Thyme in Hounslow

Staying here overnight, beautiful meal, then Sonny the chef wandered out enquiring if our meal was up to standard - nice touch, then the lady who seemed to be in charge gave my wife some chocolates, just as she 'looked like a nice person'. Made us feel special and sent us off to bed feeling fantastic about ourselves. Thanks to all!

Lovely welcoming restaurant with very attentive service. Good pub grub and drinks. Our chef Sunny came out to check we were happy with our meal and our waitress Deepti was very kind and assured we were well looked after.

As we were staying at Premier Inn for one night before our flight and as it was a late afternoon flight we had breakfast at Thyme. The breakfast choice was good, but could be a little better in regards to the lack of choice of pastries. We paid for the all inclusive and had both hot and cold food items, and you had unlimited tea and coffee. If we stay again for a flight we would happily eat breakfast again here. The staff here are polite and friendly.

Very helpful, friendly and attentive staff. All 3 of us enjoyed our curries and tiramisu (good portions!) Great deal of 2 course dinner, a drink, breakfast for £26.99! Staff are obviously well trained and keen to do their best. Chef Sunny came out of the kitchen to check we were satisfied with our meal, and our waiter Bikas was excellent too. Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous… Joylon was most attentive and super quick without being rushed. Highly recommend the chicken makhani and ask for extra chillies. Also the warm sticky toffee pudding… oh my days…to die for we shared 5 piri chicken wings and the pudding.. was plenty on the meal-deal.. I would come back with out the holiday the next day

She was good at table stuff laugh with me on Wednesday with my Nan in a wheelchair made the clouds go away and brightened up my day she was like bolt the worlds fastest man with service but the food was good

We visited for dinner even though we weren’t staying at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and the menu was varied with lots of choice. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Better value than the hotel we stayed in who seemed to think £36 for a steak was acceptable! Thank you for making us so welcome. Next time we will stay with you :)

We had a great experience the waitress was Navneet, she was helpful all the time. She was always with a smile and that make the customer feel happy. Food was delicious too.

We stayed for 4 nights at premier inn and ate breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. The service provided was absolutely exceptional. The staff were amazing. Very helpful, friendly and professional and prompt with service. I can not rate this place enough. Every staff member we met went above and beyond The food was about a 4 star but we kept coming back due to the service. Would highly recommend anyone staying here to eat at the restaurant.

We ate at the restaurant while staying in the premier inn. We were seated promptly and very quickly placed our order. Our starters arrived, prawn cocktail which was good with a reasonable amount of prawns. There was no time before our main arrived. My main of chargrilled chicken was somewhat over cooked but ok. We had noticed by this point our server was on a mission to serve us a super fast speed. Even with dessert we were done in an hour. The most disappointing point happened when the bill arrived and we saw we were charged £6.75 for a pint of Guinness! Next time it will be the McDonald’s just along the road!

I had booked us a table for two in the restaurant for 7pm thinking that the restaurant would be busy this was not the case with only 50 percent of tables taken. We was shown to our table by a nice welcoming gentleman who gave us our menus and stated that our waiter would be along shortly. We ordered a starter and our main course the starter arrived very promptly no problem here, but shortly after was amased to see the waiter back at our table with two main courses in his hands my wife had not even finished her starter, feeling under pressure she left the remain of her starter. Jokingly I said to her we better get this eaten quickly. Main causes eaten and I must say at this point there was no complaints about the food. At the time of clearing our main courses our waiter asked if we wished for desert and we chose not to. Barely had a minuite passed and the bill was put on the table at this point half bottle of wine remained and we was hoping to just chill and finish the wine. Our waiter had a different idea as he returned to the table with the card reader for us to pay at this point enough was enough and I questioned about the whole rushed experience and his response was you don't have pay now if you want to wait. We left the restaurant about 1 hour after arriving very dissapointed and certainly not feeling like we had a nice meal out. Can I just say the restaurant at 8pm was no busier than it was at 7pm and we noted that others had been and gone in the time we sat there

Located at Premier Inn T4, had dinner there. The pizza was nice and the fish and chips was huge. Prices were ok. Staffs were very helpful.

I had a fantastic meal in this restaurant during a stay overnight in the hotel.I was travelling on my own and so I opted for the set meal deal which also included access to the buffet breakfast the following morning.For £26.95 the deal included either a starter and main course or alternatively a main course and dessert. There was also a drink included and I had a pint of lager.I ordered a bruschetta followed by a chicken curry and I have to say that both meals were hot and fresh and in particular the curry was akin to a Indian restaurant in its taste and appearance. Lots of people were eating in the restaurant but this did not slow down the attentiveness of the staff or also the speed of the service. Everyone seems to be very happy with their food and I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The food was as expected here, cooked by numbers and average fare. The staff and how they work were anything but usual. We had a nice welcome and were taken to our table. Our waiter came and took our order, so far so good. Having just finished our starters one main course arrived with a different member of staff. Having seen plates still on the table he said 'Oh I'll have to take them away'. He clearly didn't expect to do that as it didn't seem to be his job. While he was there I asked for another drink and he said he couldn't do that but would get a colleague. We watched him walk straight back to the kitchen only to come out again later with more meals. It seemed his job was to bring out food, and that only. I stopped another waiter from a nearby table and asked for a drink an was told he would tell his colleague. This colleague didn't come. I stopped the waiter who was serving our area soon after and managed to get a drink form him. It seems the staff have an area to cover here, which is normal. What isn't normal is for the total lack of care and service to those outside that area. My requests were deliberately ignored by 2 members of staff as they went about their own areas. That was unacceptable.

The food is nothing special, however is more than adequate, for the price, and for where it is situated by Heathrow. The service was ok ( sadly messed the order up but quickly rectified it). The food is plain, but more than adequate (especially before a flight). Two courses, for myself and my husband, with a couple of soft drinks for just over £40.

Stayed at the premier inn night before our flight out of Heathrow and it's just convenient to eat at thyme. Really lovely friendly service from the front desk and Mario looked after us very well. Very quick for food to arrive.

We were set to head out for do neebut a tired child meant we stayed at tgd hotel. What a surprise to find excellent quality food at dinner as ND again at breakfast. Highly recommend. Staff were very courteous too. Nice job team!!

This informal restaurant has good service, good food and right in the lobby of the hotel with a reasonable bar.

Had an evening meal here tonight and it was terrible. I had a double burger which was so dry it tasted like it had been cooked at lunch time. My husband had the bbq chicken and I think the chicken was only a few days old. It was the tiniest piece of chicken ever seen!

Not very good place to go with friends and family to drink the bar staff was very rude to speak I spoil my day with my friend.my first and my last time never visit this place again make me very upset special the Bar staff.

Staying at Premier Inn terminal 4, came for a meal - 6 people, quick service , nice meal - we were served by Alison - amazing service 👍 would def recommend

Ate here on an over night stay before flying out of Terminal 3. The staff here were polite and tried to please as much as possible but the apparent disorganisation was awkward and really put a dampener on the experience. Drinks that we ordered were incorrect and half way through our starters random drinks that we didn’t order were brought over. The lady on the table next to us ordered an apple juice and got a pint of carling and the two ladies on the table behind ordered 2 Bombay saphire and tonic and got gordons which also had to be changed. Every time a server brought a meal from the kitchen they walked around asking every table if it was their food which was frustrating. If i was to hazard a guess i would say that they have a pool of staff for the multiple premier inns around this area that all work in different hotels depending on which is busier but i may be wrong. The starter a mixed sharing platter was good although the temperature of the wings could have been better. My parner had the texmex burger which she enjoyed. I had the 8oz rump which was cooked perfectly but tough, from my experience this is from being cooked from the vacuum pack and not being breathed or straight from fridge to grill. Also the skin on fries were of poor temperature.

Whilst staying at the Premier Inn we eat in this restaurant. We were a party of 8, 4 adults, 4 children varying in ages.

We had dinner here and, as always at the Thyme restaurants we have eaten at in the UK, the choice was very good and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We started with chicken wings and followed with the rump steaks. Both were delicious (especially the steak) and hot and well presented on hot plates. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the price for such quality was amazing. We have paid a lot more for much poorer meals in 'smart' restaurants. We would strongly recommend this restaurant.

We ate here while staying at the Premier inn. Lovely food. Had the deal of £24.99 each adult for 2 courses and a drink and breakfast included. Also had the offer for our son £15.50 for his evening meal, both children ate for free at Breakfast time. So £71 for a family of 4 to have starters and mains and drinks is pretty good oh and a cooked breakfast in the morning too. The food was lovely, the staff very helpful and the restaurant was spotless. Thank you

There was nothing specifically wrong with my vista part from it was lifeless. The service was efficient and the food ok but there is just no atmosphere. The restaurant is tied to the Premier Inn and there is no alternatives so no need to be anything special. I will go back next time I fly from Heathrow but for no other reason

We visited the restaurant after a day in London during out stay at premier inn. Staff were attentive and welcoming and service was impeccable. Food arrived in a short space of time. Gammon was cooked perfectly and skin on chips were tasty.. good food at sensible prices. Pizza was fresh and tasty.

Right, we’re staying in the premier inn. We’ve had a couple of beers at the bar. Next mix and match, two pizzas with onion rings, skin on chips and coleslaw. Food was lovely and the staff are really attentive without being overbearing.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic restaurant fronted by the very luvly Silvane on the night I visited. I'm quite a regular here, and to be honest wouldn't stay anywhere else in or around London.

For a restaurant linked to an airport hotel this was surprisingly good. Not too bad cost wise . Comfortable seating area quite nice food and friendly staff. This makes a nice evening prior to a long haul flight. Would certainly revisit.

The service was great for an airport area hotel. The food was perfect and just what we needed after a long day of travel and prior to bed. drinks were generous pours and then staff were always with smiles. Breakfast buffett there also was very good.

We are here whilst staying at the Premier Inn. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Had a few beers on draught and additional bottled beers available. They serve a variety of food including some Asian specialities. I had a Thai green vegetable curry. This itself lacked a bit of seasoning, but the accompanying coleslaw with sweet chili was absolutely delicious. I could have eaten a plate full of it.... Recommended.

We have eaten at this and other Thyme restaurants many times in the past and this i the first time we have been disappointed.

We stayed in the Premier Inn and went into Thyme for our evening meal. We did have to wait for 30 minutes as we had not booked. There was a good choice of menu at what we thought were very reasonable prices. I chose the Chix Makhani and my partner the Gammon Steak which came with 2 eggs. We both enjoyed and it was very good value The service provided by Giulia was excellent. Would certainly recommend

Stayed 2 nights and had breakfast for one of them. Cooked breakfast was hot and tasty and they can cook your eggs to order if you wish. Ample choice of cereals, fruit, jams and yogurts etc. The coffee was bitter and hard to drink despite it stating it was Costa coffee and truth be told, the pastries like pains au chocolat were soggy and underdone, however,this didnt spoil our experience. Well worth the money and kids eat free.

For a venue that virtually has you captured as there are few alternatives within walking distance this restaurant is more than adequate. The menu is selection is ample, prices are reasonable but the portions tend to be small. The breakfast selection is quite good bur the food is not especially tasty. I would opt for the lower priced selection. Service was quite good for breakfast at other times one must order at the bar.

The restaurant is situated inside the hotel, and there really isn’t anywhere else convenient to eat if you’re staying at the Premier Inn. Although the prices are not high considering guests could be viewed as captive customers, and the menu choices are quite wide, the food and service can only be described as average.

Dined there during the evening and breakfast next morning. Great choice of meals. Portion size of meal is just right. Breakfast buffet is to die for. The black pudding was superb.

Went to eat at Thyme early Saturday evening, and the restaurant was relaxed and service started as you would expect. The food ordered arrived in good time and was hot but once the food started to arrive the service went downhill as more customers arrived. Asked for a glass of water, still waiting for it 24 hours later!!! The waiter seemed to get flustered by having more customers arriving and trying to remember orders without writing things down. This causes the little things like water going awol. Staying in another Premier Inn the following night in a different country, same menu......giving it a miss

This is for me the first time I have a dinner in this restaurant so I was not really expecting much but I had to change mind. The food was very good accompanied by an excellent service. For those who have gluten issues, just ask for the proper menu, they have many choices. After you have ordered they will be back with proper documentation and questions to make sure you do not have other allergies. I higly recommend it!

Well what can I say my daughter and I sat in the bar area and the staff were extremely attentive and we had table service. My daughter had the 3 topping pizza which defeated her the portions sizes are exceptional and her pizza was delicious. I had the small charcuterie board with a side of green vegetables and creamed spinach my daughter took a shine to it so I didn't see any lol

The Thyme restaurant is to be recommended. A well thought out and balanced menu served in a comfortable setting by professional staff (Vinson a credit to the team), and reasonably priced.

This review is in complete contrast to the one I wrote about this premier inn t5 a while ago and specifically relates to the makhani chicken curry which has been one of the best currys around for over 6 years...not any more my friends. Absolutely horrible. Gloopy, plastic brown sauce with 5 tiny bits of plastic chicken to match. Very little flavour, nothing like it has been. A real let down. The server agreed that it didn't look the same and thought it had something to do with the supplier. Let me guess, cheaper. And it shows. Never chose that dish again. What a shame, had always been outstanding. The man was cold and it just wasn't the same. Be warned.

Was a walk in guest, Myself, my husband and sister decided for a PI dinner as we were passing by from the airport so we decided to pop in. From the Host to the table service it was just a wow service.. Not to forget i would like to recommend both of the Restaurant in charge "Freddy" who welcomed us so friendly despite being a walk inn guest as it was so busy and "Ralph" who took excellent care of us while dinning. Both of these gentleman went extra miles to make sure he felt like a stay in guest. Top notched Service overall.

We ate here the night before a flight out of Heathrow. It’s one on the standard Premier Inn brands so you know what you are getting. Everything was well presented and tasty. The service is excellent. Price reasonable given it is an airport hotel. On the feedback form we gave the service 5 from 5 and the food 4 from 5. The head waiter dude then accosted us to plead for a 5. Quite an amusing end to the meal. At one point we thought the chef was going to come out Monty Python style with a meat cleaver. 4 from 5 is very good. Nothing wrong with that it’s not haute cuisine after all.

Staying in the attached hotel I came here for dinner. Quickly seated. Ordered the prawn cocktail to start and salmon steak for main. Both were very good. The salmon cooked perfectly.

A reasonable menu choice and priced reasonably. Can be quite busy so it is wise to book a table and time. The Meal deal offers good value for money but check that restaurant opening times (its not 24 hours service) if you have an early flight as you may miss out on breakfast service. Staff are friendly and efficient Selva manages the team well.

I was off to India for a month, staying overnight at the excellent T4 Premier Inn before an early morning flight.

Just like the hotel, this restaurant offers very good value and provides very good service. It is solid pub fare. We both opted for chicken wings for starters and steaks for mains. The starters were very good; often poor restaurants drown wings in sugary sauces. Not here. The wings were excellent. The steaks were also cooked perfectly. The wine list is also quite reasonable. The decor is pleasant. All-in-all a great experience. It doesn't hurt that there is a full Costa cafe on the way out. Excellent.

The waiters are super efficient and very friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently very good and served hot !

We ate dinner at this restaurant whilst staying at Premier Inn, Bath Road, Heathrow. Our food was good, hot and looked appetising. Jason our waiter was superb, nothing was too much trouble, a very pleasant young man indeed.

We have visited on previous numerous occasions and have never been disappointed with the service or standard of the food. As always Patel greeted my wife and I looked after our needs in his superb and extremely professional manner.

Came down for dinner around 7ish pm. Shown to table promptly and informed of dishes sold out. Jason my server was pleasant and friendly. Ordered curry and rice. Was really nice but only thing stopping me giving full marks was the poppadum was soft. Prices cheap for location. I would recommend.

Ate here and wasn’t expecting much, but to be fair it was good, hot and served promptly. I had fish and chips, the guys had burgers and my friend had salmon. I pre warned the waiter that If I found a bone I would be sending it back, but I am pleased to say none were present! To finish we tried their gin specials which was excellent value for money, double measures with fever tree. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Stayed in Heathrow Premier Inn Terminal 4 and ate here for our breakfast. Have to say it was the best Premier Inn breakfast we've had. Very well organised, clean and efficient, friendly staff.

Its mostly OK and can be quite good. This is a busy hotel and so when you here to fly then it is handy to eat and sleep and have breakfast. The meal deal is almost reasonable if you are able to eat well from the menus. At almost £27 for 2 courses and breakfast with free alcoholic drink you need to make your selection choices count. The food is typical chain pub and this time round, tough steak and overcooked wings were a disappointment. For the most part its fine. DO book a table when you arrive as they do fill their time slots rapidly at popular times. I wish they would get some real beer at the bar too. A nice ale on tap would be great...

My wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn Bath Road prior to flying to California, we'd pre-booked Continental Breakfast at The Thyme Restaurant at £7.95 pp it's great value for money. Excellent quality, plenty of choice all freshly prepared. Basically all you can eat and drink. Very friendly attentive staff. Excellent. Highly Recommended.

Staying at the Hotel & was too tired to shop around so I decided to eat in. The head waiter was most helpful & the staff efficient & friendly. I have to say that the menu is not to my taste & was struggling to find something I fancied. I went for the Sea Bass cooked in a paper parcel, which was quiet nice except for a couple of pieces which were raw. For sweet i had Summer Fruits Brioche & ice cream, which was reminiscent of bread & butter pudding, nice. The following evening I went down the road to Resturante Moniz where I had a much bigger & better Sea Bass for less money. I have to say I am rarely impressed with Hotel or chain restaurants. Especially these days when they seem to think that we all want to eat Burgers, ( which I can't stand).

We have eaten at a a number of Thyme Restaurants over the years and at best I can say they were average. This one on the other hand was very good. The service was professional, personal attentive and not intrusive. The food was well cooked and dare I say pleasant. The icing on the cake was being presented with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate a notable wedding anniversary following an ad hoc remark at check in. All Thyme restaurants should learn from this place. A big well done and thank you

After being sat down we were advised our waitress would be with us in one minute. 15 minutes later when we signalled for attention we were advised that we should wait for one more minute. After objecting our order was taken but without apology for the wait (people sat after us has had their order taken and in some cases received their food).It took a further 15 minutes for our requested drinks to arrive.When the food arrived it was pleasant.The staff appear to lack customer service skills and basic courtesy.

Super restaurant, staff are always lovely,and the waiters some of the best. We never see the need to travel out from here, if you do the breakfast and dinner deal, it works out quite reasonable. Normally a buffet for the kiddies, which is great value, but our teenagers wouldn't go for it.

Great place to eat, has a good range of food available, catering for all tastes. Reasonable prices. At certain times and depending on your stay type you can buy a meal for adults and children have their own buffet all you can eat and a drink free, but check Premier inn reception for more information. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We ate at restaurant 26/08, it was a very very busy night for the restaurant with lots of big groups. We wanted a table for 2 and were accommodated immediately by the friendly but very professional Bruno. He made sure our time in the restaurant went without hitch and we had a very enjoyable meal despite the very hectic atmosphere in the rest of the restaurant.

We ate here whilst staying at the Premier Inn. I had reserved a table via a text that i had received once i had confirmed my booking at the hotel. I double checked that they had our reservation when we arrived -but they did not - however there was plenty of seats so they were able to fit us in. The menu is typical of this type of restaurant - with quite a few options to choose from. They did offer a childrens buffet - however it was really just full of chips, nuggets, pizza etc - not a vegetable in sight! Food was ok, i asked if my chips could be replaced with sweet potato chips (as this was an option on some of the food choices) they said no and i would need to pay extra - thought that was a bit mean! Especially as i was having a steak which was one of the more expensive items on the menu. My husband and Son had burgers which they said were fine and my daughter had a pizza. We chose not to have deserts or coffee (as it was cheaper to buy a coffee from Costa outside). For convenience it is ideally located. In hindsight - next time we will venture out and see what else is on offer.

This restaurant is in the foyer of the Premier Inn . It offers plenty of seating. We ate in the foyer which is inside hotel but sectioned off where we could watch the world go by or there's the inside restaurant. There is an excellent choice of food which is tasty and plenty of it.The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend a meal here especially if staying the night at the hotel. They do a special price for dinner and breakfast which we were offered but had an early flight so didn't take up the offer.

Stayed over before a flight out of Heathrow. Room was really good. Went to eat at the in house restaurant. They got us in within half an hour as it was very busy. The food was excellent as was the service. We had the pizzas. Watch out, they are big. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We did not stay at this Premier Inn. However, this was a mistake. We did use the Thyme Restaurant though as we have stayed at Premier Inns before and had meals at them. Even though we were not staying at this Premier Inn Jason and Katrina still went well out of their way to ensure we were welcomed and had excellent service. I would recommend you eat here even if staying elsewhere. Katrina the Champagne was fantastic. Thank You
