Ordered a delivery and was told it would be half an hour, finally turned up 1 and 1/2 hours later. Food was bland and seemed like it was watered down. This used to be my favourite curry house but will never be using again. I've had better curries out of a jar 😡

Tonight the food was truly awful, all the dishes were cold , the nans reheated ! The service was average, the waiter knock over my drink . Had many a great dinner in planet spice over the years ,seems to be under new management. Gone right down hill , won’t be eating here again !!

Beautifully made and nicely spiced Indian dishes. The festive curry week deal is excellent value too.

Food was beautiful, service quite slow but the waiters were very kind. If I was to give any advice I would only suggest they be more attentive and give more attention to customers ahead of time rather than having to ask for things. We will be back :)

This was my initial visit to the establishment, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The culinary offerings were of exceptional quality, and the staff demonstrated utmost professionalism and attentiveness in catering to our needs. While the ambiance was generally pleasant, I would suggest an upgrade to the seating arrangements, as some of the chairs exhibited signs of wear and tear.

Second time we’ve been into the restaurant, the staff are attentive & polite. The food is really lovely, lots of options. Their pricing is reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

This is a difficult decision to make giving a bad review on a restruant I have enjoyed for many years but something has changed the food had dropped dramatically bad so gutted to have to find a new Indian takeaway, I think maybe new owners but haven’t told anyone

Sadly this restaurant has changed hands and is no longer one of the best in the area. The interior is dirty with many rips to the furnishings. Service was appalling, despite being the only customers we had to ask several times for menus and to order. Drinks that we had requested didn’t come and the staff seemed to have no experience or training in restaurant work.

A family favourite, our kids 11 and 6 love it here. The staff are always welcoming and it genuinely feels like home from home.

Disappointing evening. Service slow and clunky. Had to ask for drinks as they were not delivered with popadums. Then had to ask for more drinks. Had to promt to order food. Waiter training apparently but it was my birthday and spoilt it. Food was good when it arrived but had to chase raita twice which was not on my Thali tray! Need to look elsewhere ……….

The service was ok but the food really disappointing. Seems like they were also focusing more on their deliveries than on the restaurant. Chicken was hard and everything quite bland.

Food was not tasty, food portions were small and its not worth the price. In a chicken main dish jalfrezi there were only 3 pieces. Sheekh kebab was very dry. Customer service also very poor and staff very rude. I ordered a collection and when I went to collect the order I was charged more than what I expected. I was told I ordered an extra dish which I know did not order. The man said he had repeated his order back to me on the phone which he did not. He then refused to take the dish off the order. Overpriced place, with small portions, no value for money, plus the poor customer service made my experience even worse. I will not be coming back and will also be advising family and friends otherwise.

Great place to eat. Staff are always welcoming and polite. The food in my opinion is probably the best I have tasted as far as Indian cuisine goes. Strongly recommend as atmosphere is very relaxing and orive reasonable. Always recommend to my friends and family.

We stayed in Croydon for a business trip at the Premier Inn. We decided to get an Indian delivered to the room. Absolutely excellent first class quality food would highly recommend anybody looking for Tandoori in the area? I had the vindaloo which was cooked to perfection not too spicy but lots of flavour very nice.

Just ordered a delivery for the first time and would definitely recommend. We had mixed grill for starters and then I had mango chicken and coconut rice and my husband had lamb madras with plain rice. All the meat was lovely and tender. Delivery was within a reasonable time especially as we are a bit further out of their area.

The food was not in the same league as previous years the decor is very old and in poor condition- there was and issue with hot drinks and some of food in the buffet was very weak in terms of taste and flavour- the staff are friendly

Food selection is great with a wide varity of dishes available and a good selection of drinks. The service is fast & friendly. The staff make you feel welcome & also help you with your food selection if you are not sure of the kind & type of food you want. You are allowed to take your time & not feel rushed to finish your meal. Overall a good experience for a good meal 👍👌😁 Always a pleasure to eat at Planet Spice. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. A definite improvement since our last visit. Not perfect but the best we've had locally in a long time. We'll be going back for more all the time the quality stays that good.

Ordered a takeaway 27th December. Loads of sauce, not very much meat. What meat there was pretty tough and in slithers. Shame as the takeaway we ordered from here 2 months ago was so good

Food was delicious as always and very filling. However, service was pretty slow, particularly when waiting for the bill which took a v long time.

Had Sunday Buffet. Spot on. Tandoori BBQ wings were soo nice. Curries were delicious. Fresh naans served. 👌

Attended on Saturday 5th August 2023. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant. We were quickly serve an initial stater. Whilst eating the starter the order for the main course was taken. I said I couldn’t decide as the choice was vast. The NAGA was recommended and no joke it was superb. Additionally whilst ordering the main course the manager advised the portions were quite large and so he suggested we stopped ordering. His advice was correct. After the main course, the desert choice was mainly ice cream which helped:-). All in all the evening was very enjoyable and very reasonably priced. We will be returning again. On a side note observation, the volume of deliveries being sent out via food ordering apps would suggest that I’m not the only one who must think the food is good.. I recommend you try it, I doubt your be disappointed. Well done to all the staff (especially Marwan!!!!)

Went on Friday night to have a family dinner. The atmosphere and food was brilliant. The service was excellent.

I had a takeaway delivery so I cannot comment on anything other than the food and delivery. Delivery was quicker than expected and deliverer was very nice. The food was OK. Nothing terrible but lacked flavour and spice. I think it would be ok for some but disappointing for me. Good itself was well cooked but just lacked taste.
