The Daylight Inn in Bromley

Very nice old pub with original features. Nice climat. Spacious so it is easy to find good spot to seat - available are boots, small tables with chairs and large benches for bigger groups. Food is relatively good - my favourite is 16oz steak, which is fair priced. Only I do not like grilled chicken breast either in meal and in salad ( to me looks like was cooked, frozen and than recooked - maybe I am mistaken but texture is weird, you do not see or feel meet strings, also unsalted which makes it even worst). On the other hand this is pub food so it is very good as for pub kitchen. Nice snacks, my favourite is chicken wings, which are tasty and crunchy or beef tacos. They serve London Pride, although often not in stock.

The team at the Daylight were brilliant. Good service at the bar and food was brought to the table in a good time. Will look to come back to watch the Rugby again

I’ve been coming to the daylight for years… great atmosphere, shows the sport and has evolved a lot. It really is an institution in Petts Wood with friendly staff. Ian is a hoot and made us all feel welcomed.

Popped in tonight for a couple of drinks. Drinks were crisp and fresh and service second to none. Awesome pub, will be back!

I recently visited the Daylight Inn in Petts Wood, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends. The staff were friendly (Ian in particular) and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed their selection of cocktails and the delicious pub grub – the bacon cheeseburger was a highlight! Overall, the Daylight Inn is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy great food and drinks. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun pub experience!

Lovely 1930s pub with friendly staff and plenty of seating inside and out. Food has improved recently but the selection of real ales is down to a paltry 3. Good for sports though.

We are a 15 people on a table and the staff denied us cutlery to cut a cake just because it was from outside. would never visit again.

Service was ice cold and the wait for food seemed like an age.

Extremely helpful staff We had drinks and a lovely meal, unfortunately our grandson was ill over the floor, we offered to clear it up, the bar staff insisted that they done it, we were so grateful to them for there help, it’s a great pub, we’ll be back

This is my local pub and I was in there last week and decided to final leave a review. It's such great value for the money and the food is genuinely nice across the whole range of food they do. Good outdoor space and lota of space inside. I have also taken my kids a few times during the day and it's family friendly.

Great lunchtime deal for couples. Lovely pub with great outside areas front and back so you can follow the sun around. Handy for Petts Wood station

Would like to start off that on a whole the daylight was very nice, good staff, great atmosphere. However, one member staff ( have been told manager called Ben) had a real power issue. I’m new to the daylight and don’t often go out. After being persuaded by friends to watch the England game I went. Ben tore my ticket, then in front of crowds singled me out and demanded I showed him my stamp, I felt like a child. Then numerous people was standing on the bench seats and caught up in the aurora of the England game and again he singled me out and humiliated me again in front of a packed pub. He completely single handed ruined my experience. When I approached him and asked why he was singling me out, he then got very agitated and confrontational and demanded a doorman remove me. I had two drinks the whole night. Was not intoxicated to cause any problems and upon speaking to friends it seems he is a problem. Very rude and arrogant! I would avoid untill they can gather some control over his ego, such a shame an establishment like that would let an idiot like him have charge.

Went last Friday evening for a works leaving do and had such a fantastic time. The door staff were really friendly as we're the bar staff too. I ordered the steak and chips and must say that's the best I have ever had in a pub before. Great friendly safe atmosphere as I only moved too this are back in October. Will highly recommend this place and will definitely come again. Thanks once again for a great evening

Went in just for lunch so wasn't busy thankfully. Food was delicious and the service fantastic. Great pub ,hadn't been there for a while so was nice to go back and discover its still as good as it was .good prices, friendly people .what more could you want.

We came for lunch today on Thursday afternoon. Enjoyed some tapas from the new menu and a gammon steak. Good menu choices, something for everyone. Faye and Lisa were helpful and friendly. Nice relaxed pub with a lovely atmosphere.

Such a great pub. You always get a warm welcome, the team can't do more for you and the locals are very friendly. Extensive food and drink options and two 'sun trap' beer gardens. They also show all of the major sporting events, with 2 large HD screens and 2 projectors. Can't recommend it any higher.

It's got beer, an outside space that's ok and has the football on.

This is a friendly pub, shows most sport on large screens. Limited range of ales but no issues re quality/ price. Food unrated as haven't eaten here. Staff friendly.
