The whole experience was great food was delicious our server jennelle was amazing. We’re regular harvester visitors but this was above the normal level of good!

After a negative experience at a different harvester last year we were sceptical to return. However, this experience has brought us back. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Due to the current peanut allergen crisis my usual order was unavailable to me, but the staff helped me find a suitable alternative. I was pleased to see that the lemon blizzard dessert had returned to the menu, so that made everything better!

The food here is really quite good, we all enjoyed our meals, we had to wait a while for service though, we were ordering drinks from bar so not refills and expected it to be a little more prompt. This also happened when we ordered desert, waited more than 25mins for the desert, and in the end told them not bother as needed to get back. They removed the deserts from the bill no problem, so service is good when you get their attention, food was great, and the place was a harvester. Salad was fresh, would come back.

Had a booking for 1pm, arrived slightly early so was expecting a wait, but was seated straight away! Not busy at all, was given menus straight away and was ready to order within 5 minutes. No one came to our table after 15 minutes so gave benefit of the doubt that they may be short staffed but after another 10 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. Was left with no server coming to us after 25 minutes. We walked past the lady who sat us on the way out and she said nothing!

I needed a very quick breakfast and Dale made sure I got in and out in the time I had. The food was tasty too!

Decent quality. Same as most other locations. Everyone got a good portion.

Usually very good. Last time we had to wait a long time for our main food and the carpark lights were all turned off when we left so couldn't see properly.

They have an unlimited salad bar with bread, sauces, and pasta! The waiters are so kind, and the service is so fast!

Well what can i say. After a few funny disasters at the edenbridge and oxtead show, we came here to relax for a meal. The chicken kebab i had was lovely although i ate it the next day as i was full after the mushrooms. But as it happened our quiet time was short lived by a medical emergency. I do hope the member of staff has recoveŕed.

Had the chicken skewers that were very dry did ask for a large chicken skewer Thank god the waitress got it wrong as I would have been more distorted Then delivered the wrong pudding by this time all I wanted to do was to go home Should have said something about the pudding but as j already said something about the chicken. There was something good about this evening my brother enjoyed his pork belly and pudding glad about that

Food and service was good but salad bar was closed.

I'm giving this one star because I ordered a "Banana and Chocolate Waffle" and received a waffle with ice cream on it and in each corner of the square plate there was thin slice of banana with a tiny dollop of chocolate sauce on it. It's as close to not being a "chocolate and banana waffle" as you can get. Considering what was on the plate cost no more than 50p to make it was a complete con.

Food is ok at best but the children enjoy it! There is a salad bar but fairly basic, once again the children enjoy it. The staff are lovely however and overall a cheap fun dinner out for the kids.

Everything was amazing. Welcomed by a lovely host upon entrance, was seated very quickly with no booking and Dale took great care of us from first drink until paying for our meal. He was very polite, friendly and warm. Would 100% recommend coming here.

Pleasant Harvester with friendly staff. We came at the end of an evening in the summer after a busy service when they were virtually clearing up. However they brought us fresh refills of salad directly to the table and served us really well. It just took a while to get seated as that were short staffed. Friendly and pleasant. My chicken was a bit dry compared to other Harvesters but I put this down to the fact we were the last to eat and we were just happy to be fed!

My family and I went into Harvester yesterday. Orders were taken but waited for 30m minutes for our food. Some of us went up to the salad bar because we were starving. Heard a tall man in the kitchen verbally abusing staff members about the meals. At no point did I ever see him take a plate of food out of the kitchen. Lack of staff and very poor management. Won't be coming back again.

Very friendly staff who made a real effort from the moment we entered. Good food - salad bar very fresh and topped up ALL the time. Mains were lovely - piping hot and generous portions. Desserts - well presented, tasted good and were huge! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Food always good lovely for a treat

First time l gave 3 stars to harvester at Addington Village. Not usual staff on possibly due to holidays etc. Food was over cooked and quite tough, steak hard and burnt, ribs rock gard not at all tasty and quite bland, mushrooms unseasoned and boiled not grilled. Certainly not their usual standard. Desserts were rather poor ice cream instead directly on a plate were in tiny metal cups that the spoon didn't fit properly. To say l was disappointed is understatement, my wife was very disappointed as we were going else where but sge insisted we went their. Party in the park made it more difficult to access the harvester. I will give them another go but not till after the holidays. Parking on that night was rammed full didn't help with certain individual taking up 1.5 bays with one car - selfish but can't blame that on the harvester.

Waiting for too long. Not enough staff and very slow service. The chair I was sitting was damaged too.

We arrive just before 6:30pm. The restaurant was empty, due to football games being played in the evening. Food took almost 1 hour to arrive. Salad bar looked a mess and empty, didn’t seem like they do regular checks and clean the counters. Presentation was horrible when the food arrived. We had overcooked and burnt roast chicken. The chips were refried in oil and stale. The mixed grill platter was overcooked and unappealing to dig in. The salad didn’t look fresh, everything looked dry and left out too long.

Lovely dinner rump steak cooked to perfection, starters were very nice. Staff were very attentive

I love a Harvester and have dined regularly in various locations. The kids love it too and I always leave with a full belly and happy kids! Prices have increased of late and portions are smaller (aren't they everywhere) but it's still a great place for a family meal. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for anytime so a very chilled meal. Food and drink was good and the atmosphere perfect for families and couples alike.

Service is quick food is tasty, lovely location. Only issues is the salad bar isn’t updated fast enough so items run low and seeing staff eventually topping up the items with the pre packaged clear boxes removes the illusion that the salad is freshly done

Arrived on time, ignored by 2 members of staff and had to ask if there was anyone to seat us. Staff member seemed put out to be asked! LEFT!

Beautiful place with the most kind and amazing people there.. Such an awesome welcome and my friends and myself had a great time.. We thought of spending more time but we needed to catch a train.. We are coming back again and again 🤩🤩🤩

Great food was excellent my wife and I took her sister there for her birthday. My son came with us and he brought her a cake. After our meal all staff came out singing happy birthday. My sister in law was over the moon. Many thanks to all the staff. The meal was very good and good value for money. My wife and l will definitely be back for some more yummy food.

Their food and salad bar is exceptional and hospitality is top notch 👌. I'll recommend it for anyone seeking an extraordinary experience to try it and you won't regret it

We have ordered twice via deliveroo recently and it appears they struggle to read the orders as both times they had items missing and substitutions without acknowledgement. The substitutions in one meal meant it was an entirely different meal from what was ordered. Tonight's meal was so poorly cooked it was inedible. They didn't provide the salads that were ordered and when I called to express disappointment the manager really didn't seem to care one bit. An awful, inedible meal and a manager who is unable to understand that complaints need to be taken seriously. I'll give them a miss from now on.

This place is ideal to meet and chat with friends, booking is a must as they have limited tables to comply with covid regulations. Limited menu. Friendly helpful staff

Service very very bad never go there again After one year I give it and other go on Tuesday 25/5/24. For dinner the staff said can't order anything with chicken as has ru out. And before we finnish the main course. The bill came to table with out asking and funny enough before 9 40pm we were told restorant is closed so we left our drinks and got out guess have to try after 1 year again lol and c what happens Shame Bromley one is very gd service food so I have been gone to Bromley which is far from me but we'll worth it as Croydon branch is rubbish food or service

Busy for parties so sometimes loud and I'd definitely recommend booking if you want to eat. But for drinks and bar snacks it's always fine.

Came for a family meal there was 7 of us. Service was good food was decent. Only thing is son got food poisoning from here.

Fantastic variety including vegetarian options. Salad bar and breads a lovely addition and a good variety. Good portion sizes, ample parking, friendly staff. The Nacho bean burger and cheese and spinach filled pasta shells were fab. Prices a bit on the high side for the style of restaurant

This review is about what happened to us on arrival at The Crickets - the table service was good, but rather spoiled by the rudeness of staff on our arrival. I had booked a table for three for my birthday which was on the day we came. I had booked almost a week in advance in my name for 1 pm. We arrived inside your restaurant less than five minutes after 1 pm. But two of your staff were unable to find my booking in your computer and were unpleasant and rude despite my showing your booking confirmation and reminder on my phone. They were both unable to find my surname in your digital list of visitors, despite my having been the person who booked. We were told we had "turned up too early" despite the fact that we had arrived almost dead on 1 pm and certainly were not early. This was apparently because the table for us was not ready. Both I and my son, who is a professional Chef, found your staff uncaring and seemingly blaming us for their inability to find my name or to seat us. We just had to stand by the desk while they carried on looking for our booking. It took a third staff member to finally take us to a table - not apparently the table I had booked. At that point, we could see that our third member for lunch had already been seated and on the table that we had apparently booked. He had told your staff when he arrived shortly before us that the booking was in my name. This was an unpleasant start to what was intended as a celebration of my birthday; we did not sit down until 1.15 and your first two staff were unfriendly and unprofessional rather than apologetic, welcoming and helpful. I live close to The Crickers and have dined with you many times over the years, but I have never been treated like this by two of your staff members and it did spoil my enjoyment of my birthday treat.

I went to The Cricketers,Addington with my husband for my birthday. The ribeye steaks where really tender and cooked to perfection. As was the pepper sauce. I certainly would go again.

Had gone back after a few months, but from the time we entered, we did not feel welcome at all . The man who took us to the table did not even look interested in us. All together, the service standards had gone down drastically. No one checked on how the food was, and no one asked for a repeat drink. It looked really under staffed Felt portion sizes have gone down, and prices have gone up We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and we did not get an experience we were expecting from a harvester.

Great 3 course lunch. Service was quick but had to ask for tap water. Recommended for a family lunch or dinner out.
