Coco di Mama - Italian To Go - MFG Romford in Havering

I ordered this post-surgery when I hadn’t eaten for over 14 hours. I was looking forward to it. The order was delivered over 30 minutes late. The garlic bread was stone cold, rock hard & inedible. The pasta was lukewarm & required reheating. I ordered a panini which I didn’t receive. The receipt said it was out of stock, yet I haven’t received a refund. If an item is out of stock, it shouldn’t be available to purchase on the app. Very unimpressed & I won’t be ordering from here again.

Worst ever experience I ordered twice from them and got hair in my food I thought the first time was bad but after 2 weeks they did it again and it can’t be the driver since the hair is always at the bottom this is disgusting

Dont bother wasting money, the pot is so small, and made poorly.

I recently ordered pasta from Coco di Mama via Uber Eats, and I must say, the experience was delightful! They couldn’t heat/toast the panini ? Was just a pre packed refrigerated rock hard panini. also had a pasta, was also barely warm - had to microwave

Little available from menu, picked a pasta that was served far from hot, no cutlery and really and truely this is savers bottle standard pasta sauce on hard cold pasta served in a fancy looking pot Avoid

Went on a "Too good to go" pick up . Got 3 items Bit of wait. Few members of staff there but don't know how many of them were working there.

My baguette didn’t have pesto inside and seemed hard. Usually it’s fresh and delicious but this time it seemed like it was old.

When I got the bolognese for the first time a few months ago I was very disappointed but then I saw they updated their menu so I thought I’d give it a try again. I brought the Grande Sausage & Pancetta Ragu and I have to say it’s got a lot of flavour and it’s really nice, the portion size is great too. It will fill you up and it’s full from top to bottom with flavour. I recommend buying this it’s really nice in my opinion.

Looking for something that was not the usual Chinese or Indian, I thought I'd give Coco di Mama a go. My first complaint is that it was not possible to provide one of items that I had requested which was an extra £1.80, I was not contacted to say there was an issue, and no substitution was provided. I didn't bother complaining to Just Eat as it is a waste of time, they will only offer money off the next order, which I've never successfully applied. The food was OKish. Some of it arrived hot and some was warm. Portobello, Porcini & Mascarpone and Ham Hock & Pancetta Carbonara were good, not great. The Sausage & Pancetta Ragu, Tuscan-style Pollo and Supergreen Pesto (this was missing the extra chicken) were OK if a little bland. The garlic bread was difficult to cut and chew I won't be ordering that again. The food is presented in round cardboard containers, with Grande being a generous portion, the main complaint from my family being that the sauce was not completely mixed through as you work your way down the container it ends up being just pasta. So would I order from Coco di Mama again, right now I'm on the fence.

Outstanding customer service were seated immediately and the staff were very impressive and friendly i spent around 10-20 pounds and i was very satisfied with that too.

Basic, food came early, but missing was cold. Was also missing the rocket I ordered with the pasta.

The quality of food was awful. Garlic bread had no cheese and was stone cold. Couldn’t bite through it with my human teeth. The pasta didn’t have any taste and I had to season it with Salt. Food has no taste and is incredibly bland. They gave me a free cookie but honestly I was gutted about the food so didn’t care for the cookie

The delivery and hand off was great no complaints there but the food quality was very far below par, it tasted bland, it was cold, very dry, just a waste of time.

Bread old and gummy / pumpkin things tasted like petrol/ never again

This is ridiculous I ordered two things and not one of those things was right. You had one job and that was make two items. Absolutely appalling. You call your self a restaurant.

Midi Spicy Pollo pasta was good but Midi Spicy Arrabiata was bit tangy. Also, pasta sauce was added in the top of the boxes and in bottom there was no sauce just boiled pasta

Lovey food & not too long to wait

I get the food delivered as it’s 24 hours. The food is hot and delicious. The pasta is cooked just perfect and overall very nice. The packaging was made sure to keep the food fresh and hot. Very great place.

Pasta bolognese a bit on the bland side and not enough sauce. Pity no spaghetti Or tagliatelle available as would have been better. Chocolate caramel brownie very dry.

This place is great. I've ordered about 5 times for two people and it's been perfect every single time! Definitely try them out; the portions are large and fresh. My favorite is the Hock Ham and Pancetta pasta, but I've had most flavours and they're all tasty.
