Avoid- and it's not roti hut it's some other Caribbean takeaway. Everything was bloody awful

Lovely decor, friendly staff. However, poor quality food, lengthy waiting time, even though I was the only customer. The music was utterly tasteless. No napkins nor cutlery! Will definitely not be going there again!!

Lovely tasty Carribbean food, definitely the best in the area

It is with great sadness that I have given this place one star, and had it been possible I would have given zero stars. The service was next to none existent and we waited for over 15 minutes for service at our table, despite the restaurant/cafe being empty (apart) from a small group of teens being in the establishment socialising. It came to the point where I and the rest of our party walked out and went elsewhere. Very dissapointed as this used to be a really good little eatery. The management need to get a grip of the service and customer facing staff if they wish to make it a success that it has the capability to be.

Shockingly unprofessional, portion sizes have halved and you'll be lucky to even get your food. Surprised it's still in business! Shame as it used to be superb.

My friend suggested to try them and I'm glad he did. The food was really really good. I've ordered ox tails and curry goat mid, both were fantastic. And the portions is enough for 2 people each.

The food is lovely but the service is a big let down. It's slow and I've ordered a few times and they have continuously got my orders wrong. The staff come across unprofessional too. It's a shame because the owner is real cool but the staff are a massive let down to the business. Even though I love the food I can't deal with the awkwardness of the staff so haven't gone back

Wonderful food, truly a taste of Jamaica. I purchase food there regularly and in particular, I love the Stew Peas, Oxtail and Fried Chicken. I can tell that the food is well seasoned and freshly cooked. Try some of the fresh juices too. You'll love it! In fact I travel round distance 20 miles to buy food there!

I just tried this Essex Roti, even though I saw good reviews, I went in there with an open mind, but I left with satisfied tummy and I enjoyed the meals, I definitely will be going back, they are realkr friendly people also. Highly recommend it if you are in Rainham, the last time I had good roti like this is when I was in Trinidad

The food here is ten out of ten. I eat here everyday and it's always fresh and wholesome. The freshly squeezed drinks are amazing too.

Good food however the portions got smaller the last time I visit...

Hit and Miss. Very good some days and not so good on other occasions. Would recommend to friends but be warned that customer service and quality control isn't consistent or polished.

Jerk chick didn't even taste like jerk Just like it had been grilled and spicy sauce poured on it Coleslaw was all water Only decent thing was the rice what most probably came out of a packet Will never order again and will let people know how terrible the food it there

BEST RESTAURANT IN ENGLAND ! They have the best service and their food select is A+ ! Me and my friends ate there literally everyday while on vacation. Staff is amazing also, very accommodating. YUMMY! LOVE YOU ESSEX ROTI HUT !
