10£, nous nous sommes régalés 😋 Nous venons d'y repasser pour y faire notre dernier repas avant de rentrer en France, très copieux, nous sommes repartis avec un doggy bag 🥰 Une équipe très sympathique et un régal pour les papilles 💖

スコーンはお店によって全然違いますが、こちらの物は私の大好きなタイプでした。 中は程よく柔らかく、外側は厚くザクザク、ホ ロホロとcrunchy。しかも大きくて食べ応えがあります。 少し粉の風味が強いですが、敢えてそうしてるのかな？ 雨で夏とは思えない寒い日でしたが、身体も心も暖まり大満足でした。

Testé ''cheeky Scone'' lors d'un petit-déjeuner. Vraiment très bon, croustillant à l'extérieur et moelleux à l'intérieur. Le lieu est sympa et agréable pour manger sur place.

Found by chance when wandering through Notting Hill on a Saturday afternoon. The smell wafting out of the shop at 3pm drew us inside. Found a table downstairs for 7 and we tucked in to apple crumble scone (delicious), fruit scone (delicious), cheese and onion scone (delicious). These are thr nicest scones I have ever eaten, plump and tempting and without the bicarb aftertaste you get from shop bought scones. Went home to Aylesbury with a box of scones for Sunday breakfast. I don't get into London often so this was the "icing on the cake" of my visit.

Endroit charmant et accueillant et tellement bon ! Le scone lemon poppy avec crème , une tuerie ! Je recommande sans hésiter !

En chemin pour le marché de Portobello road je suis passée devant cette charmante petite boutique et l'odeur alléchantes qui en sortait m'a poussé à faire demi tour pour acheter des scones alors que je venais de manger un petit déjeuner très copieux. Trois scones pour 10£ ce n'est pas très cher et lorsque je les ais finalement dégustés en fin d'après midi, j'ai regretté de ne pas les avoir goûtés immédiatement car j'aurais voulu en acheter plus! Ils sont absolument parfaits, bien moelleux à l'intérieur et les différents parfums ( sirop d'érable/noix de pécan, crumble pommes cannelle et chocolat blanc) étaient tous délicieux. La prochaine fois que je viens à Londres, je passe dévaliser le magasin.

L’endroit parfait pour manger des scones à Londres, à l’entrée de Notting Hill ! Moelleux au possible, avec le cream cheese et la confiture, que demander de plus !!

The worst scones ever. The scone was raw inside. They kindly brought me another and that was uncooked inside too. The waitress said that’s what happens to scones when you heat them up. Ridiculous? I couldn’t eat it and spent £8 on nothing.

Molto buoni, con 8£ ti danno una tazza di the e uno scone con marmellata e panna, forse si trovano a meno ma il posto è pulito e con posto a sedere quindi lo consiglio :)

Première fois pour nous dans ce quartier. Tombé sur cette adresse par hasard. Excellent scones, frais et à priori fait sur place. Très gourmands, nous avons beaucoup aimé ! 10 livres les 3 scones, excellent rapport qualité prix !

Average tasting scone had lemon poppy seed , my reason for writing this review is regarding the customer service inrelation to the Asian girl that served us found her to be extremely rude, no smile, dead tone of voice appeared to be offended by my polite bubbly self , I enjoy supporting small businesses being self employed my self regretting supporting this one that made me feel unwelcome which is a shame.

Great gathering place for our group which was setting out to explore Portobello road. The owners tucked us into their downstairs room, which was the perfect size for our group of about 16. Delicious assortment of scones and either tea or coffee drinks to pair with the scones.

Excellent scones and nice atmosphere. Great selection and great service. Recommend it in Notting Hill on your way to Portobello Road.

Fabulous scones, substantial and perfectly cooked. excellent coffee, friendly service, fairly priced for this area. A must for breakfast!
