Kebab Express in Croydon

Worst kebab shop in the whole of Uk. Do not order here. They charged £15 for a £5 portion, the food quality was poor, and a whole part of my order was missing.

AVOID AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!!! Ordered through Uber Eats today, 3 doner kebabs, only received 2. Called Kebab Express explaining the situation, I was asked for my postcode and address, no name was asked, as I was telling him my postcode, he was constantly talking over me, kept saying 'we know we know' not too sure if the person took any notice of my correct home address for redelivery, so they can use their own drivers to deliver from 17.44pm, and will be delivered 'soon' still no delivery at 18.30pm, still waiting for the delivery, its now 19.33pm and guess what, NO DELIVERY! Are we suppose to wait 5 more minutes, 10 minutes, next week, a month? 19.35pm driver turns up and says he was given a postcode of SOUTH EAST, WE LIVE IN SW!!!! Refused the food as we already taken the refund from Uber Eats. Maybe before ordering, look at the reviews, which I should have done before ordering! Such a bad experience, wished i could give -1 :(

Ordered lamb shish on uber eats, without checking hygiene ratings or reviews, worst decision I have ever made. It didn't taste like lamb, it was poorly spiced, it did not taste fresh, arrived soggy. The pieces of meat were not bite size , it was more like slices of meat, shoved into a pitta.

Made an order and told I couldn't pay with card? I said do you take card in general? he looked at me horridly and said Cash is easier. Filth.

Best kebab in town delicious food ,friendly staffs

Extremely delicious doner and wings - their garlic sauce is unique cannot be found/made anywhere else. Will recommend to everyone!!!!!

A local kebab shop that has been open for many years and I would recommend to go to them. They’re one of the best local kebab shops you have to come to. Their food is always spot on and their customer service is always second to none

This shop is full of creeps, they make you feel uncomfortable even when not buying from their shop they look at women and girls (ANY AGE)like they are easy to get or meat all 4 of them, absolutely disgusting and I am sure I am not the only one that feels uncomfortable walking past this shop especially when it’s next to the station, now imagine actually being in this shop how they must make women feel, this needs to stop they have been like this for years not a good image for their business !! Avoid!!!

Really disgusting I found a huge hair in my burger just to let you know I took that hair put outside the box so everyone can see visibly please take a note of it absolute awful they're clearly not clean in the kitchen they should be closed I'm discouraged to ever eat from this run down, shop they're chips are dry burger was pink inside what on earth is going the sauces are fake too tasteless it's like they're food has been frozen then microwaved please people steer clear if you have any decency, respect for your well being and family I would strongly urge & caution you stay away & save your money no wonder they're food arrives within a span of 5 mins uncooked they're chefs should not be conferred the title chefs as they're clearly not other than a random person just trying to heat food to take your money so once again people steer clear and hold your budget very tight as these individuals will not take your health, well being into account when sending you uncooked frozen food!

Poor Quality. Terrible portion sizes. Uncooked chips!!! Small 1-inch strips of donor. Absolutely awful customer service, should have left as soon as I entered. Save your hard earned cash folks, Eat anywhere but avoid here. Stay Away. Disgusting.

Man I usually love this place, but they got it seriously wrong this time. Luke warm on arrival even know the driver was really quick, large was at best a standard size and they didn't put any sauce I requested on it! Plain kebab no thanks, 1 star

Order cold as cyclist delivering had another delivery before mine,asked for pittas to be separate ,meat came inside pittas.expected sauces to be in pots ,meal looked totally inedible (combination of cold greasy meat and mixture of sauce)wouldn’t order again definitely

Chicken doner wasn't fresh at all also the guy was making food he was using his hand to itch inside his pants ewww and didn't even was his hands and continued to making food.., always heard bad stuff about them but for sure not going back there again and I would recommend not to buy food from here.

Food was disgusting found piece of hair not once but twice not willing to refund or give a new one, even the shop is disgracefull it's too dirty, u see flies around the meat and salad.

Kebab was ok, fries is overcooked and cold, salad is all over the place.. and very disappointed with packaging, very sloppy, like they just dumped it on the container. I asked for extra sauce on the side, but just dumped it on the meat. Ofcourse when it arrive the sauce spilled everywhere as the packaging is just this in a single plastic bag all cramped together and salad placed sideways. Ofcourse it will spill.

Always freshly cooked and enjoyable to eat. Staff are friendly and helpful. Although deliveries have started the only drawback is that they are cash only.

ordered a combination kebab for £9:40 !!! the kofta meat was very RUBBERY and felt SICK after eating it. Threw most of it away - WORST KEBAB EVER !!!

Hi, Very good service and very good food.

The short fella serving seemed very reluctant to say please and thank you, the irony is that I the "customer" was the one saying please and thank you. It should be the other way round. He made me feel as if I had done something wrong which I didn't as I am always very polite. I found that rather unpleasant. He also uses his bare hands to turn the pitta bread on the grill AFTER handling my money and AFTER using the till. Anyway in regards to the food, the standard of the meat seems to have dipped quite significantly, it didn't help matters as he flooded my doner kebab with way too much chilli sauce, it was a chore to eat it hence half went in the bin, the chips were nice I must say.

Wings tasted burnt chips were mushy small portion of salad and after asking for garlic sauce opened the box to see bland and boring wings and chips with no sauce would not recommend

Regular customer here, this place used to have the best kebabs until recently, I bought a kebab which must of been swimming in the ocean it was so soggy hardly recognisable as lamb donor 🤢 these guys have let standards slip won’t be seeing me again !

The best chicken doner wrap in my area. Staff is friendly. Chicken doner wrap is juicy, tender. And even the chips is crispy, and tasty.Well done!

They short changed me £1 watch your change here . They was arguing and doing food very unprofessional and unacceptable food was ok not all that a bit overpriced for the amount you get . Not all that .

Local kebab place. Ordered a large lamb kofte on 26/05/2015 @ 8.45pm. Place got busy with customers making questions - "extra pitta", "how much is 2 chips and burger. Stood at the counter seeing my large kofted charcoaling ... and after that ... Saw it packed up in pitta and served to me for take away ... Said: "it's burned". Elderly gentleman, oldest of the cooks said: "it's good, it's crispy". Black is not crispy or good ... it's burned ... I get it. You got busy, you got to deal with needy customers, but don't get it on me. I was willing to pay, but not for charcoal.

I love this place, open till 2.30am Monday to Wednesday, till 3.30am Thursday, and 4am Friday and Saturday! Good quality food, consistently good, wonderful staff, always wearing their uniform and clean place. I think food hygiene rating is 4 or 5. Good portion sizes and good prices too.

I've bought food from here several times. Great food. Polite staff. Hygienic. All good. When I was there this evening, however, I happened to be the only customer in the shop as I ordered a large chicken kebab. I got home 10 minutes later and tucked in. Halfway through I got to the meat. Lamb donor. C'mon guys

Well, i never got served for a good 15 minutes. Staff was useless, running around like headless chickens, theres like 6-7 of them trying to serve the same customer, no organisation at all. Can’t speak for the food, as they never wanted to serve me. Just head down to Emek Kebab down the road.

Excellent staff and great tasting food. Chips are always excellent and I love going for the mixed kebab. Best kebab I've ever been to. I recommend that you should at least try it once. If you are scared eating here because the food is halal. Don't worry too much as all meat (except pork) in the UK is actually halal. If a meat packet or restraunt does not have the halal sign. It's only because the meat hasn't been blessed.

Best kebabs in Thornton Heath maybe even in the whole of Croydon, try the mixed donor wraps or the wings meal which is a bargain for how much you get

I don't come here very often, but I've been going for almost 20 years. The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing, one of the best kebab shops in Thornton Heath! Prices are a little higher than competitors but it's what you'd expect for the quality you get. Chicken doner is definitely better than any other shop I've had it at!
