Quality Indian food for a very reasonable price, the staff were friendly and helpful also.Well done Djarjeeling I was there about 9.30pm on Monday 22nd April with 4 friends we have been there a few times before.We have been back several times since and the food does not disappoint. I recently ordered from Darjeeling and had a fantastic experience. The lamb tikka was tender and flavorful, and the chicken tikka biryani was perfectly spiced and aromatic. The highlight was the tarka dhal, which was rich and delicious. I've ordered from here a few times, and it’s been consistently excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic and mouthwatering dishes.

I wish I could give 10 stars 🌟. I was really amazed by the wonderful service I received here. I am celiac and very sensitive to Gluten, so eating out is always a worry. But they really put my mind to rest and double checked my order for me. The food was amazing. I can highly recommend. We will definitely be returning. Many many thanks.

Very disappointed with tonight’s takeaway, Bombay potato like raw potato in a sauce. Pilau rice not cooked to usual standard lumpy a clumped together and delivered almost cold.

Very disappointed. Naan bread burnt. Poppadoms in crumbs. Not the best taste of curries. I called them up to advise of the burnt Naan and crumbled poppadoms and nothing was offered as if they didn’t care!

Me and my Fiance had such a lovely meal here on Valentines night! We had the Valentines set menu, which was fantastic value for money and the food was excellent with very generous portion sizes. The table was presented with a lovely gift bag with a small bottle of prosecco, chocolates & a rose and balloons to take home. Also at the end of the meal even offered us a free drink each with some chocolates, which was very generous and nice of them. Staff were very, helpful, friendly & obliging. We would definitely go again and recommend. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Extremely polite customer service when calling. Order for delivery taken swiftly and professionally. Estimated delivery time was reasonable and food arrived within that time. Food here is always delivered fresh and cooked to order. Delicious dishes that all have their own unique taste. There's a reason why this restaurant receives great reviews, and it's because their food really is delightful. If you are unsure of what to order, their set meals are value for money and have the perfect variety.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant. The quality of the food is truly exceptional. The staff are attentive and are an excellent team. The restaurant is bright and modern and is in a very accessible place in Collier Row opposite the Wetherspoon pub. The owner truly knows how to run a restaurant. Do give this a try if you haven't before! You will not be disappointed.

I got recommended by friends and family of this place, and now it becomes my favourite Indian. I've never eaten at the restaurant tho, always take away for me. They don't have online ordering service, so you'll have to order by phone or in person. (10% off for collection) Staff are friendly. Always make you feel welcome. Food always up to standard for me. I have been to many Indian restaurants, and Darjeeling has become one of our favourites. What a wonderful place to eat. My family and I eat here regularly - we enjoy all of the dishes. **Update" We now regularly eat here, the food is so enjoyable and the table service is very friendly. I visited this wonderful Indian restaurant yesterday with other members of my family, as expected it did not disappoint. We loved it!

NOT authentic Indian food/flavours at all! My family ordered a takeaway from this place and coming from a South Asian background - This is NOT authentic Indian food at all. The flavours were terrible. Anybody who is buying from here really doesn’t know true Indian flavour at all. Please start catering for proper authentic flavours if you’re classifying yourself as an Indian restaurant.

The restaurant is quite small and the menu is not extensive, but the food is excellent and the service is top draw. All customers are made very welcome. There is no parking outside the restaurant. Across the road is some parking. Otherwise, street parking is the only way. The restaurant is on the ground floor, and despite being quite small, I would describe it as wheelchair accessible. Both eat in and takeaway are available. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

They didn’t answer the phone until after tying 5 or so times. We ordered on a Wednesday and we live a 5 minute drive away, it still took well over an hour to deliver just 2 meals. We chased it up and wasn’t offered an apology, just told us the usual ‘it’s on its way’. The food arrived tepid and needed warming up. The food wasn’t very nice at all to be honest. The saag paneer was void of any paneer, cream/cottage cheese that every other good Indian places serve saag paneer. Darjeeling’s was just spinach mixed with oil and cheddar cheese. It was disgusting to be honest and I didn’t even finish it. We ordered this to celebrate a birthday and the slowness of it all delayed our evening, if we could get a refund that would be great.

Quick delivery and very reasonably priced. The person I ordered from on the phone didn’t seem very interested in suggesting dishes. Some soft meat and vegetables and some not so, as if they were from two different cooking processes 🤷🏻‍♂️ come to your own conclusion.

Fresh, flavoursome food with no compromise on authentic tatse. First time ive ordered and cant wait to order again. Will also try and sit in the restaurant soon. Minor problem with a dish being forgotten but was immediately rectified. Friendly and helpful customer service over the phone. A gem find 😍

On entering asked them to take my coat told to put it on the chair next to me food Most disappointed never have I had such a bad meal meat was to tough to chew and in what state of India is a biriani chilli not sweet we asked for our leftovers to be put in take away containers they told us to do it our selfes I will never eat there again or get a take away

New to area and asked on Havering Community for best Indian takeaway's. Darjeeling came up tops! Ordered twice before from there but delivery was very slow as had problems finding our address and time it arrived was cold (but still tasty). Last night was 3rd time lucky though!! Prompt delivery and the food was just beautiful. Highly recommend this place.

Got a takeaway yesterday - the side orders of Sag Aloo and Tarka Daal were fine. The pilau rice was a little hard and lacked butter. With regards to the lamb tikka pasanda, the aromatic sweet curry was fine, the lamb so too chewy and not edible. Generally disappointed as a first time customer.

This is my first time to order for take away from this restaurant. The curry is delicious and the staffs very nice, amazing service. I definitely highly recommend this restaurant. Of course I definitely will order more and dine in in the the future.

What a place. First time visiting tonight for my sons 21st. There were 20 of us and food all come out the same time and hot. Food was lovely. Service was great. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. 5 star from us.

I was quite disappointed with my meal as I ordered a Chicken jalfrezi and and it tasted quite sweet and not hot at all. I can only think they didn’t wash the pan properly from the meal before. The restaurant and staff are really nice, the staff was really friendly while I was waiting and the restaurant was spacious and clean. I would order from here again but not anytime soon

Came in on a Thursday evening, the place was full. Good vibe and atmosphere, staff were great and food was good and fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

Just ordered from Darjeerling Tandoori. The food was delicious and authentic. The flavours were lovely and you can tell a lot of effort has been put into the cooking. Will definitely order again and visit to eat in going by the takeaway.

Finally a decent curry house in Collier Row! Got a takeaway from Darjeeling on Saturday night, popped in around 6.15... don't think I've ever seen a restaurant so full at that time ever! Ordered, given a complimentary drink whilst I waited, had a nice chat with the staff despite how busy it was and then my food arrived. Food was amazing, still piping hot when I got home, chicken perfect (none of that yesterday, reheated rubbish!) Breads were spot on, not over cooked and just overall tasted amazing! Definatly be back soon!

Omg best food and experience we have had In years …. Not only is it very modern light and clean it’s comfortable and bright … service was top class from start to finish we was given all the time we wanted between courses food was second to none in both taste quality and presentation best I’ve personally had and so reasonably priced we was shocked at the bill will definitely be dinning there again and recommend it … thank you for a lovely experience
