Bridge Inn Thai Restaurant in Hounslow

We ordered a meal for 3 via Ubereats, which I'd not heard of, as we've nothing like that in the part of the world I came from, and I believe the car started in Hounslow, collected the food from Isleworth and delivered to us in Kew in half an hour flat, which by my reckoning is pretty damn good! The food was pretty good for a takeaway - I find it's never quite as good as when you're actually sitting in a restaurant - but all the same, it was tasty enough, without being MIchelin starred. Great service, thank you.

I ordered the food online from this restaurant for my birthday party but the food was delayed by nearly an hour considering the amount of money they charge for service and delivery . The food arrived very cold . That set off everyone’s mood as everyone was waiting for food . Some of the items were not up to the standard as well . I won’t be ordering again from this restaurant!

We got a takeaway from the Thai at the Bridge. The food was really tasty and good and it wasn’t to expensive. Food is ready quickly and staff are super friendly.

Couple times we have been there, I have to say that food is not all that. For my taste rather greasy unfortunately. Big selection on menu but as a family we decided against to return.

I have to disagree with the comment below. I have been using the Bridge Inn for years and their take-away and in-house service and food is fab

DONT ORDER YOUR LOCKDOWN TAKEAWAY HERE!! Absolutely awful food and daylight robbery when it comes to pricing. What a disgrace to the rest of your fellow Britons. Ordered from here to support the local economy but the food was so poor yet expensive. When we complained we got nothing but defensiveness and abuse from the establishment. Avoid at all costs!

Visiting Thai Bridge Inn for years - love this place. As a veggie they do some great tasty dishes and reasonably priced.

We had a takeout meal from this restaurant, as the location is just a few minutes away we decided to go and order. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. My wife complains about the portion. She ordered prawn tom-yum and she counted there were only 3 prawns. Overall, the food was decent. We will come back just because it is close to where we stay.

Ordered online, food didn't arrive. Tried to contact the restaurant both online and by telephone with no answer. Food eventually arrived so late we'd long since given up on it. We sent it back and still got charged for it.

I meet a friend for lunch every couple of months or so and have never been dissapointed. The manageress, Sue is helpful and you can see the food being freshly cooked. Great value for money. Definitely recommend.

I stopped here for a few beers whilst on my way home the staff were alright and the pub was clean and well presented as the pub is located both on a main through fare and next to a busy train station a little local for train passengers

We stayed overnight at the Bridge Inn on Saturday 6th April 2019. The Thai Restaurant is attached to the pub. Very agreeable surroundings with very tasty food at reasonable prices - recommended!

Authentic and delicious Thai food. Loved everything I have ever tried from the menu. It is a very basic restaurant at the side of the pub (which you have to walk through to get to) but you will always receive a warm welcome and a beautifully cooked meal. The prices are on the more expensive side for the atmosphere but well worth it for the food.

Very expensive for what you get in a very basic environment- used to be good vfm but no longer. You have to walk through bar which has a real downmarket trade. Lots of shouting and swearing. Quite intimidating and not suitable for families.

Really love that these guys are on Uber Eats now so I can get my Thai food fix delivered to my door when I cannot be bothered to step outside my house (we all have days like that don't we?). The chicken pad thai, the green curry and red curry are really tasty - nice amount of kick/spice without it being too mouth burning. I don't know what the restaurant/pub itself is like, but I can only comment on the takeway service and taste and I can say I would recommend. Good value for money too.

Don’t know how I have missed this living in the area for 20 years and not coming. Lovely friendly staff. Utterly clean kitchen, very fresh ingredients. A joy and local. What a result, delicious simple Thai food cooked well. I am going to make this a regular thing for sure.

Me and my family have been going to the Thai Restaurant for the past 20 years and just think its fab as somewhere easy and not fussy to eat. It located in the pub at the left hand side of the bar separated off by partition wall. We mostly pop in at lunch times for lunch and always find the food and service very good. Always know that I will get good food in here and think its good value for money food.

The restaurant is part of a hotel & pub. The service is very to the point without unnecessary chit chat. Food was lovely on both occasions we have visited and it's very reasonably priced.

Tanto como me gusta este lugar, los precios son bastante altos. Nos atendieron cuatro una noche y sólo me consume alcohol. Dos cervezas para ser exacto. Todo el mundo había dos refrescos cada uno en el transcurso de la noche. Para la comida, tenía una fuente para cuatro personas (pollo, rollitos de primavera, satays tostadas de gambas y otra hors d'oeuvre) y dos de pollo frito y arroces lubina. La cuenta fue de más de 90 libras, lo que me sorprendió bastante. Con toda honestidad, incluyendo bebidas no esperaba tener que pagar más de 60 libras. Bastante caro en mi opinión, teniendo en cuenta su entorno en el establecimiento. No los mejores pubs para ser honesto por lo tanto mi opinión sobre el precio.

Excelente comida, buena relación calidad-precio y un pub agradable ubicación. Está altamente recomendado por mí. Usted puede ser garantizada una cálida bienvenida. I know that I can come and eat Thai next door to my house when nothing is in the fridge. This is a down to earth family run restaurant within a pub. The food always tastes better in the restaurant than take away... but that is the case for any restaurant! No pretention.

Mi madre y yo decidimos venir para el almuerzo. Tuvimos el primer plato para 2 que partícipe sabía muy agradable. Entonces para los principales tuve el curry verde, que era preciosa y mi madre tenía el pato curry que también era bueno. Recomendaría cualquiera que vaya allí la comida es deliciosa y el servicio fue muy amable

WOW, great authentic tasty fresh Thai food. Small pub with the restaurant at the back. Great service too and will cater for your needs if you have any allergies or personal preferences. if you love Thai then don't go anywhere else.

Recommended the Bridge inn, they were not disappointed, loved the pub atmosphere and the Authenctic Thia restaurant within the pub itself, run by Thai's the food was amazing

No consulta la cantidad y nos dijeron que necesitaba pedir un plato de pescado entero para conseguir una mejor porción. Si no tienen suficiente pescado, deberían haber informarnos para pedir algo.

I visited the Bridge Inn Thai Restaurant on a friends recommendation. Initially on entering I was slightly unsure but once inside I was pleasantly suprised at the restaurant which was partitioned to one side of the Inn. We were promptly and warmly greeted. The atmosphere was peaceful but the most important thing was the menu. The food was quickly and freshly prepared in what I could see to be a very clean kitchen. The quality of the food can only be described as excellent! The only issue we had was difficulty in choosing our dishes as everything looked so good. There is a wide variety of dishes both meat and vegetarian which are very reasonably priced.

I don't know why some reviews have been mixed on the pub. It has a great atmosphere and is full of pleasant local Londoners. Food is really good.

Really delicious Thai food in a restaurant within an often busy locals pub. The restaurant is slightly lacking in atmosphere but the food was full of flavour and more than made up for that. yummy spring roll starters followed by the pad thai rice dish which was sooo flavoursome. Waitresses were very friendly and efficient even when the restaurant was fully packed. Worth trying out. Also do takeaways but this works out pricey. Ps. If paying with credit card expect to pay a small extra fee of 50p irrespective of money spent on the bill. Overall recommended!

Quiet on a Thursday evening which was great for the 5 of us as we wanted to talk and catch up. We had a vegetarian, prawn and chicken dish between us. Lovely.

Dined a couple of weeks ago and was truly disappointed.Waitress took order for food and drinks. I asked for glass of wine (large) as husband only wanted a small beer as he was driving. When drink appeared,I took a sip of wine and found it appalling - had a bitter aftertaste. Asked waitress to change it but she first asked whether I had drunk any if so then it could not be replaced !! Asked whether the bottle had been opened earlier in the week. She appeared nervous but went to the bar as was told that it was a freshly opened bottle but if I didn't like the wine I could order another glass of something else but would also have to pay for this as well.Will not visit again. Waitresses scruffy and unhelpful, uncaring. Used to be a well run establishment with Thai waitresses dressed in national costumes with good service. Very expensive for a tired, formica tabled eaterie..

Good selection of authentically well cooked Thai food, excellent satay and green curry. Friendly efficient service - the only downside is that the restaurant itself is set in a corner of a unprepossessing pub on a busy main road, which slightly detracts from the dining experience.

Really good food, been to some very upmarket Thai places, but this place consistently delivers great food. Keep on going back! Prices going up a bit now and the pub is a bit, err, well.......hmmm! Otherwise, it would have been a five.

Came here with my family (4 adults, 1 baby, 1 toddler) recently and as usual the food was good. My mum wanted something from the evening menu which wasn't available at lunch and after the waitress saying they couldn't provide it, she came back 5 mins later saying that they could, so we were very pleased! The issues we had were about the restaurant and the service. Firstly there was no access to the bar or restaurant with a pram. Staff behind the bar didn't offer any assistance whatsoever despite seeing is struggling. Nice. Then there were no highchairs or even a cushion for my niece to sit on, no options or help given - very much a 'like it or lump it' attitude. When we were about to leave, the staff decided to start frying chillies and full the restaurant with burning smoke making us all choke. Had to evacuate pretty quickly as we had young children with us. Restaurant itself is extremely tired looking, the only saving grace is that the food is good.Would only return here for a takeaway in future.

Authentic Thai food? I am a bit biased; as I have spent some time in Thailand and know very well what Thai food should taste. But, if you are in West London , or happening to be passing by, or maybe live there; more specifically; London Road TW7 Isleworth, West London, this would be your best bet for a taste of the original near to home! Believe it or not; I have been visiting this quaint restaurant for more than a decade!I felt only today to share my views. Why? Firstly, Because today, to celebrate my son's employment success, we went for a dinner there. Afterwards, I gave some further thoughts and I realized how these establishments are keeping the British heritage alive; heritage of multiculturalism, and I just happen to realize it today, and wanted to share.Set at the back of a very traditional English Pub in a picturesque corner of West London traditional English Local pub ( unfortunately, a rare and endangered species nowadays!). The pub is more for the locals; but the food at their Thai Restaurant can be for the the world!Authentic Thai cuisine, Prices; about from min £5/person to a max of £10/person. A 3 course meal; soup, starters and mains would not be more than £10/pp.Drinks extra! The good deal is; Have a word with the head chef Sue!. if you don't like the menu, tell Sue what you would like and she will make "TO Order" at No Extra Cost! What more can you ask?This is what liked most about " Thai at Bridge Inn" You Just ask!Plenty of parking space nearby after 6pm .

The first weekend we moved into the area, we noticed this pub offering Thai 'authentic' food.So on a Friday night we ordered food to pick up and take away. We had a shared starter of spring rolls and other finger food, but for the price we paid in total, we have to say the portions are really small. And the flavours were not great.Despite the staff probably come from Thailand, we have tried much better thai food for much less than what we paid on that evening.Never visited the place again but probably won't.Didn't try the 'pub' side of it, the restaurant bit was quite busy on the Friday night we picked our food, but the pub wasn't.

Been going to this restaurant for 15 years, never had a bad experience. Food is first rate and the staff are always happy to accommodate changes to the menu should it be required.

Visited one night whilst staying at local hotel.Good choice of food on menu. Also offer a very reasonably priced set menu for two which includes a bottle of wine.Drinks fairly priced and waited on by friendly pleasant member of staff.Well worth a visit

The Thai restaurant in the Bridge Inn, Isleworth is practically an institution. I went back there for a meal recently for the first time in about ten years (having moved out of the area a long time ago) and found that the food and the service is just as good as I remembered it. The food is beautifully prepared by a chef who clearly knows how to create great Thai food and the staff are knowledgeable about what they're serving up and very welcoming and friendly.This place really stands out from the generic restaurants which are just about everywhere these days, and is well worth a visit.

Three of us went for an early evening meal after a long, hard day at a nearby hospital. We didn't know restaurants in the area and the Tripadvisor reviews were promising and turned out to be well deserved.We went as they were opening for dinner and although they apologised that the food was just being cooked and would take a little time, it all appeared in under ten minutes. Our three dishes were very tasty. The individual flavours stood out and were not just a mix as so often happens. Unlike many Thai restaurants the dishes were not too sweet. A mild, chicken and coconut soup had an exquisite lemongrass flavour. A slightly sweet, spicy red duck curry special was also very tasty with reasonable amounts of duck and an intriguing mix of fruits and a prawn pad thai was tasty, well cooked and satisfying. The ready made desserts were fine too (we didn't try their home-made ones but will next time).Service was excellent and attentive. There is no fancy decor, no pretty table decorations and instead of admiring the visual presentation and not the food we enjoyed the food and the basic simplicity. That means that the money you pay goes into the service and the food and it's well worth it. For three of us without drinks, the bill came to around £35.Although it's in a pub, it's partly screened from the main bar areas and noise levels were not intrusive so we were able to talk comfortably.We will definitely go again and try some of the other dishes.

Certainly one of the better restaurants in an area with little choice - good food, friendly service at excellent value for money. Unpretentious restaurant in a pub, so do not be put off, as the food and service make up for it, and at very reasonable prices. Certainly recommended.

Went here recently for a lunch with work colleagues and we had a great time. Food was very good, the spicy dishes had the perfect amount of hot, and the portions were good. Between 4 of us we split 4 dishes and the amount of food was perfect. We also had spring rolls as a starter, which were okay but a bit on the small side.Overall, food is fresh and tasty, prices are right, and the service is very nice. We will be back!

We are just back from a meal here after discovering it here on Tripadvisor. Don't be put off by having to go in through the pub, this is as good a Thai as we have been in in the UK.Great service, freshly cooked excellent food and small enough for great service. Highly recommended.

We having been going to this restaurant for over 10 years mainly because of the fresh, tastily and authentic Thai food and secondly because local atmosphere and price. There was a period when the food wasn't as good but on our last visit I'm happy to say they are back to their exceptional standards. This place is better than Thai Square in terms of the quality of food.

We used to live in Isleworth and were regular visitors to The bridge. This was only for the Thai restaurant contained within The Bridge pub on the London road, just beneath Isleworth main line train station. Since leaving the area 7 years ago we have not been back so on a recent weekend trip to central London, we decided to head out and see if it was still operating. What great news it was so we turned up and ordered from their selctions of dishes all of which can be made with chicken, prawn or beef. They also do a selction of fish dishes too all of which are recommended. Your drinks are bought to you from the pub so you are not restricted on choice. You end up leaving with lip tingling sensations which are just wonderful. The service is from wonderful Thai ladies who are welcoming and friendly. We were so pleased that out little piece of Thailand was still there and still serving wonderful authentic thai food. Next time we will not leave it so long!
