The guys really looked after us on a really busy night. Felt at home and the food was very good.and Staff were lovely Totally recommend Andy

2 cappuccinos and 2 English breakfasts was £23. The English breakfasts were diabolical, poor quality ingredients, stingy with amount and barely warm. Egg was scrambled in a microwave. Toast was barely buttered. Wanted to try this place as it looks quite nice - will not be coming again. You’re better off going to one of the other proper cafes even if they are greasy spoons.

Phone line doesn’t work , tried to order online, payment seemed to have worked, tried to ring the store mobile number provided on Google for 45 mins but didn’t get through at all. Driver turned up at the door and demanded cash. We explained we wanted to pay by card and told that the food is here now so we have to transfer funds to the drivers personal account. Massively unprofessional bordering racketeering. I would avoid using this company as I certainly will not be using them again.

Stopped off for a Sundsy morning breakfast and was pleasantly surprised whagt. good visit we had. A traditional large, spacious and clean cafe with out door seating perfect for sunny weather. i had the halloumi, sujuk, egg & tomato breakfast and it was delicious. So much so I’ll be back for the same for the good value and generous portions. Friendly table and counter service, clean toilets and a good pit stop if you are near Petts Wood Railway Station

I can't get over the rug just inside the door! It must have been there for years!! Sooooo dirty! Anyway, the food and service were ok really, but everything is old, from the glassware, crockery, cutlery, the food warmers old old old. It needs to be cleaned and modernised.

Really nice food, however I requested no onion due to an allergy and it was ignored so beware.

The Costas on the posh side of Pettswood, not our usual stop but every now and again we pop over to the other side, nice people work there so well worth a visit 👍

Chicken chow mein was tasteless.

We have been regular customers of One In The Wood since it opened. The perfect place to wind down with friends at the end of the week. Lately it’s become a playground for families with young screaming children. We have children of our own but there’s a time an place… Tonight we had to leave due to the noice and sadly I don’t think we’ll back anytime soon.

Fantastic chow mein and pancake rolls. Ribs are hit and miss with amount of meat- last takeaway spare ribs were disappointing . Ordered special egg fried rice - dry, bland and hardly any egg. Overall loved the food just tweak the spare ribs and special egg fried rice. Otherwise thoroughly recommend.
