Went for some small plates and a drink this evening and just wanted to write a review to say how wonderful our waitress was. Not sure of her name but she had lovely makeup and her hair in a pretty wavy bun! She was super friendly and helpful not to mention very impressively professional, she was hosting the entire section we were seated in and did a great job. Unfortunately some rude family got angry about not being able to put a chair at the end of their table (it was a pretty clear health and safety hazard) and tried to have a go at her but she handled them with such elegance and class and went straight back to her smiley self after! Will deffo be returning :)

Excellent service, ambience, service was great and they really catered to me and my family. Roxy went out of her way to make sure we was happy.. Will defo visit again..

Understaffed and cold. Food is dry as paper had ribs ordered medium rare got charred cardboard, no follow up customer service mid meal as per normal- fine maybe understaffed - don't provide the service if you can't provide it properly, still waiting to get a new rack of ribs less dehydrated and chewy. Did not recommend coming here, regret coming back, stay away. * Edit got refunded money for meal, they don't do fresh food their food is precooked and warmed up/grilled so it would be impossible to get medium rare ribs, my request was unheard or overlooked on order as that's when the fine print would and should have been made clear, breakdown in communication. Staff handled unfortunate situation well.

I'm sorry to say that the food leaves alot to desire me and my wife both had brocoli and peas all seem very well done looked like mash brocoli the service we had to get to get our deserts overall for the price They can do much better . Ps and they where not busy.

Be careful what you choose to eat.

It was Valentine's day and no effort was made to the interior. Not one heart. still had some Christmas baubles on display. Other than that enjoyed the new additions of crunchy cornbread with honey and the cod tacos.

Came for a family meal having been a few times before. Very disappointed overall as the table was sticky, the cutlery was not clean and neither were our plates we were served on. The food itself was not great. Lacked flavour. Salad bar did not label ingredients of food that was not just a vegetable which I think is important for allergens. People with allergens should not have to avoid it all together. Staff were kind but the service was slow. Will not be returning to this branch any time soon.

Friendly staff. Had the mixed grill upgraded and busted me. Really well cooked. Defo go again.

4 of us had a very enjoyable evening meal at the Harvester. Gary, our server provided an excellent service.

Went to have breakfast with my sister and her kids. Lots of choice and a good menu. I ordered the classic breakage only for them to come back 10 mins late advising they have no scrambled egg but I can have poached or fried! I was baffled as was everyone else. Only to be told they but it in ready made and they had none in stock! This is madness it's not that hard to make on site! Having said all that the service was fantastic and the lady that served us was lovely.

I deducted one star for atmosphere because unfortunately we chose to visit on a Wednesday afternoon and it appears a particular family lunch there Wednesday weekly. We had the Misfortune of been seated behind them. They were atrocious. From the eldest to the youngest. Spoilt our otherwise lovely lunch.

I was really blown away by the staff. I have a nut and seed allergy, and they were so helpful and reassuring, making my visit very welcoming and I felt at ease. Good food, cleanliness was good and the staff amazing Thank you 😊 And I purchased there famous "Kickin Garlic Sauce" so now I can have at home aswell 😋

Went here recently and had some very good hamburgers, fries and meals.Roxi served us pretty quickly and was very kind and friendly.Made our late evening great.We are looking to come back soon!

A bit cold sometimes when you pay high price for drinks But the staff are great considering they’re under pressure at busy period cannot fault them at all The food is as you expect in a chain nothing to complain about

There was no rotisserie chicken available, no top up drinks, with 4 bottles of coke left in stock. The waitress did really well. It felt like they'd run out of stock and wasn't able to go out locally to top up stock ready for customers

Bobby was amazing as for the other staff arguing and leaving poor Bobby to do everything

Pleasantly surprised with how well the food was. We had the chicken festive roast dinner (the Yorkshire pud and roast potatoes were excellent). For the price a good roast dinner and suggest that Harvester as a chain should introduce a Sunday roast to their menu. Overall good value for money as you also have access to the salad bar. Drinks also reasonably priced.

Great pre Christmas family meal

Nothing was great. Was there from 6:30 pm to 9pm and we only had 1 meal each. Table of 12. No one asked if we wanted a starter or deserts. No one checked to see if we were happy. The bill came to £201. I was expecting and prepared to spend is essence of £300. Awful service.

REVIEW FOR THE HARVESTER'S FESTIVE MENU (DECEMBER, NOT INCLUDING CHRISTMAS DAY OR BOXING DAY) The good: Service was wonderful. Waitresses and bar staff were very personable and friendly. They rushed to help when a member of my family had a fall and were very caring. The salad bar is also lovely, and I like the fact it is included on meals over £7 in value. Didn't have the starter, as I had the salad instead. Lovely pudding, most of the family had ice cream. Staff very understanding with swaps, and the kids seemed to enjoy their brownie. The bad: The food, for the most part. In the roast dinner the turkey was dry and the broccoli was rock hard. The food that is advertised on the Christmas dinner promotion is also not what's included on the plate. Bizarrely, no sprouts? The toilets were lacking, with one of them failing to flush and the others being messy (not necessarily the staff's fault). Also the cheesy mushroom starter was grey and tasteless, which is bizarre as I have had it before and it was lovely. Perhaps it was just an off day, but it was completely unappetising. Overall: I enjoyed my experience and my meal, but several family members who had the roast dinner did not enjoy it. Maybe avoid the roast and go for the burger, which I had and enjoyed.

Lovely little Harvester! Roxi was our server and was kind, warm and welcoming. It was nice and quiet for a late Sunday evening so the atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious and we look forward to coming back again! Thank you Roxi for making our experience a good one!

The chef called bo was very helpful when it comes to making sure the allergy is all good before sending them out.

This Harvester is the best I’ve been in. The staff are excellent, very professional, especially Roxi . This lady is always there when needed, She is very friendly and makes sure you are always being looked after. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

Back in time was great ,but now a bit dated and tired, salad bar could be a bit better ,price's could be bit more reasonable and place needs deep clean bit corn bread taste of nothing baked potato hard half chicken not able eat properly because of silly new plate that are to small and the Christmas Dinner a waste of time hard veg and to little one carrot 12 peas not very much turkey not nice at all served on silly plate don't think I will ever go there again shame

Best service ever, Gary was very welcoming and the chicken was so succulent it almost melted in my mouth. The juices and seasoning was on point. Made me feel some type of way I never knew existed.

Been here a few times for various reasons, staff are great, nice place, always disappointed with the chicken sizes, three mouthfuls and it's gone, so I avoid that now, always come away a bit underwhelmed tbh. And I absolutely Hate the rectangular plates, just horrible.

My family paid a visit on Wednesday 6/11/24, the first time we had been in 15 years where we were once regulars. It was the perfect end to a hard and heart-wrenching day. The food was amazing and the Rocky Horror was just as indulgent as we remembered. A special mention to Mandy, our server. She was friendly, efficient and very patient with our large and slightly awkward order. I encountered a minor issue with my meal and she went above and beyond to make up for an issue that really wasn't that big of a deal to me. Thank you Mandy, The Chefs and the team who work to create such a warm and wonderful place

It's a harvester, if you've been to one you know they are all very similar. The cricketers is a particularly good one though. Lots of parking, staff are professional and welcoming, food was good. Been a number of times and we will be going again. :)

Typical Harvester fare...good steak and pleasant serving staff. Went this evening with youngest daughter Chloe and my grandson Aiden and had an excellent meal. Grandson loved his child's steak and chips but the star of the show for him was his 'build your own sundae'!

We booked last minute and that was no issue. Dale greeted us and sat is down straight away and was very friendly and attentive. I don't usually like harvester for breakfast but my husband does but today the food was delicious! Thanks for a nice start to a day off

Really nice breakfast visit. Server Dale was great. I know the restaurant runs minimal staff for the morning but we were never left to wait any undue length of time. Only loss of stars is not on my server but the restaurant could do with just upping the cleaning schedule. The pictures at the side of the table had dried food on them and the BBQ bottle came with a free head hair from a previous owner but nothing the waiting staff can deal with during play, defo something for the close or pre open walk around.

12 minutes to place order, despite advising greeter that I knew what I wanted and was in a rush. Bargain price for bargain food - bonus was no food poisoning this time.

Jennelle was brilliant. We came in as a huge table of 6 adults and 4 kids and one child with allergy . Not an easy table to manage but she smashed it. She was amazing with the kids, changing orders when one of the kids changed his mind, made sure the kid’s ice lolly was wrapped in a napkin and even stopped to talk to the baby. Food was delicious and was served fast and hot. The allergy food was given clearly. The staff all sang happy birthday with a microphone and a bell. Overall amazing experience

Amazing service from jennelle, we came as a big table and had a big allergy concern. She read back our order making sure it was correct and even read back the allergy note. We had kids at the table and she was very helpful with understanding the kids orders. As a person who also works in hospitality I could easily see how our table could be considered stressful, but her customer service was excellent and she was calm, smiley, happy and seemed very passionate for her job. The food was excellent and very filling. I 100% recommend and am very happy with the service.

Went here and had a very nice meal. Harvester is comfort food in big portions. It’s good value for money. I enjoyed the meats I had and eating my partners too who had a huge platter. The salad bar is yum and I liked all the things I took from there . The portions were so big was a struggle to finish but overall a very good meal and I enjoyed for what it was. Service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was nice and quiet when we went .

After a negative experience at a different harvester last year we were sceptical to return. However, this experience has brought us back. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Due to the current peanut allergen crisis my usual order was unavailable to me, but the staff helped me find a suitable alternative. I was pleased to see that the lemon blizzard dessert had returned to the menu, so that made everything better!

The food here is really quite good, we all enjoyed our meals, we had to wait a while for service though, we were ordering drinks from bar so not refills and expected it to be a little more prompt. This also happened when we ordered desert, waited more than 25mins for the desert, and in the end told them not bother as needed to get back. They removed the deserts from the bill no problem, so service is good when you get their attention, food was great, and the place was a harvester. Salad was fresh, would come back.

I needed a very quick breakfast and Dale made sure I got in and out in the time I had. The food was tasty too!

Had a booking for 1pm, arrived slightly early so was expecting a wait, but was seated straight away! Not busy at all, was given menus straight away and was ready to order within 5 minutes. No one came to our table after 15 minutes so gave benefit of the doubt that they may be short staffed but after another 10 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. Was left with no server coming to us after 25 minutes. We walked past the lady who sat us on the way out and she said nothing!

Great place, lots of free parking. Friendly staff and great food. Dale was excellent with his help and service.
