This is such a great new restaurant. Very authentic Mexican food and family run, which gave it a great atmosphere. We've not tasted anything like this in London, and we are definitely coming back. Arguably the best place to eat in Crystal Palace full stop. Reasonable too, and great cocktails. Strong recommend!

Absolutely incredible Mexican food. The cacao chicken really took us by surprise, and some of the best Margherita's we've had. Check it out as soon as you can, we had to be rolled out.

Wow - what a hidden gem. Incredible food, big portions that do not compromise on flavour or punch. Beautiful cocktails (margaritas to die for). Potentially the best Mexican food I’ve had in London. They have been serving the mexican food for a year or so now but only just added it to the menu officially. Really friendly chef and serving staff too. Tacos Al Pastor pictured. Everything is home made from scratch with fresh ingredients.

Nice to have authentic, tasty and generously filled tacos. Hard sometimes to find a good mexican. Family run restaurant, so this was sweet. Corn ribs for starter were good too. A really nice addition to crystal palace. Will be coming back

One of the best Mexican food I’ve had in London. Never did I think we’d be lucky enough to have such an authentic Mexican restaurant in Crystal Palace. The corn tortillas are amazing as are the fillings - had asada and fish tacos. It’s a good meal when you forget to take photos. Service was very friendly despite it being super busy at dinner time. Atmosphere lovely with Selena on in the background Can’t wait to eat here again already.

I was intrigued to see how good the new Mexican restaurant Chabela is compared to the old Venezuelan place that used to be there...and it's absolutely bangin! I had the tempura fish tacos, really good portion size, doubled up the corn taco too so it doesn't fall apart (lovely touch), but the flavours! Jeez it's good! Definitely worth swinging by. The people who work there are so friendly and welcoming too. Can't praise it anymore than I have

Lovely little place. Arepas and cachapas are great for sharing, as well as the bigger signature plates with meat, rice, plantains etc. Everything is so filling and good value. Friendly staff and service every time. Would recommend

Some of the most amazing food I’ve ever had!! Best empanadas in London!

I live very close to this place, and I was excited to bring my family to try the Venezuelan food here. I expected the food to be more flavorful, especially the black beans, the cachapa, and the beef empanada. We ordered two cappuccinos, but they were just milk and water. I asked the waitress to add a bit more coffee, but she added more water instead. The place was clean, and the waitress was friendly.

Delicious food and excellent service

I had a craving for Latin American food one day and opted to go to this place. Though small, it felt cosy and intimate. The food was delicious and very much Latin American as it reminded me so much of when I was living in a Latin American country. The service was great, I never felt as though I wasn't being noticed, and the waitress was happy to listen to any queries I had.

Ya we liked it . Food was lovely , service was good, but it was a Tuesday so was fairly quite . Like us , why not try it . They also made up a bowl of chillie dip for us, nice touch I thought.

Local family-run restaurant, a bit of a hidden gem in Crystal Palace. They’re now serving more Mexican food, traditional recipes which are outstanding. I go there about every week with my wife

Excellent food and great service!

One milk would be far too little. Two milks would be insufficient. Four milks? Now that’s a tad excessive. But three milks form the perfect cake to go alongside your generously apportioned feast! Wonderful dining experience with a strong respect for numbers.

Came here for a lunch, had the Pabellón Criollo. I can unequivocally say that this was one of my top 10 meals in London. Enjoyed every bite, dare I say each one was better than the previous. Reasonably priced and wonderful service too! My compliments to the chef.

Very warm and helpful service, attentive but not overbearing. Food is all delicious. Cheerful music playing at a good volume. Dinner for two - three good sized courses and non-alcoholic drinks - under £50 in total. Well worth popping in.

Absolutely incredible authentic food. We came as a group of 5 and we've been talking about it ever since. Mouth watering flavours, cooked to perfection. The new owners are so nice and welcoming. Protect them at all costs haha can't wait to go back

I love this little place. The arepas here are magnificent, Today I had chicken with black beans and plantain, served with three little sauces that were delicious. The coffee is perfect.

We felt like we just stepped into South America for a meal - chilled and very cool atmosphere. Delightful food, starter with salty plantain with more than enough fillings went down a treat. Stunning main too. Would recommend in a heart beat 😊 very friendly and accommodating service too. We’ll be back very soon.

Amazing food and service. If you want to try Venezuelan food, this is the place. The guayoyo was delicious and the tostones were a good portion l, totally unexpected and delicious. The taste of the meat and chicken was perfect and the cachapa was fulfilling. They offered vegan and vegetarian options and they have vegan churros. If you love tres leches and can have dairy I will tell you to order it! We will come back. Really nice place

This was an exceptional meal. Unique, delicious flavours staffed by and frequented by those of Venezuelan descent; it's the real deal. Good value by London standards and generous portions, cooked with care. Service with a smile which helped warm up the otherwise fairly cold but perfectly functional interior.

An absolutely brilliant place. Huge portions of delicious food in a lovely family atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and even brought out some items from a new menu to try free of charge along with some homemade sauces. I only leave reviews when somewhere really knocks my socks off and I could not recommend this place enough!

Amazing arepas are definitely the main reason to eat here, but everything else they do is great too. Canteen style decor, and really decent prices for 2024. Don't miss the desserts or the sides, and if you're gluten intolerant, Lots of the menu is gluten free since it's mostly cassava or corn flour, not wheat

The food was EXCELLENT. I will definitely go back. So nicely cooked, full of flavour and you can tell it was made with care. There are vegan options as well. Try the soursop juice. I can’t remember the translation but the staff will definitely know what you mean :-)

Great food at reasonable prices

This is a restaurant to be excited about! It's under new management and they have added some Mexican dishes along the usual Venezuelan. Decided to try their pork tacos and beef flautas. Wow, all so delicious! Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Can't wait to go back!

The new to be introduced tacos are a fantastic addition to the menu; especially the cactus and mushroom one. Both Pabellon criollos were tasty. Great beers and lovely music in the background. And the server was incredibly friendly.

Always been a fan of this place. Was surprised to find out it has recently been taken over my a lovely Mexican lady who wants to turn it into a pan-Latin restaurant. Importantly, the pabellon criollo is as good as ever, and we got to sample some pork tacos from the upcoming new menu which were equally delicious!

The food was cooked in a homely manner and was simply delicious! This goes from the starters to desserts to the small array of sauces too. The service by the friendly couple who run the restaurant was wonderful as well. We look forward to coming back!

THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN LONDON!!!! I am from LA and have not found any decent Mexican food anywhere in London - until now. This place has always had amazing Venezuelan food but recently introduced a new Mexican menu. It tastes like an abuelita’s (grandma’s) food :) Would highly recommend the cactus tacos. Will definitely be back!

Food is good. Service is nice but too slow I cannot give a positive there. The place is too cold and uncomfortable. There is a lot of room for improvement.

We just had lunch at Mi Cocina Es Tuya and it was incredible. The food is delicious, the atmosphere cozy and the staff very friendly. It sent us back to Mexico, where we are originally from. One of the best places in London if you want to have tasty, authentic Latin American food!

Delicious and authentic Venezuelan food in the heart of Crystal Palace! My favourite is the beef arepas with plantain, beans and cheese. My son couldn't get enough of the mini cheese arepas, and my daughter ordered the chicken arepas twice (one for main and one for dessert!). I also tried the chicken and rice dish which was very tasty. Wash it down with a cold chicha, or a soursop if you're feelin' fruity! Puddings are also great - especially the 3 milk cake. Yum, yum, yum.

Had the best dinner here last night. We spoke to the new owners who said they will begin serving an authentic Mexican menu soon. As an American in London, I have really struggled to find good Mexican food here. Dulce saw our excitement and brought out some of the new dishes for us to sample. Oh my word!!! Homemade tortillas, tacos al pastor, napoles....we were in heaven. Safe to say we will be regulars here when the new menu rolls out. I would travel across London for good Mexican can't believe it will be in our own neighborhood. Great options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free as well.

Visited for dinner on Wednesday. The staff are amazing, they kindly explained the menu and made some great suggestions. The food was delicious, full of flavour and fresh. Tried the soursop juice which was freshly made and delicious. Will return many more times 💛 They also said they will be introducing additional Mexican dishes in the next few weeks, which I am excited to try.

Stopped for lunch while walking around Crystal Palace and it was marvellous. No-frills very authentic feeling and atmosphere, tasty food, friendly service. Too bad I live far and won't go back too often!
