Being new to the area I was recommended this place by a work colleague. I have travelled the world and enjoyed Chapli kebab even in the NWFP made by the people whose delicacy this is. I arrived at Taste of Pakistan and after some confusion around me being and Uber / Deliveroo / Just Eat driver ( i was in motorcycle kit carrying a helmet) I was directed to someone to seat me. I was asked if I had a reservation and I said no. At this point he took a sharp intake of breath, shook his head and began to tut. Whilst I appreciate it was fast opening time I have dined at some of the most salubrious establishments London has to offer and I was taken aback by this response. I'm sure if Prince Naz had turned up unannounced or maybe Kier Starmer it wouldn't have been an issue. I promptly fired back that should he be unable to find me a seat i'd happily go back to Khan Karahi (Hounslow West) as they have no problem with the colour of my money. Ironically i was promptly seated at a single table. I believe the tall guy with the beard and shaved head is the gaffer and saw beyond my motorcycle kit and moved a chair next to where I was sat and even began to sweep up besides me. This shows brilliant leadership, loved it. I ordered a chapli kebab, one roti and a can of 7 up. Despite the place being busy the kebab arrived soon enough although looking a little darker than I expected. The roti then followed. There is an old english saying, never judge a book by its cover. The taste and texture of the chapli kebab were amazing. Again there is no need to complicate anything with excessive bits and pieces. The salad was simple and the chutney unnecessary to enable the taste of the kebab to shine through. Gen Z and Millenials will be happy with whatever is put in front of them. The old school Pakistani people know what authentic tastes like and they don't need to TikTok it. This kebab was one of the best i've ever had. Taste of Pakistan has now left me with a major dilemma. The meal was good and having found somewhere nearby that make a chapli kebab to the same level i am now torn between where do I go to enjoy my chapli kebabs in the future. If you want something special and don't want to fly to Afghanistan / Peshawar then this is the place to visit but be aware they don't take card so its cash only or a bank transfer.

Alhumdhulilah . Table was ready for me and my family for iftar. Food was great. Owner was very respectful and a good host. Even the waiters would attend straight away if anything needed. 6 stars for service and quality of food without a doubt. Thank you

I went even afterwards but can't update review, now today we were like more than dozens friends and colleagues, food was better, especially chicken karahi, Grill was given after Karahi so didn't enjoy as it should be given earlier and grill didn't taste good even but chicken karahi and lamb ones were perfect. Naan a bit hard, a crispy like which doesn't look good with karahi. Mango lassi was great and at the end a fine qehwa with sweet almonds, wow. Manager visited each table personally to ask, that's a good thing. Atleast better than wattan in Southall. Previous visit: was an enjoyable experience, The manager was friendly, Food made a bit of trouble in my stomach but maybe I ate too much lol(not much), The chicken wasn't cleaned properly (feathers)

Taste of Pakistan in Hounslow delivers authentic Peshawari street food flavors with a traditional touch. I tried their Chapli kebabs, which were delicious, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. However, they were slightly dry, so I’d rate them 8/10. Their Sindhi biryani had an amazing taste, but the presence of many broken chicken bones made it difficult to fully enjoy. I’d rate it 7/10. The staff were very cooperative and friendly, adding to the overall experience. To end the meal, they served us green tea (Kawa) and sweet almonds as a complimentary treat, which was a lovely touch Overall, Taste of Pakistan offers a great selection of traditional dishes that truly capture the essence of Pakistani cuisine.

We found this place after watching a YouTube video of Latif Inspired. We came all the way from Walton on Thames. We ordered the Chapli kebab and mixed grill platter with the large Naan. The food was delicious and worth the drive. The Chapli was so moist and perfectly spiced. The platter was amazing. Naan was so soft. This will definitely go on our frequent places to visit. It is a pity that Uber does not deliver to our area.

The service is attentive and our waitress tried really hard. Repeated the order to make sure it was correct. The staff are really nice and want to please you. The food arrived in her promised 15 minutes. Lamb chops quite skinny so did not need to be incinerated. Chicken Karahi was good and a large portion for 1/4 size. Lovely gravy and not not too spicy. Tandoori Roti arrived hot and they use a nice brown flour. Little salad served when you arrive and it was a nice complimentary touch. The chapli kebab i saw looked top class. The owners need to clean this place up a bit. Very tired walls and paint peeling off doors. The toilets were wet and not so hygienic. Not good enough in 2025. Now the caution part. Don't wear your smart clothes or your best suit. The cooking aroma inside is intense. You will surely need a thorough shower and ALL your clothes in the washing machine. This would put me off a repeat visit or wait till summer and sit outside.

Food was rank not cooked how Pakistani food should be gave a lamb karahi which just had meat put in and not cooked with the curry. Lamb chops tasted dead biriyani taste worse than southall £3 one . Brought out mains before starters then when I asked where are starters they said oh you want starters first lol

Pathetic experience i took oder on call for take away and special gave instructions for the extra gravy but when we open at home it was totally dry lamb and dry chicken without gravy disappointed even specially gave instructions. And next day stomach problem vomits.

A wonderful representation of Pakistani food and culture. Food was wonderful, all dishes were perfectly seasoned and spiced - particular highlights were the Chapli kebab and the Karahi- so so good. But what made it stand out was the service - the owner clearly has deep passion for the food, the service, his staff and that was evident through the whole experience. Cannot recommend enough!!

Two Egyptian bald brothers are back , my brother dropped a review and I must too , I ordered few hours back take way , as usual for like the 10th time , food is banging , the server was helpful , two guys behind the counter , proper helpful and the owner mashallah takes his business serious and said Salam to myself and brother and checked multiple times if we been served , allow the hate , because you see a guy successfully doing well, eat and enjoy , say mashallah.. thank you to your team and yourself as always .. 🙌

They used to be good but now food taste is not good at all, Lamb karahi was just ok rest everything was below average, Kabli Pulao was full of oil, mixed grill was tasteless and hard. Will not visit again.

Filthy so called restaurant, very greasy. Can not taste anything. Karahi meat is pre boiled probably 3-4 days ago, chapli kabab full of onions,green chillies with very poor quality mince meat. Would strongly advise NO ONE TO WASTE THEIR MONEY AT THIS FLITHY TASTE OF PAKISTAN.

We had Chapli Kebab, Chicken Karahi and Naan this afternoon and it was amazing. I must say they server one of the best Pakitani dishes in the United Kingdom

Food is brilliant atmosphere bit on the down side

The food at Taste of Pakistan is delicious, especially the Chapli Kebabs, which have an authentic flavor. The staff is very supportive and welcoming. However, the Kebabs are too spicy for some people, including children—it would be great to offer both spicy and non-spicy options. Additionally, the restaurant lacks proper family spaces. Adding a private area for families would enhance the dining experience.

Overall it's very good, decent mixed grills and curries. The portions are generous so you'll certainly leave with full stomach. Certainly one of the best in London, they get busy so book table or go during lunchtime in the week where it's more quiet and relaxing.

The place truly lives up to its hype. The food is really good; it's pretty close to authentic Pakistani cuisine. We ordered the charsi lamb and chicken karhai, and both were bangers. The lamb seekh kebabs were also delicious, but the star of the menu is definitely the chapli kebabs- very juicy and cooked perfectly. If you love South Asian food, this place in Hounslow is a MUST VISIT. However, the ambiance is a bit meh, and the biryani doesn't have potatoes- as a Karachiiite, i was disappointed, lol. Still, 10 on 10 recommended!

We thought we would try the restaurant out.l, due to the publicity on YouTube. Well what can we say, it was poor, the food was pathetic and it certainly wasn’t a taste of Pakistan. The Khari Chicken was pathetic, kebabs full of haldi, nan and roti tasted like baked bread and the sauces should taste refreshing- it was all rubbish

I've been coming here for years now and I'm still just as happy as I was when I first came. From the moment you walk into Taste of Pakistan you feel at home. The staff are friendly and top notch. I can unequivocally say this is possibly the best restaurant I have eaten in the UK. This is by no means an exaggeration - the fresh and wholesome deliciously cooked food, coupled with the attentive, professional and endearing Owner, Naseer makes this restaurant's ambience feel so inviting and relaxing. And that's why I keep going back.

We ordered our New Years Take out today and loved it. We arrived at 17:45 and saw at least 20 members of staff working flat out. I asked if I could meet the owner as I wanted to congratulate him on the stand he was taking against fake/lying reviews. Sadly he wasn’t there so I never got a selfie opportunity. Happy New Year to everyone at TOP. Quick update. I finally met the owner on 4th January when having my birthday meal with the family. Lovely man.

Excellent food and service. They have mostly female waitresses which is great for families now. Freshly made Karahi’s and amazing kebabs and BBQ especially lamb chops and Afghani tikka. Food was nice as you would expect from a restaurant serving Pakistani / Peshawari food, nothing out of ordinary so not sure what the hype is all about. Service needs improvement as its overcrowded and staff seemed overworked and stretched to limits, lacked basic training on restaurant etiquettes. You can expect your starters to arrive after the main course (like we had), not unusual for desi places to deal like this! And yes its cash only place or bank transfer. No cards accepted

I went there yesterday.Every dish was amazing.Service was quick.Portions were large as mention on menu card.But they need improvement on their plates.spoons,jugs and glasses.They were dirty and I cleaned it with napkins.Then I put my food on my plate.The owner needs to ask the staff to clean plates and everything properly.

I went there with 2 of my friends and 2 years old boy,All we did just told the owner nicely about how we felt about one of the dish we ordered without insulting or raising our voice. but that Narcissist person Lost his plot straight away , couldn’t take that comment from us,Start using F* get out of my restaurant never come to hounslow again,Bring your husbands,He used multiple times F* word and threatened us with his aggressive and abusive behaviour inside and outside the restaurant. Allah knows we never disrespect him or used any other word to make him hyper but i believe he got some serious anger issues, All i can say one day Allah will make you pay for all that, inshaAllah

Verbally abused by the owner of Taste of Pakistan in Hounslow ! … Unbelievably awful experience ! Because we queried with the owner the price of the chicken Karahi we had ordered, he went on to verbally abuse us inside the restaurant telling us to f*ck off out of his restaurant, don’t f*cking come back, go get your f*cking husbands to come down here and see me and then he continued his rant of abuse outside the restaurant on the street as we were walking away. Never ever have I been subjected to or spoken to in such a vile manner whilst eating out, especially not by the owner of a restaurant. There’s no customer service course in the world that can help this guy. Thought he could bully 3 women as no husbands there ! This incident occurred in front of all the other guests but he did not care who was watching him swear at and verbally abuse 3 women and a young child. It’s amazing how people can own and run businesses treating their customers in such a vile and unacceptable way. I can’t imagine how he treats his staff if that’s how he treats his customers. It’s a shame because the food was nice but unfortunately the worst eating out experience I’ve ever had in 40 years due to this man’s behaviour and I would highly recommend not to go there

First time eating from here after many people spoke about the food and must admit it was one of the best meals I’ve eaten. Flavourful, good portions and overall a very tasty meal. Highly recommend the restaurant for those who’ve not visited, you definitely get your moneys worth and the quality is very good. Thanks.

The food was 10/10, service was 10/10. I could tell the food was made fresh to order and was served within a very reasonable timeframe too. The mixed grills, karahis and whole chicken were made with perfection. Complementary tea & almonds were offered after our meal which was a really nice touch. You must visit TOP if you enjoy eating authentic Pakistani cuisine. Be sure to book a table in advance as they can get really busy.

Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The standout was definitely the Chapli kebabs, which were cooked to perfection! Malika (I think that was her name, she wore butterfly earrings) served us and had lovely customer service. From the moment we were seated, her energy and enthusiasm were contagious. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a warm, personable attitude! Amazing food and outstanding service!! Highly recommend!!

I had been here before and it was fantastic but my recent trip was utter disaster. I ordered barbecue, Chapli kebab and mutton Karahi and nothing tasted like before. Even got a piece of glass from kebab. It was my last trip and a sad end to a place which I used to love to go at least once every year.

The food was okay. But the whole restaurant was so cold. We complained to managers numerous times to put the heating on.. we couldn't enjoy the food my 6 year old daughter could not eat due to the cold. We would have moved on but we ordered the food and we travelled put of town. Update: we were bot offered the family section. Even after complaining.
