Go to Naked Dough if you want an excellent pizza or pasta at less than the price of a pizza from you-know-who and without the rip-off add-ons. All the pizzas and pasta dishes are made on the premises by the chef / owner and really good they are too. There is only one main that isn't pasta or pizza and that's steak but there are veggie options for the pastas and pizzas, GF pasta too. Support your local independent restaurant, not some faceless chain.

We went as a family to the coach house, we are regular visitors and are never disappointed. Today I tried a fairly new special, beef lasagna with salad. It was absolutely delicious, a really good serving well presented, plenty of meat and lots of cheese on top. I will certainly hav8e it again. My husbands fish and chips was as usual really enjoyed and my son's cheeseburger really tasty with hot well cooked chips. I had no room for dessert which was a shame as their selection of cakes is superb. Staff as usual friendly and attentive. One of our favourite places to go.

Went for some small plates and a drink this evening and just wanted to write a review to say how wonderful our waitress was. Not sure of her name but she had lovely makeup and her hair in a pretty wavy bun! She was super friendly and helpful not to mention very impressively professional, she was hosting the entire section we were seated in and did a great job. Unfortunately some rude family got angry about not being able to put a chair at the end of their table (it was a pretty clear health and safety hazard) and tried to have a go at her but she handled them with such elegance and class and went straight back to her smiley self after! Will deffo be returning :)

Propee boozer. Cheap drink. Good crowd of people. Can't beat it. There ain't many good ol' school pubs like this about anymore. Best pint in Croydon at the best price.

Just had a meal at Rupees in Shirley. Very friendly restaurant run by Roger and Ray. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the service was excellent. The two guys who run it are so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Will define going back there soon.

We visit mostly on Sunday lunchtimes. The menu is really varied. You get huge portions! Just like home cooked food - cost is reasonable - love it!

Booked for Chinese New Year with friends, had a lovely evening. It was extremely busy which may be why staff weren’t quite as attentive with replacing cutlery (as soon as we managed to get someone’s attention, cutlery was replaced quickly). Food was delicious, non greasy, atmosphere was great and the bonus of having the New Year lion dance was the cherry on the top! Will definitely re-visit.

Absolutely great pub friendly staff great selection of drinks and food great garden for the summer and love that they allow dogs into the pub

Too Good Too Go Salad £2.99. Felt ripped off, 2nd time of ordering TGTG and always ONE box of half old filled Salad (always a large tomato in there taking up half the space). No sauce, no rolls. Very basic. Reviews for TGTG are very poor for most Harvesters average 3 stats. Think they should be removed or provide the food that is described. Boxes of salad and rolls and sauces. Never had a full bowl yet always 5 on sale and generally 5 or 4 left end of the day. What does that tell you Harvester?

Ordered Chinese when it arrived I carried from front door to kitchen to realise that the bag was leaking a little bit and went on my carpet Oil and sauce so then called the shop and explained what had happened and they said was it my fault not interested at all and didn’t even apologise so this is a warning to check your bad before you walk it through ure home
