Great evening at Turtle Bay, Romford. The service by Ryan and Lottie was excellent. They were very friendly and handled everything flawlessly. It was my wife's birthday and they made extra effort to bring us out a cake with a candle at the end of the meal which made it extra special.

Overall great visit. Food was good and service from Manovi was excellent.

Our first time trying turtle bay and it was amazing. The food and drinks were perfect. Our food took a little while to come however it was worth the wait. When we asked how long our food would be one of the managers Ryan i think he said his name was came and spoke with us. He was super friendly and apologised for the delay. We will be coming back for a bottomless brunch which he recommended Lee and ryan provided 10/10 service!!

I ordered half jerk chicken and it was just microwaved and totally dry. I was chewing just about through the whole meal . The rice was terrible too and coleslaw was not fresh at all. This was the third time this happened unless you turn up at 12noon the food is totally below par sadly. Only one chef who was too busy on his phone to care about the quality of the food.

I was recently there for a hen do and disgusted by the outcome from it all My whole party especially myself was overcharged and all I had was side dishes Service was underwhelming and to charge the group £77 for a service charge was unacceptable What they should of done is gone to each party member and charge them that way, they wasn't that busy so someone could of done that as some dishes were charged when some party members wasn't there and the current party had changed minds and didn't eat what was originally ordered From what I calculated my meal was £19.50 but I was charged for the full price of a main meal with the bottomless drinks of a price of £55 so considering that, the service would of been better if they did breakdown the bill per person Food was acceptable but some party members meals were incorrect which then ruined it for the majority And need to note, before prebooking, we were told it was £35 a head so someone didn't deliver the correct information Managers and service team should had been more accommodating for this situation and it still wasn't resolved in the end and we were forced to pay for something we didn't have and didn't get proper explanations for it

I had dinner with my family today, and it was a wonderful experience. The food and atmosphere were exceptional. A staff member named Natasha introduced us to the new menu and guided us in choosing the best curries to suit our tastes. We’re frequent visitors to this restaurant, and we highly recommend everyone to give it a try!

I brought my family of 6, including my mother, to celebrate her 70th birthday. We have visited over the years, but not for some time, and thought we would eat locally and try the restaurant again. We were all very disappointed by the quality of the food and what was on offer. I mainly eat fish, and apart from fish fingers (I am not a child), the only other fish I saw available was at the Teppanyaki station. I asked for salmon and prawns and could not believe it when the chef put a slither of salmon, which is used for sushi, and three of the smallest prawns I have seen onto the grill. The selection of food has gone down since I last dined at the restaurant, and the food is bland and lukewarm at best. Small amounts of food, such as fried prawns, are brought out so that customers have to rush to get them before they are quickly finished. Most of the rice dishes were dried out and tasted awful. The desserts, although lots of options, are bland. The Eaton Mess, which used to be so lovely, is now a mush of whipped cream and cheap bits of fruit. The plates were often unavailable, and I walked around to look for them. For the amount of money you charge per adult, I would expect a much higher standard of food. I would at least expect there to be more options for fish eaters, and that the food is served hot. Some dishes are brought out lukewarm. After paying £100.88, I am very disappointed. I could have raised this on the night, but I didn't want to spoil my mother’s 70th birthday celebration, and she chose the restaurant. I wish that I had looked at your reviews online prior to coming to the restaurant, as it would seem that most have the same issues, and you have not acted on previous feedback. There are too many other restaurants for consumers. When I choose to stay local and support local businesses, I expect to get what I paid for. The meal was not cheap and was not worth the money that I paid. I will never return to your restaurant and would not recommend it to others.
