Pizza so good I have to give 5 stars. (Just don’t get the garlic bread)

The best pizza in the Croydon and Bromley area. The dough is soft and crispy and delicious and the toppings are done with good quality ingredients. We are lucky to live round the corner. Forget your big chains like Dominoes this is proper grown up pizza and a real taste of Italy

So very glad to have 'discovered' this absolute gem of a restaurant. Top quality food, wonderful owner, superb friendly staff and a lovely cozy atmosphere make this a go-to place.

Naked Dough continues to be a local gem. The menu consists of classic Italian dishes, that are beautifully prepared and lovingly delivered by the owner and his staff. The intimate atmosphere of the restaurant with relatively few tables is adding to the charm of the place. Personal approach and a regular brief chat with the owner are also particularly appreciated.

There are regular run off the mill authentics Italian restaurant, what do we say a dime a dozen. Well this place is a cut above the rest, a hidden gem. The place oozes pedigree, the dishes well lets say it was one of the best pizzas I have in years, possibly decades. The host attentive, the decor and atmosphere, mate I thought I was in Sorrento, just stones throw from Napoli. I would also recommend the lemon sorbet as fresh as Dougie. An old school rapper btw. Classic ingredients, fantastic service and good music. Head down there, perfect for groups, first dates and want to impress, work functions and weekend meetings with mates or family. What are you still here, get your skates on and head on down there. The prices are really good, so pick up the phone and book that table or roll out ala Optimus Prime and get down there. 10 out of 10

Ordered through Uber Eats and added a wrong delivery address by mistake. Called the restaurant to try changing the delivery address and the women on the phone was super kind and helpful. I received my delivery to the address I asked for. Thanks so much. Most importantly, the quality of pizza is surely the best in the entire Croydon area. Strongly recommended to try!

Ottimo, complimenti al pizzaiolo! I came here for my birthday and was very impressed. Easily one of the best pizzas I've had in the UK or even Italy for that matter. Authentic quality ingredients, along with friendly staff and a relaxed setting. You'll be seeing a lot more of me.

Absolutely delicious pizza every time. Nice, light and crispy. Lovely owner and staff, very attentive and always keen to please. We will definitely be returning again. Delicious four cheese pizza and La Carnivora pizza.

A small quirky place than can easily be missed when driving by. Was recommended this place by my sister and am glad I have been to this. The staff and chef were very accommodating and helpful.

They delivered the wrong pizza

Garlic bread portion was shocking for the money I paid. 2 pieces of cold garlic bread wrapped in foil. I would like a refund. Not as advertised!

I popped into Naked Dough recently, purely on a whim and for the first time, as I needed to eat before going on to an evening meeting. I was delighted by the service (very friendly and welcoming staff) and I really enjoyed my Pizza and the bottle of Rock Star beer that was recommended to me. So, I would definitely visit again!

the best pizza i have ever had, proper authentic italian. downside? they don’t tell you that if you pay cash you pay less. I paid by card and got charged £2 extra. Happily going back there, but not paying card ever again.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Loved the place, the ambiance and the atmosphere. The food is excellent, I loved the pizza and my wife loved her Salmone pasta. They also catered for my daughter who is dairy and gluten intolerant. Will definitely revisit and highly recommended if you haven’t been there yet.

Very good Napoli style pizzas with fluffy crust.

We booked a table last minute an hour before closing time and we thought the pizza was superb and ambience was really nice. The staff are super friendly and nothing is too much, we also met the owner who was welcoming and friendly. Don't pass by this lovely restaurant. Will return.

Ordered a delivery last night and I'm not even a pizza girl but that calabrese pizza had everything that I love about pizza! Chewy soft sourdough crust, spicy ndjua, chillies, beautiful pepperoni, even the cheese was 10/10. Food did take a little while to arrive and was cold when it did but I expect they were busy on a Friday night and once I popped it in the oven for 5 mins it was perfect. Edit: To Julian - this is exactly why I like to support small businesses. The care you have for your customers translates through the food! If I could order directly from you without using one of the delivery apps, I would, but I think I need to come into the restaurant to get the full experience. Thank you 🙂

Now it has been teice my order was cancelled. Secobd one mostly dissapointing- 2 hours later on a Friday night. What a shame. Loved this place

Loved loved loved the pizzas here! My husband has always been a big fan of pizzas but Naked Dough by Romeo has been the first time where I understood why. The taste was so exquisite! Perfect on the level of spice too, the Calabrese was 🤌🏻 10/10 recommended ❤️ definitely coming back x

Have had a takeaway and wanted to say the food is must have. The mozzarella garlic bread is the best I have had. Still thinking of it! Next time certainly want to dine in!

Fantastically authentic food. I left my phone in the toilet and the owner very kindly dropped it in to me the next day! Now that’s what I call service. Look forward to going back to try the pizzas.

Fantastic dough , crisp calamari, molto saporito!

Pizza was really good; there was a little issue with the table arrangements at the beginning which was solved quickly. The waitress who was serving us was really attentive and really made our night a special one, we’ll definitely visit here again. The pizzas is amazing and the bruschetta was fresh; portion sizes are above average so you’ll definitely get good value for money. They even gave us these amazing organic chocolates after the meal.

We had a very pleasant evening here :) The pumpkin ravioli..mmm..DIVINE. The sage butter in it was incredible. Now I will try to learn how to cook with sage myself😁 Every piece of ravioli was eaten with my eyes closed, such a big pleasure I had! The pistachio cream+icecream was amazing as well, with a little secret bursting with flavor inside. The staff was very welcoming, kind and bubbly :) Thank you! We'll come back for sure ♥️

The crust was perfect but there was to much tomato sauce. Therefore it was very watery and soggy in the middle.

I might run out of compliments fot this place! Italian food is my favourite one, and who does not love pizza? BEST pizza in town and I dare anybody to show me otherwise ;) I literally cannot eat pizza anywhere else as these pizzas are second to none. Thin crust, rich sauce, tasty pepperoni, creamy cheese, all of them together are the perfect combo for an unforgettable pizza experience. But let's not forget about their bruschetta, I loved the Nduja one, nicely spicy. Also meatballs pasta is as fresh, tasty and delicious as you could ever expect it. Tender meatballs, sauce as rich and delicious as the pizza one and perfect pasta al dente. Last but not least, their service is extraordinary, good attention to details which makes them give you everything as you want it, the way you want it and always helping you find the most suitable meal for your palate. Thanks Tracy and Julian for bringing a bit of the wide Italian cuisine to Shirley, you have won a customer for life :)

Been here a few times now and the food is always amazing. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I would highly recommend Naked Dough to anyone wanting authentic food and a lovely relaxed setting.

BEST PIZZA IN LONDON! We order here at least 1 a month, we've never used anywhere else in about 2 years (When we first discovered it!). I mean when you have perfected the sourdough and cook it perfectly, a lot of pizzerias with the "artisan" style start to taste all the same....NOT romeos....the sauce is completely unique, its so fresh and bursting with flavours, im not doing it justice with how im describing it. Also i cant believe i haven't taken a picture of their pizza yet, i will post 1 soon for sure (as mentioned above...we go nowhere else!)
