Always order from here on justeat. Food is always good quality, great value for money, never any issues with delivery. Definitely the best chinese takeaway in the area. Thanks silver sea EDIT: it seems every other takeaway in the area has decided to double their prices with some charging almost £10 for a single portion of chicken chow mein? I have no idea wtf they're thinking but silver sea is by far the best value (and still the best quality) so I'll continue ordering from here and nowhere else :D

Right, to be honest I had reservations about writing this review. I have been using this venue for delivered takeaway for almost two years now. We live in Chigwell and are within their delivery range and are so pleased we are. The food is ALWAYS excellent quality and extremely well presented. The prices are more competitive than Chigwell Chinese and the food is at least of equal quality!!!! If you are yet to try this place for a takeaway then please do so soon as I am sure you will love the food. The delivery time quoted to me for all this time has always been within 5 minutes with the food being delivered hot and freshly cooked. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough Guys! Enjoy!

Been using this place for sometime now, but the last one was terrible every dish over cooked and hard. Ordered through just eat so got no help from them. Will now use another take away.

Ordered for myself and my son ...... within half hour of eating I was being sick and and on the toilet all night next day was spent in bed with stomach cramps.My son was the same. An absolutly awful time would never order from here again (this was the first time).

Very disappointed ordered crispy duck and got fatty not crispy duck, couldn't eat it, gave to the dogs. They must have run out of onion coz only got about 6 pieces of onion in the salad. No flavour in the special rice. Chicken balls were oily. The crispy beef tasted awful worst ever tasted. The chop suey, the king po chicken and the plain rice were OK. All in all a bad meal. Not impressed, will not be recommending them or using again. 9/10/21

Absolutely delicious. The salt and spicy chicken with singapore fried rice and chow mein is so so good. The rub BBQ sauce is is also great to dip in with some chips and crackers!

Good food but let down by constantly missing food off of the order, not the first time this has happened and is very frustrating. Delivered the lemon chicken without lemon sauce and duck Pancakes without the cucumber or spring onion .

My best restaurant for ordering Chinese food🍜.I ordered "House Special Chow Mein" , King Prawns Chow Mein and Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls. I was never disappointed in the quality of the food. Ordered first time tonight from here has me and my other half fancied chinese tonight which ended has a result of my hubby choking on a really hard chewy sparrow rib. His currently in hospital has I type. Wont be ordering again.

DELICIOUS! Every dish we ordered was full of flavour and had lots in them. The Ribs are amazing and you must try the honey pork! They are very quick and it is good value for the amount that you get! Best you can get in the area and best I’ve ever had to be honest! You won’t be disappointed

Normal pretty good love the food no fault in that but..... just ordered and asked for EXTRA PEAS and again got NO PEAS, fuming tbh happened twice now... who wants a chicken fried rice with out peas😡

Used them ages ago, good at the time ordered instore delivered wrong food rubbish did not taste like Chinese food at all

(Uber eats delivered) Both rice and sweet and sour chicken H.K Style came hot and fresh. Rice had a nice stickyness / lightness too it. Sweet and sour came with a lot of the dish with the pineapple still with its taste, although I found it a bit to vinegar-ry (sour) still nice though.

Food is hit and miss.Have used this Chinese on and off for ages but seems to serve nice food one week then next time sub standard.high standard is important or we go elsewhere...

The food came early created a dish I wanted and was not on the menu the soup was real crab not crab sticks food good and staff amazing

Waited over a hour and 40 minutes for food. When it finally turned up the food was cold, so i rang them up and spoke the the manager and got told that it is not possible for the food to be cold (the manager called me a liar). The manager then continued to raise her voice and spoke over to me.

My local. All ways friendly and has all ways treated me well and grate prices. Love the food and never had a issue. Giving soms love back for the awesome service they have all ways given me.

Used previously as literally a 2 minute drive from us. Phoned and ordered for delivery told would be 45 mins - 60 mins. 1 hour and 20 mins later we phoned to chase up. To be told would be 20 mins (obv forgot to put through!) and could give us discount next time! 25 mins later food arrived said its not good enough next time can we have discount now. Driver phoned the boss sam? And said theres nothing I can do this time, after much debate he settled on a £5 discount but doesnt leave us feeling like any customer care is given! And will boycott from now on!!

No good food is very cold,expensive and not that good and then I google to find out that the hygiene in that place is appalling I want be coming back again, Collier Row deserve a lot lot better !!!!

Food was very cold and curry sauce had exploded over food where delivery driver had clearly tried to carry to many orders!!

food is always warm never piping hot of average taste nothing special at all, very expensive since new manager took it over 8 mt ago one small ( reduced portion ) of beef curry skyrocketed from £4.10 to a massive £5.00 in two installs as not to put of customers too much, some of the other dishes went up even more so I found another curry house near by the moral of this is : I don't mind paying for your BMW but I'm not buying you a house as well Ps I now recommend Green River Restaurant Ltd in collier row Rd food is just fantastic and at good price Re: very tasty curry is £4.25p

Had this chinese tonight for the first time and all i can say WOW... food was amazing, Really friendly on the phone taking my order...and asked for delivery at 6.15pm and arrived 5mins early. Food was lovely and really NOT greasy, Rice was perfect, Prawn balls was non greasy to and all i can say is " You have got to try this take away you wont be disappointed xx Thank You Silver Sea Sharryn xx
