Taste of Pakistan in Hounslow

We thought we would try the restaurant out.l, due to the publicity on YouTube. Well what can we say, it was poor, the food was pathetic and it certainly wasn’t a taste of Pakistan. The Khari Chicken was pathetic, kebabs full of haldi, nan and roti tasted like baked bread and the sauces should taste refreshing- it was all rubbish

I've been coming here for years now and I'm still just as happy as I was when I first came. From the moment you walk into Taste of Pakistan you feel at home. The staff are friendly and top notch. I can unequivocally say this is possibly the best restaurant I have eaten in the UK. This is by no means an exaggeration - the fresh and wholesome deliciously cooked food, coupled with the attentive, professional and endearing Owner, Naseer makes this restaurant's ambience feel so inviting and relaxing. And that's why I keep going back.

Excellent food and service. They have mostly female waitresses which is great for families now. Freshly made Karahi’s and amazing kebabs and BBQ especially lamb chops and Afghani tikka. Thank you Taste of Pakistan.. I visited after watching Latif inspired on You tube. I totally agree with everything he said and recommend. Will be bank soon

We ordered our New Years Take out today and loved it. We arrived at 17:45 and saw at least 20 members of staff working flat out. I asked if I could meet the owner as I wanted to congratulate him on the stand he was taking against fake/lying reviews. Sadly he wasn’t there so I never got a selfie opportunity. Happy New Year to everyone at TOP.

I went there yesterday.Every dish was amazing.Service was quick.Portions were large as mention on menu card.But they need improvement on their plates.spoons,jugs and glasses.They were dirty and I cleaned it with napkins.Then I put my food on my plate.The owner needs to ask the staff to clean plates and everything properly.

Very busy, but worth the food, got to go again

I went there with 2 of my friends and 2 years old boy,All we did just told the owner nicely about how we felt about one of the dish we ordered without insulting or raising our voice. but that Narcissist person Lost his plot straight away , couldn’t take that comment from us,Start using F* get out of my restaurant never come to hounslow again,Bring your husbands,He used multiple times F* word and threatened us with his aggressive and abusive behaviour inside and outside the restaurant. Allah knows we never disrespect him or used any other word to make him hyper but i believe he got some serious anger issues, All i can say one day Allah will make you pay for all that, inshaAllah

Amazing food 😋 especially the lamb chops (must try ) lamb charsi karahi and chapli kebab , chicken charsi karahi was good but the star of the show is the lamb 😋 unfortunately this place is a 2 hour journey from s wales . Also loved the service the owner was very welcoming and took time out to speak to everyone the hospitality of the pakistani brother really showed ❤️

Verbally abused by the owner of Taste of Pakistan in Hounslow ! … Unbelievably awful experience ! Because we queried with the owner the price of the chicken Karahi we had ordered, he went on to verbally abuse us inside the restaurant telling us to f*ck off out of his restaurant, don’t f*cking come back, go get your f*cking husbands to come down here and see me and then he continued his rant of abuse outside the restaurant on the street as we were walking away. Never ever have I been subjected to or spoken to in such a vile manner whilst eating out, especially not by the owner of a restaurant. There’s no customer service course in the world that can help this guy. Thought he could bully 3 women as no husbands there ! This incident occurred in front of all the other guests but he did not care who was watching him swear at and verbally abuse 3 women and a young child. It’s amazing how people can own and run businesses treating their customers in such a vile and unacceptable way. I can’t imagine how he treats his staff if that’s how he treats his customers. It’s a shame because the food was nice but unfortunately the worst eating out experience I’ve ever had in 40 years due to this man’s behaviour and I would highly recommend not to go there

First time eating from here after many people spoke about the food and must admit it was one of the best meals I’ve eaten. Flavourful, good portions and overall a very tasty meal. Highly recommend the restaurant for those who’ve not visited, you definitely get your moneys worth and the quality is very good. Thanks.

The food was 10/10, service was 10/10. I could tell the food was made fresh to order and was served within a very reasonable timeframe too. The mixed grills, karahis and whole chicken were made with perfection. Complementary tea & almonds were offered after our meal which was a really nice touch. You must visit TOP if you enjoy eating authentic Pakistani cuisine. Be sure to book a table in advance as they can get really busy.

Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The standout was definitely the Chapli kebabs, which were cooked to perfection! Malika (I think that was her name, she wore butterfly earrings) served us and had lovely customer service. From the moment we were seated, her energy and enthusiasm were contagious. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm, personable attitude! Amazing food and outstanding service!! Highly recommend!!

We came here as a group of 4 on a Saturday night and it was completely packed out, so make sure you book ahead! There are no frills, just excellent, authentic food. The chapli kebabs are the best I’ve had. Thanks to the team for looking after us and for the complimentary teas!

I had been here before and it was fantastic but my recent trip was utter disaster. I ordered barbecue, Chapli kebab and mutton Karahi and nothing tasted like before. Even got a piece of glass from kebab. It was my last trip and a sad end to a place which I used to love to go at least once every year.

Delicious food as usual. We ordered chicken charsi karahi, Chapli kebab & mix sizzler grill. Our children also loved everything. The owner and his staff are very friendly & treat their customers like family. Thank you again and see you soon in sha Allah. Naveed

The food was okay. But the whole restaurant was so cold. We complained to managers numerous times to put the heating on.. we couldn't enjoy the food my 6 year old daughter could not eat due to the cold. We would have moved on but we ordered the food and we travelled put of town. Update: we were bot offered the family section. Even after complaining.

The food here is delicious. Very good and flavourful. Restaurant is quite big but always packed from everyone trying to get this food. One thing they could upgrade is the parking as whenever my family comes we struggle to find any. Overall lovely food, but some improvements could be made

Brillaint!! Very pure Pakistani cuisine. Highly recommended. You must try it. Be warned they are extremely busy and fully packed. Have to wait a bit but it's worth it.

Name is Ayman , and taste of Pakistan is next door to me , like 2 minutes away and I have sat twice me and my brother baldy guys with a beard at the restaurant few times and never lets me down, owner cool guy , takes his business serious and I'm not even Pakistani , I'm Egyptian and treats us with respect and the workers are funny and if you give them respect they will too , it's simple , I came today and ordered takeaway like an hour ago and the food was utter amazing man , nice and hot , the guys working there are cool , and my mum even loved it so for me that's a big bonus but mashallah keep doing what your doing , bun haters !! , but wallah the food was good man , very tasty mashallah 🙌🙌

1st thing 1st The boss says I’m not from Afghanistan I’m from Pakistan, so I have no idea about the rice!! Well then my friend you should take it out from the Menu. If you don’t know about it.. They served us very old rice. Perhaps a week old rice. And the kebab let’s not talk about that. We even complain about food and no one take us serious. We pay for food we don’t get it for free. They way the served us like they were doing some kids of charity and giving us food for free.

Customer service is not at a high standard. I ordered chicken biryani 3 portion but they put no chicken inside the biryani. It was only rice. This is not good maybe i think this resturant is veg only. They also speak in another language not urdu, i dont think they are from "Pakistan" only using the name. They are speaking in afghani language.

After hearing about TOP I had to try. Food is the best! I live far away from the restaurant but ordered through Uber Eats. It was the best Chapli kebab and naan I have had. I loved the Charsi Karahi. Thanks so much team TOP 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰

Worst experience, will never visit again, don’t waste your money to go there, and cash only was another surprise for me. Pakistani GT road hotels are more clean then this dirty place.

As a proud Pakistani this food leaves a lot to be desired. Owner should get his taste buds checked, not sure what food he is tasting. You want best Lamb Charsi Karahi, Chapli Kebabs, Lamb Tikka, Kabul Pilao.. just go to Taste of Pakistan. Been visiting this place for years and years and taste has always been the same. Must say they do the best Karahi you can find in UK. Owner is a gentleman, who would come up to you and ask you if everything is nice and would always offer you Kava at the end which is an amazing gesture. The only downside is, this place is always busy so you should book a table well in advance, but understandably though, everyone loves Good food.

Recently visited Pak Taste of Pakistan, excited to try authentic cuisine. Unfortunately, the owner's behavior left a sour taste. Despite our long journey, he refused service, citing inability to accommodate. When I politely asked to converse in Pashto, he brushed me off, ignoring Pushtowali traditions. Disheartened by the disregard for cultural courtesy. Service and attitude fell short of expectations. Would not recommend.

What my man failed to understand is not about food, its about courtesy, which apparently you have forgotten. Even if you had just said 'I'm sorry brother, but we are fully booked' IN PHUSTU, that would have been enough for me but you just blew me in the air refusing to even speak our mother language. That not only for me but (im confident) for the whole phustun community is an immoral and unacceptable behaviour. You are the first phathan that refused to speak phustu with his phathan brother. You speak about booking table, we tried calling multiple times but nobody picks up and when enquired, your staff mentioned that they do not pick calls after 12 noon. How on earth would any body know that. Not even you ever mnetioned this in your videos.

Revisited after approx 5 years with the extended family. The place looked really busy and had a great atmosphere but the food was disappointing. Either it's become a victim of its own success or we had a bad experience.the waiters standing around chatting between themselves rather than attending to customers. It's a real shame because when I last had a meal here the place seemed genuine and the food was nice. Now they just want to see money rather than satisfied customers Editing this review as I can't work out how to reply to the owners childish feedback really shows the level Big Khan asked how the food was I gave an honest answer that it was passable guzara . Shaking is something that is like an illness you must be thinking that I am afraid perhaps you should look at your attitude saying we have enough customers not to worry about one in which why even respond . Perfect restaurant! The food was delicious especially the Karachi and kebabs. The atmosphere was amazing. A simple yet effective design. The aroma of food as you wait is also good 😂. And for the service, food came within 10 minutes and the owner was very kind. I don’t get why some people are giving one star reviews. Maybe because they aren’t used to authentic Pakistani food? Also the restaurant was hygienic. I don’t get why people were trashing?

Ordered food via Uber. Food never got delivered called taste of Pakistan. The guy is the phone saying it’s not my problem hung up the phone saying his name is Ali . Called again other guy picked up told him everything he said he will come back. Other lady called back saying your food is delivered which is not. Rude again hung up the phone. I placed a large food order for collection yesterday and the staff from the very start were very kind and courteous. Once the food was ready, they helped carry it to the car. The food itself was very well packed and absolutely delicious. I ordered the charsi karahi (lamb & chicken), Biriyani and of course the Chapli kebab. All 10/10. Thank you TOTP.

Such a fun, authentic experience, super welcoming service and incredibly delicious food. One of the best food experiences in London, couldn't recommend it higher!

Very busy but still made the effort

I was brought here by a friend today and was my first time trying. We're both real foodies and I have to say, the food was 🔥🔥🔥. Bursting with flavour in wvery bite and perfect balance of spice. Absolutely delicious! Good sized portions and great value for money. The staff were super attentive, welcoming and friendly and took our order as soon as we sat down. I briefly seen the owner upon leaving and I can see how his tendencies reflects in his staff. A proper gent. I couldnt ask for a better service. I highly recommend this place and will be going back with the family, very soon. 10/10.

I hope they address the seating area; although the food is great, the tables and chairs resemble a school cafeteria, making it difficult to distinguish staff from customers. But I most definitely recommend them for their chapplei kebabs and charsi karahi

We had charsi lamb karahi and chapli kebab with large nann. We were not disappointed. Service levels are good. The owner always takes time to meet and greet.

Today on 11/10/2024, I went there with family. And more than half food I just left on table with very good smile to tiktok star. Staff was even shocked to hear why would i not get food for takeaway which was left more than half. Even staff never cared when I said food was really bad in taste. Its just taste of black pepper on each item almost apart from chicken wings and afghani both. My bill came like 77 or 78 something like paid £80.00 cash. Noone ever bring change back. My order was Chicken wings, Chapli kebab, afghani boti, 2 kebabs, lamb charsi karahi half and chicken sindhi biryani. It's just hype I think for me to go there. It was my last time to visit this place. Please don't reply to me as owner of restaurant it should be shame for you to laugh at people that really don't like your food.. Thanks for hosting us.

Mashallah, we visited Taste of Pakistan from Birmingham. The service was excellent the food taste was beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting Taste of Pakistan and I would like to thank my childhood friend Nasir for the hospitality and may Allah give you more barakah than you can handle.

My second time at this restaurant all the way from Chicago. Food is best I’ve ever had outside Pakistan and I’ve been to 52 countries. Nice and clean establishment and the servers were quick and super nice. Got a chance to speak to the owner directly and he was just a gentleman! Sent us a chapli kebab on the house that was off the chain! Highly recommend this outstanding restaurant!!

They are best in Fresh Karahi but On our last visit the Cheif forgot to add salt In Karahi, but Onwer Mr Khan same to us and apologise plus fixed the taste but We have to take away the portion!!

Very unimpressed with what I saw. I had high expectations after reading reviews online. What I saw would shock people I saw the owner washing his feet in the sink that is used to wash the plates. AVOID!!!

No doubt there is an abundance of dishes to try. Food is good and the best part is staff. Chapli kebabs are my favorite and hmm rest was not bad either. Just need improvement in sitting area.

Best Authentic Pakistani Restaurant in the UK. Been to every Pakistani restaurant in Slough, South Hall, Tooting etc but TOP 🇵🇰 is number one on my list. The naan, Chapli Kebab and Chicken Karahi is straight 10/10. Loved the food soo much that I’m still craving for it now. Also the owner was very nice visiting every tables talking to costumers which I really appreciated as I tend to see less of this in other restaurants. Great food, hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. Hope to visit again Inshallah.

One of the best place in London for traditional Pakistani food

Tastes like the sufi restaurant's chapli kebabs in peshawar mor Islamabad in the 80s and 90s. Very delicious food. Service and ambiance can improve significantly. The restaurant is busy and we pray that it is blessed even more. However, typical of desi restaurants in London, the staff are polite but untrained. The toilets are dirty. The seating area unkept, randomly decorated and tiered. Paying attention to this can take the place to the next level. Clearly the place has a good turnover but very little is being reinvested in the place. Lastly, nothing takes away from the fact that this is a fantastic Pathan / Afghan / Pashton food joint and a heaven for kebab and karahi lovers.
