Lovely customer service I enjoyed the service the food was very lovely and all us enjoyed the food and the customer service.

Took my mum & stepdad here for a surprise birthday meal and they loved it! They had the jollof & jerk chicken, my mum tried Banku & Tilapia with shitto & Goat Suya kebabs for starters. The portions were massive and the food was really enjoyable so you definitely get value for money. Everyone I've recommended the restaurant to has never complained. I think it's great for any kind of dining. Also, the ginger shots are a great compliment to your meal!

Me and my friend went there last minute . We both had eghusi soup and pounded yam. Was delicious and tasty. I will definitely go back. And the service was efficient and good.

I went to this restaurant last week. We ordered both vegetarian and meat dishes both of which were very tasty and authentic. We were very happy with the service. We will definitely be going back.

Food is amazing and very authentic, not like your standard Indian restaurant. It's very clean and service is good too.

Ich mag eigentlich nicht so gerne indisches essen. Ich kannte es bisher aber auch nur aus Köln. Jetzt Sitze ich hier und kann nicht genug bekommen. Das essen ist der Hammer. Super freundlicher service.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. The food was traditional and tasted amazing. Service was quite good too. I think they are under new management and you can definitely see the difference.

Although it took time for food to be served it was worth waiting for!Main meal portions enough for one. Chicken tikka dry starter is a must.

its nice restaurent with new managment , wonderful services , and quality of food , the food we ordered come on right time as said and it was perfect , the owner Mr Vishnu Bhai is cool guy , and he is taking care of every little needs of the customer. went with family last saturday 7 pm and we were the only one in there it was deserted.service was fine but the food was awful not spicy as indian food or hot and no heat at all.the chef should not be working there.absolutely bad food would not go back again.nasty

We visited this restaurant with some trepidation, the food was always very good, but customer service was lacking. We found that it is now under new management so hopefully the customer service issues will be resolved. We had a takeaway and tried at least seven dishes, some we had not tried before and some we had not, I am pleased to say all the food was excellent and we will be retuning.

Habiendo probado muchos restaurantes indios en croydon, nos encontramos con picante Affair. Nos quedamos muy impresionados por la comida, su sabor es más cercano a el sabor real india de lejos. norteafricanos curry, panes hindúes, india, china, sizzlers lo que quieras y te lo. No demasiado picante ni demasiado soso, el saldo era perfecto, y también lo era el ambiente y el servicio. El propietario Sachin era extremadamente amable e incluso sugirieron el menú correcta para mí cuando me estaba llevando. En general, fue una experiencia fabulosa.

Today I placed an order on the restuarants own website for a delivery, I placed my order was informed approx 45 for delivery on the site and recieved a email from the restuarant telling me the total cost, so when my food had not arrived 40 mins later my husband called the restuarant to get a eta when our food would arrive..We were asked did you order online??? My husband said yes, we were then told "oh no the online ordering dosnt work and we dont do delivery either" ..How can you run a business like this how will you attract new custom with that attitude ?? No wonder theres hardly anyone in there when ive drove past, if thats the service over the internet-phone I'd hate to see the real thing..I wont be trying this place now, I will stick to what i know ie Chat House, Crown and Pepper and the good old Mirch Masala for a delivery, just thought it would be good to give a local place the opportunity to win me over but unfortunately didnt happen !!

I wouldn't normally write reviews and am only doing so after finding the restaurants details on this site as I wanted to check they were open after Christmas when the extended family voted for a post Christmas meal with flavour. I'm glad to say this restaurant was met with approval by everyone (relief!). The restaurant decor is best described as modern Indian - warm, bright and clean with character (muted Bollywood showing on the TV). The choice on the menu was impressive, suiting our mix veggies and meat eaters. We hadn't heard of many dishes but the waiter (owner?) was happy to provide more details and make recommendations. Service was fantastic - a high chair was provided for our toddler and above anyone's expectation when the house wine was unavailable a more expensive wine on the menu was provided at the same price. Swapping mains for starters was no problem. Some reviewers have said their food was too hot - we stated our preferences when ordering (minimal salt and chilli because my partner was pregnant and our toddler was sharing from our plates) and the food we were served was spot on - fresh and tasty. Beer was served ice cold. Couldn't ask for more.

Good service and friendly staff BUT, even though we asked for mild curry it was served hotter /spicier than any curry I have ever eaten - I even had a takeaway for my daughter and ordered a korma - it was ridiculously spicy hot. Great if you like very hot food - but not for the faint hearted!

Good food. Clean restaurant and fairly good atmosphere. Strange service though, from a man whose customer service skills leave a lot to be desired.

Visisted here a number of times always great food, lots of flavour, do not use their web site for delivery as it does not work.

I had never been around this area to eat before. Had intended to go to The Glamorgan but being a Friday lunch it was extremely busy and was standing room only. Walked down the road to be faced with a chioce between two Indian restaurants (this one and Peppers). Looked at both the menus in the window and decided on this one. Staff were friendly, drinks were produced quickly and the order taken swiftly. Had a selection of dishes all that were very good. I have to say the dhal stood out as the best dish. All decent quality and full of flavour. Not the best Indian restuarant in Croydon but certainly up there give it a go.
