The best restaurants in Heathfield Croydon London

What a great find! Fairly new (3 months at time of writing) takeaway with limited seating. The menu is small but the food is very interesting. We have tried this place several times and have tasted most of the burgers and pies on offer. All of which offer great flavours and quite different to your regular franchised fast food places. Well worth a try.

I really hope Renzo and Mauro is only temporarily closed for a holiday or something, as we absolutely love this restaurant. The food is so delicious, the staff are welcoming. Our favourite local restaurant. Please come back soon. Gutted just found out they have closed and are under new management. So upset- Renzo and Mauro (The Pasta Pot) was fantastic and I don't think the new place will be the same. I don't know why they didn't let customers know they were closing

The Chef here is incredible. I dined in for the first time after being a take away customer over a few years. The food, ambience and staff are faultless. The pizza here never fails to excite my taste buds, and take me back to Italy where I have waited 2.5 hours in a queue for Pizza, and yet this is better and on my doorstep! This local gem is worth a visit, put it at the top of your list and go. The truffle pasta was absolute perfection. Thank you Chef for an incredible meal once again.

If your not having fish then don’t bother. Fish cake was nice but at £4.50 you’d hope so, sausages are not even jumbo for starters, no home made pies, chips not even sure if freshly cut as could easily be frozen. Prices are higher than any I’ve paid put it like that. Same old story gets an award one year and completely throws standards out the window as it evolves. In all seriousness unless you wanna get fleeced for sit down I’d personally suggest stick with ya local chippy👍🏻 o yer update ya prices on ya website some items £2 under priced than actual which again does show any particular professionalism. Not worth return visit imo.

Small stall outside Chinese restaurant with basic selection. Weak coffee. Asked to use the loo and was told they didn't have access to the restaurant, then saw the same person inside the restaurant a moment later.

Ordered 6 pizzas and garlic bread. Arrived bang on time and they were ALL fantastic!! Best pizza place in the south, Dominoes can go fish.

Called to make an order which we were unsure of, asked this lady what she would recommend for chicken - shish or doner and she replied ‘ I don’t care just pick one ‘ in the rudest manner, have been a customer of there many times now but not going there again. Just damn right rude !

I went to this restaurant on 23/08/2024 with my friends. I asked if I could have a kids meal as I knew I wouldn't be able to finish the food and I was told I was not able to. So, myself and my friend decided to share a fish as the fish would've been too big for me to finish. The lady who took our order was lovely but she was informed by the "floor manager" that we are not allowed to share a meal and each person has to order their own meal. Ridiculous! I have never been to a restaurant where I cannot share a meal with someone. As someone who suffers with an eating disorder - big portions of food make me very anxious and uncomfortable. Especially in public places. For this reason, I will not be returning to this restaurant to eat in. There are plenty of reasons why people might want/need to share a meal. I don't agree that there should be a rule of every individual has to order something. Please reconsider your eating in rules!

Chips greasy don't go in there after 7.30 there is nothing there long waiting times for them to cook anything counter mostly empty of cooked food /parking terrible red lines everywhere camera watching won't be going back there

I have ordered vegetable dish. Chicken dish. SPECIAL Fried rice ,Singapore noodles and Eon tun soup ,it is awful food .very poor quality

Fantastic Sunday roast yet again! Family run business and all staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Roast dinner was perfect and plentiful thanks to chef Tony. Fully recommend you try this Fantastic pub .... booking recommended as its not surprisingly very popular!
