Firebellys (Pizza shop delivery 4 miles) in Croydon

Not even bothering to answer the phone to order what a rubbish shop

I ordered three pizzas on line yesterday at 16.00 for 18.00. At 17.00 firebelly's phoned and asked if I would like them delivered early as they had just cooked them? I said no, as I had ordered them for six. Firebelly's explained that they would cook new pizzas and deliver them for six as arranged on line. I think that firebelly's delivered the pizzas from 17.00. They just seemed stale. They didn't have the crisp snap of a fresh pizza. One hour old pizza. Not the best look. I won't be using them again.

Dear Firebellys, what is going on? Me and my partner ordered yesterday evening a vegetarian pizza + Sicilia pizza, both 15". The vegetarian was more looking like a Margherita with lot of melted cheese, a little bit of tomato passata with some vegetables dropped here and there... We will order again next time just to check if you'll go back to prepare the delicious vegetarian pizza you once did...?! Saving on ingredients, such as saving on vegetables on a vegetarian pizza will just lead you to losing customers.

Ordered a 16" margherita pizza. I have never seen a base so thin in my life may aswell of gave me toast and cheese would of been thicker and was way over cooked avoid this place food is not good at all

Good food- Terrible service. Thoroughly enjoyed the food the first 2 times we ordered. However I doubt I will order again after my last experience.. I placed my order at 2.15pm and received it 2hr later at 4.15pm!! That was after me calling the restaurant to explain I was having guests over and needed the food promptly. Worse still, when I called the next day to complain and ask for some sort of refund, the manager sarcastically said he would come and collect the pizzas in return for the refund! Much to my horror, 2 men THEN arrived at my door to collect the stale pizza! Putrid attitude and arrogance from the manager. What a letdown as I truely enjoyed the food the first few times 👎

Food ordered 4.12pm, food arrived 5.58pm after being told delivery time would be 20 mins after order went in. Food was cold and tasteless , foul would be a kind description. I will never again order from them, total waste of money and ruined what was meant to be a nice meal. Complained not even an offer of a good will gesture !

This is the lowest rating I can put 1st. If I could I would rate it lower than sub zero. Placed order over the phone - only to find out that half of my order was no longer on the menu, then chose some different options Was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes, 1hour 10 minutes later it was ready. Once home with the food - the Spaghetti bolognese was very dry and the lasagne was like eating cardboard & the pizza we ordered only had 2 pieces of chicken on it. We have eaten better meals from the basic range from a supermarket than what we received from firebellys. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAUGE!! SO YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. I don't ever leave reviews, but this needs to be said.

Great pizza, excellent service will order it again

I ordered the La Fame Pizza which was tasty and filling (I ordered Medium).

For some reason, the dough and the ingredients now have changed and the pizza is like a average delivery pizza. Quite dissapointed. Before it was a reference restaurant and now is not good.

They have change the recipe in the pizza and the quality of the ingredients. Totally shame, it was my favourite pizza place before. Not buying again.

Ideally I would like to leave 0 stars.....Ordered an Al forno penne pasta dish which was meant to be with ground beef. I have no idea what meat was used, but it certainly wasn't ground beef. Possibly some sort of diced up sausage, but no idea if it was even meat. It gave the 'sauce' a very odd oily and spicy flavour and the appearance of wet dog food. Absolutely disgusting. If you have run out of the stated ingredients rather don't serve the meal. Surely for the purpose of labelling and allergens, customers should know what they're eating?

Horrible pizza and over 1 hours for delivery (Always late) Really bad customer service. Not recommend this place.

Love this place must get Calzone. Expensive but worth it. Do nice. Packed with food. Cooked properly. Might actually get one on my way home writing this

Great orthentic pizzas in Purley five stars all day long

Food is amazing but had a undercooked squashed, pizza emailed store and no response in over a month called as I wanted to speak to the manager about my email the possibly order the person on the phone was rude and didn't understand my point of wanting to speak to a manager then said he will call me back. Of course he didn't call me back as he didn't bother taking my number. The food may have tasted good but the manner I received it was appalling. Also the fact that all this time No1 has bothered get back to me I will never be ordering from them again. Awful customer service

I was very ill from eating here and it completely ruined my birthday weekend. After speaking to Just Eat the place offered me 15% off of my next order - as if! Never again.

I ordered a calzone and a salad which was delicious and It was made with fresh ingredients. This Place would beat dominos, hut pizza and the rest of local pizza places. Top notch quality food and service. I will be ordering again. Keep up the good work firebellys.

The delivery took 1 hour and when my food arrived the pizza crusts were burnt but the middle was under cooked... I also specifically ordered a BBQ base and didn't receive it.. my pizza was drowning in greese to the point it dropped when I picked the pizza up and it wasn't cut either over all horrible experience and will never purchase there again...

Had a calzone delivered, it was hot fresh a huge. Great value for money will definitely recommend and use again.

We ordered 2 pizzas; they arrived 20 mins late, were almost cold and were frankly the worst takeaway pizzas we have ever had. The base was crunchy, the toppings very poor quality and we feel we could have made better pizzas ourselves in less time than they took to arrive. Needless to say we will not be using Firebelly's again.

The Best Pizza and Calzone in Purley. We use to have pizza from Firebellys once a week and is always very tasty and the delivery punctual and precise. Really good pizza if you are looking for something healthy and Tasty and you are bored by Pizza Express just call them and give a try.
