Great hotel to stay at. Staff were extremely friendly. Great location. Mattress was extremely comfortable and enjoyed a good nights sleep. Only down side was the water in the bathroom was running slow. Staff kindly explained it was due to the recent refurbishment and it was an issue that is in the process of being sorted.

Best kebab shop in rainham great service best meal we had so far will visit again thank you for the best quality dinner five star.

The room looked like not been cleaned for a while still have drink marks from last guests on the side . The breakfast in the morning was horrible the beans was off and the man cooking it said he opened them last week , we didn’t end up having our breakfast

We had an amazing time at the kids' Halloween party at the Phoenix Pub today! The atmosphere was spot-on with fantastic Halloween decor, and it was so fun seeing all the kids in costume. The entertainer kept everyone laughing and engaged, and the activities, from colouring to the chocolate fountain, were a hit with kids and adults alike. Great food, great vibes, and an all-around fantastic event! Thanks to the Phoenix Pub for making it such a memorable Halloween celebration. 🎃👻

Don’t be deceived by the pictures..it’s nothing like what it shows then. The best thing about this place is that it’s quiet..(we were the only ones here) which says a lot and the fact that they tidy your room everyday. The reception staff are helpful and nice though. The rooms..well..to say the least they done what a room should do, provide a bed and a roof over my head. Otherwise, the state of them is concerning . Toilets look okay at first glance but a few more minutes in there will have you feel like you need to bleach the whole bathroom, dirty toilet seats, dirty showers. The actual room is bearable but then again, you can notice dust, worn out pillows, dirty curtains, out of date milk on the table, and it was oddly cold, the heater didn’t impact much. The breakfast isn’t continental as they describe, it’s some orange juice, cereals and milk.

Curtain hanging off the rail, restaurant not open even though advertised, continental breakfast stale cornflakes, dirty carpets and black in the shower. I couldn't write it, they even charged me twice.

Four stars for the food, No stars for one particular waiter. He was very abrupt, took plate away while I was still decanting my food, cleared table one nano second after finishing meal, offered no dessert, left a tip because the food was good which he took without any acknowledgment.

Very disappointing takeaway. We have used Le Hope for many years and have always had good food. Sadly last nights takeaway was poor. Chicken Jalfrezi had heat but no flavour, Takka Dahl was watery and the chicken dansak was flavourless. The order was 10 minutes later than the time slot so the food was warm at best

Proper fish and chip shop. Good kebabs, good chips. Staff are friendly and kind Their spiced potatoes are the best. Always going for them every time I order. The best potatoes I’ve had in ages Good place. Highly recommend.

Went Yesterday after the gym and curry goat and rice and pea’s the food was nice as a Jamaican I usually don’t eat out but this is approved the food nice the place is clean and staff are friendly . Finished of the goat so quickly I didn’t even remember to take a picture lol !
