I live in Isleworth but always used to go Richmond for Chinese or Thai food as never liked the taste of food from Asian restaurants in Isleworth. But after eating at Thai Bridge Inn I have stopped going to Richmond. Food taste and quality is extremely good and price is roughly 1/2 of what you pay at restaurants in Richmond. I have seen local Thai people eating at this restaurant which is a big sign that food is authentic and good.

We travelled from Surrey to come to this rubbish restaurant which was a 25 minute journey. Right from the beginning the service was awful as the waiters didn't even come to ask us for drinks. We ordered starters and it took over half an hour. A complete joke. My young daughter was so hungry. Since the starters took so long we decided to order main course and that took another hour. And this is on a quiet weekday. It was my Mums birthday and the lack of service completely ruined it. We weren't even asked how many naan breads or rice portions we want. Waiters hurriedly took orders of main dishes. The tables took ages to clear and it took them about 20 minutes to bring our birthday cake (which we bought in ourself) out. All the recent reviews you see are fake. Its so obvious. Note to management: If you want to run this business properly you need more chefs. No customer wants to wait two hours for food.

This place has seriously gone downhill. Most of all the staff are RUDE RUDE RUDE. There’s so much more options now. People of Hounslow take a walk along Stains Road new place Chaat & Go is good. Staff amazing and great service. It’s a small take-away only place but I prefer it head over heels over Thakkers.

Be warned when ordering donor meat and chips. They’ll fill the box with 70% salad and 30% Meat and chips. I complained and he said that’s the portion ratio they give. Eventually he felt by giving me a free bottle of Ayran I would just keep quiet. Will never visit again

Came highly recommended. Admittedly we arrived late at 22.10 and were told the bar closed at 22.30. We ordered drinks and meals for four which they were happy to accept but we felt like they wanted us to eat up and leave as quickly as possible. The staff continually hovered around our table, making us feel under pressure to leave. While eating our meal a member of staff approached us and asked if we were ready to pay. Two couples, not drunk had one alcoholic drink each. Meal was £120, made to feel like we were an inconvenience. Last conversation we had with a member of staff was at 11.25 when we were told to drink up and leave. On balance, it was late when we entered and the staff were probably eager to go home after a long day, but if that is the case don't accept late orders for food if you are not prepared to allow a reasonable time to enjoy your lovely food.

Champagne at LHR T2We have dined at the Caviar House & Prunier on St James many times, and did so again, during our November trip. We have stopped into their shop, and the separate bar/dining area at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, before catching our flight home to the USA. We did so, on this trip. Our flight was later than we usually take, and we had gotten to LHR with lots of time on our hand. Before heading to the United Club, we decided to stop into the Caviar House & Prunier shop in the terminal building, past Security. On this visit, we were interested in Champagne, and they always can accommodate us in that respect. We pulled up stools at the semi-circular bar, essentially in the middle of the rotunda at Terminal 2, watching the airline traffic, outside of the building, through giant windows. We had two glasses of the Laurent Perrier, and sat back, to relax, before heading to an early lunch, near our departure gate. Our service was very good, and cheerful. On this visit, we only sat at the bar for Champagne, and did not visit their near-by retail store - but we had already shopped at their St James restaurant, earlier in the visit.Lovely, and we try to always stop, when departing from T2 at LHR.
