Best boozer in town. Dog friendly.

Propee boozer. Cheap drink. Good crowd of people. Can't beat it. There ain't many good ol' school pubs like this about anymore. Best pint in Croydon at the best price.

First time in here. Bestest time I could I have ask for (for want of a better term of English language - I apologise) Absolute Legends of bar staff! Special mention to Fran (Francesca) she’s a girl who defo knows how to read the room! 5 massive stars to that one girl! Much appreciated her presence. We all throughly enjoyed our night there tonight. Here’s to many more xx

Very bright and clean service pleasant and polite only thing that let it down was the bad language from the barmaid while talking with customers something I find unacceptable in the service industry

Right even the landlady will say its rough around edges but looks in this case are decieving its a friendly local pub a proper old town pub greeat value great customers no aggression anywhere everyone chilled out and relaxed the disco karaoke was great too well i had to say that as i was the dj karaoke show host well worth a visit if you want a drink without having to look over your shoulder decent safe friendly pub

Beer was fine, didn't try the food. The beer garden needed a bit of a spruce up.

My home away from home. Love the Shirley Inn always fantastic for football and rugby on Saturdays and the guvnor always remembers me :-)

It's a bit no frills as pubs go. More suited to people wanted a few beers while watching the football. They do food which is a good price and is ok. Not really somewhere I'd take the kids.
