Jahim, as per usual deliver absolutely excellent customer service, I will keep coming to turtle Bay for this reason, jahim does not dissapoint!

We were visiting from Canada and Yomi, our server, was a superstar. He was very friendly and courteous and was quick to provide alternative solutions to orders that quickly sold out. The food and atmosphere was great but Yomi’s service was even better.

Henry was our server, he was so lovely very accommodating!

Henry was our waiter, he was very friendly and fast with his order taking and delivery! The overall experience at Turtle bay was good and the vibe and atmosphere was amazing

Came in for a drink and a small bite to eat. I was served by the lovely Kornelia, very friendly. The food was good although an item was not available on the platter, but this was substituted. Great drinks and food overall!

Kornelia was excellent and gave a fab service on Saturday. I have noticed that the Trinni Chicken Curry has got smaller in portion. I came years ago and they had bigger bowl and roti bread. It was so tasty though. Tiny bit rushed when the waitress tried to take my friends unfinished drink but good so far! Thank you

Food here is a hit and miss. The mains, ribs and beef were amazing while the wings were cold and the mac and cheese was bland.

The restaurant is freezing cold. My food was cold from the start and unfortunately not able to taste it properly as it would if it was warm. Please sort the heating out. Karl was good with the service.

Shaq served us all afternoon for our ladies bottomless brunch (12 of us) who were here for a fun time drinks and some food. His service didn't disappoint. Friendly while professional and was attentive to all our needs. 12 ladies are a force to reckon with and he did so with the ease and grace of an absolute superstar. We'll bring back 15th Feb to celebrate valentines day and can't wait. Great food fantastic atmosphere and loads of variety drinks wise... could t ask for a better experience 5 stars across the board

Slowest service in the world. The 17 year old waiter called me “love”. I’m a 49 year old male. Not the best. But then it is Croydon Hardly any meat …. Just fat. Awful.

My friend and I met for dinner and a catch up at Turtle Bay in East Croydon. we both had the jerk salmon and a glass of wine and then shared a cheesecake. The food was delicious and Karl and Shaq, the waiters looked after us really well.

Had such a good time at the Croydon brunch out host Rebecca (Rebbi) and was a excellent host drinks and food came out very quick and all around good experience thanks to her will definitely be coming back

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. Five covers. Dinner reservation (not a walk-in). We arrived about 7.15, and were promptly seated. The restaurant was basically empty (one other full table, two at another, and a couple of people at the bar), which is very important for this review. We ordered: prawns, sweet fries, Trini doubles, jerk pork belly, beef cheek stew, chilli squid, jerk breast, plantain and dumplings. All of this took about 45 minutes to be served - and the dumplings arrived after we'd finished eating so they had to be sent back. As a former waiter myself, I'm very sympathetic to service staff. I can understand lateness if the restaurant is full and staff are visibly rushed off their feet. The food itself was mediocre, and portions were more starter size than mains. What made it worse was that nobody came over to explain what was going on or even to offer us an apology. The bill came quickly thought! It was one of those rare occasions on which the entire table agreed not to pay the service charge. I struggle to find anything redeeming about this visit.

Hands down the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had! Perfectly spiced, tender and packed with authentic Caribbean flavor. The atmosphere is warm, and the staff is super friendly. If you’re craving a delicious meal that hits all the right notes, this place is a must visit. Can’t wait to return!

I had the worst experience at this Turtle Bay. I don't know what was going on tonight but it was not it. It took 30-45 to get my starter, the a further hour after that to get my main. I had come with my 5 year old and his order stated mild on the menu and that was not the case. It was very spicy even for me who eats very spicy food. They said they would take it off the bill and they did not. My jerk chicken meal came out finally after waiting so long and it was burnt to a crisp and the rice and peas wasn't cooked at all. I am 5 months pregnant and waited so long I had some of the chicken as I was starving and to get a replacement would have taken long. I showed them the said burnt chicken and they said oh we can only give you 20% off which is absurd if I'm honest. I saw multiple other tables sending their food back. Also why should we all sit there in our coats to eat as it's freezing. The manager then refused to come over and talk to me and just gave me the bill. Even the waitress was shocked. The manager should be fired, he is extremely unprofessional and clearly does not want to work there. The chefs have no clue what they are doing and don't know how to cook authentic Jamaican food. Very very disappointing I will never be returning.
