Manzil Tandoori in Havering

After using Manzil for over 20 years it is with a heavy hart I write this, I would say that they have been either bought out or are using a very different Chef. It was my Daughters Birthday Saturday so ordered almost £100 of food when it arrived I asked "why we was not ordering from Manzil's" only to be told that it was, the chicken tikka main, consisted of 5 very small pieces of chicken, which were dry as a bone, no onions and if there was any juices from the chicken id say it had drunk it!! the whole meal was totally un edible and id say the vas majority of the food went in the bin, I tried 4 times to get through by phone to no answer then when they finally answered the phone was put down straight away After over 20 years of ordering at least once /twice a week I will never order from there again the food was worse than a ping and ding from Aldi and 10 times the price !! sorry Manzil but you've missed the mark here

Food always nice and hot. Very courteous staff and drivers. Highly recommend. Been using for a number of years. Never had an issue.

Having tried several Indian Takeaways in Collier Row and the surrounding area we had never tried Manzil before. Our usual restaurant was closed today so we decided to give Manzil a try and we could not fault the food. It was absolutely delicious, not at all greasy and really fresh, delivered in good time and was very hot on arrival. The staff were also very friendly taking our order and delivering it! We will definitely be using them again. If you haven’t tried them, we would highly recommend that you do!!!

As a very regular of this take away using them 3 times per week on average, as usual on a Christmas eve or New Years Eve we have been left waiting for over 2 hours over the delivery time and still have not got our food, we have now been told that the driver is on his way four times, please guys if you cant deliver dont take our money !! and remember your regular customers that order three times per week not once or twice a year !! bad show as a regular to be treated in this way !! I think as this is not the first time, we will look for somewhere else to spend over £100 per week when I complained to the manager he told me he would personally come and see me tomorrow to explain alas I am still waiting !! when the food finally arrived it was cold and as if it had all been microwaived !! it costs by far less to keep an existing customer than to cultivate a new one Guys you missed the mark on this one

Not bad but wasn’t the best curry I have eaten. I have had far better so unlikely to order from here again. The food arrived hot and was ok.

Have driven past this place for years and never gave it a second thought. Decided to give it a go as am fed up with all the other local Indian takeaways and was very pleased with quality of food. I would highly recommend

Always great food. Delivery is always on time or early. Food arrives hot. Been using for past few years, never had an issue. They will make curry as hot as you like it. The Lamb Phall I highly recommend.

Always friendly, always delicious and always ready on time. Really can’t find fault in these guys at all. Food is always hot and cooked to order and they can adapt to taste when requested. Ordered the chicken passbda and would have liked a couple more lychees but otherwise near perfect. Always our go to for Indian takeaway. Highly recommended

Absolutely great food. Never had an issue. Home delivery is fast and food arrives Hot. I can highly recommend the Lamb Phall, I have it extra hot. The chicken Tikka is a must have too.

We have been using Manzi for many years and order every weekend. Such good service, so friendly and to top it off AMAZING food that you will not find anywhere else.

This is our 'go to' take away. We've honestly never had anything from there that is below par. Great place!

I’ve been coming to manzil for about 4 years now. I will not eat chicken korma from any other Indian as I’ve never trusted there chicken. The staff are always very friendly and polite in here and are also very quick. I would recommend everyone to come here! P.s they also do the best Bombay potatoes !!

The take away was fine. Hot, on time, I would use them again, but there are others who are better. Like Tandoori Hut Marks Gate.

Use this curry house quite often. Decent size portions and very tasty. Deliver or collect. Off licence next door to grab your beers too. Poppadoms chucked in on large orders.

We have used it and found nothing to complain about. But there is a lot of competition in this area.

we ordered a takeaway from Manzil last week. the guy said it will be delivered in 40 minutes. when the food arrived in 20mins I was a bit worried. I said to my wife that this cannot be good food as it takes at least 30 odd minutes to cook the food properly. to our amazement the food tasted absolutely fabulous and so cheap, great value. the best takeaway Indian food we have had in a long while. the food was not greasy and just the right hotness. so we complemented the manager and ordered again th

Ordered for the 1st time last night and the food was amazingly delicious. I've not been a fan of Indian food up until now but this is by far the most delicious indian food I've had. It was also delivered steaming hot (another plus). Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Had a few takeaways from here, always decent and delivered on time. Doesn't stand out compared to other local Indian takeaways but at the same time it has never disappointed.

We use Mazil Tandoori as our main Indian Take away. Both the food and service is good. We pick up our meal so we don't wait for delivery, which can be slow (we found this out when eating at a friends and the delivery was one hour).

I've eaten at scores of asian restaurants and from takeaways but this has to be one of the worst.
