The best restaurants in Mawneys Havering London

We ordered the Tuesday special but upsized to get the house specialties. Food was excellent as was the service. The waiter spent time explaining the menu ad offering suggestions and being a Tuesday and early in the evening the owner spent some time talking to us and giving a bit of history. I highly recommend this as one of the best I have been to in quite a while.

Absolute delicious and quality desserts provided 365 days a year. The milkshakes and waffles were absolutely sublime. The establishment is quite on trend with comfortable seating areas. The customer service is second to none. The soft serve is literally the best here Situated in the heart of collier row easily accessible by public transport with a bus stop right outside. Car parking is also available with wheelchair access.

Nice local cafe. I enjoy their bubble special and coffee. Nice friendly team

Best chip shop by far all my family uses this chip shop. Had my first deep fried mars bar today HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great food with excellent service.

Came in a couple of days ago and Continuously heard an employee coughing severely didnt think anything of it at the time however i was told by a neighbour that the employee that was coughing caught covid its unacceptable

Quality Indian food for a very reasonable price, the staff were friendly and helpful also.Well done Djarjeeling I was there about 9.30pm on Monday 22nd April with 4 friends we have been there a few times before.We have been back several times since and the food does not disappoint. The quality and taste of the food was very good

Delicious freshly prepared food, great service and reasonably priced. Will visit again, next time maybe for breakfast which looked delicious, lots of choices for vegetarian.

My local kebab shop and well worth a visit. Decent portions and fresh salad. Not my usual shop but very impressed with them

I recently ordered pasta from Coco di Mama via Uber Eats, and I must say, the experience was delightful! Even though it was takeout, the dish arrived in great condition, beautifully packaged, and the enticing aroma made it evident that I was in for a treat. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, just the way I love it. The sauce was rich and flavorful, showcasing the fresh ingredients that Coco di Mama is known for. Hands down the best Indian takeaway in Romford, and believe me I’ve tried them all. I can’t congratulate the chef enough, this is the one best Indian food I’ve ever had; extraordinarily delicious! “KORAI LAMB, LEMON RICE, CEYLON CHICKEN, BOMBAY ALOO, SAG PONIR, STUFFED NAN & ONION BHAKEE.

Still 0 out of 10. Caught the manager and the waiter in the bathroom AGAIN and my water had a yellow hue. I never knew water could have such a distinct taste. The staff treated me horribly because of my last review and my wife was slapped by the manager for asking for the menu. Would not recommend although gets a slight improvement over last time for teaching my wife a lesson about speaking to men. We visited for the first time today as it always seems full every time we pass by in the car. But I’m sorry to say I now can’t understand why it’s so popular. I had what they called the Big Breakfast which was spread out over the plate to look big but a plate half the size would have sufficed. The food although hot lacked any flavour whatsoever and I really would like to know where they get their produce from as it doesn’t seem to be of a high standard. So yes this was our first and last visit.

After using Manzil for over 20 years it is with a heavy hart I write this, I would say that they have been either bought out or are using a very different Chef. It was my Daughters Birthday Saturday so ordered almost £100 of food when it arrived I asked "why we was not ordering from Manzil's" only to be told that it was, the chicken tikka main, consisted of 5 very small pieces of chicken, which were dry as a bone, no onions and if there was any juices from the chicken id say it had drunk it!! the whole meal was totally un edible and id say the vas majority of the food went in the bin, I tried 4 times to get through by phone to no answer then when they finally answered the phone was put down straight away After over 20 years of ordering at least once /twice a week I will never order from there again the food was worse than a ping and ding from Aldi and 10 times the price !! sorry Manzil but you've missed the mark here
