Pretty nice pub with a great vibe but they’re not particularly friendly if you’re under 21.

Nice friendly staff, they know the products they are serving and give advice about offers available. Definitely a good place to visit to relax after work

The food was dreadful,, mushroom starter came swimming in oil, the veg in the main course was like warm and the mash potatoes had a hard skin on top! Payment is required when you order. So no chance of reducing the bill! Been offered a £20 voucher to spend in the George!

Went first time for years after being served flat beer by rubbish young bloshy manager. Used to be my local in 90s. Now much more seating in and out like a restaurant. Did not eat.

Cracking afternoon everyone was so cool especially the bar staff who were so great Magda, Tilly and Lolly definitely worth 5 stars and will go again. Strongly recommend a trip.

Amazing staff and amazing service. They are all so friendly and really make you settle in! Daryl Johnson and tillie were especially good.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our reserved table was next to the 'live music' and so we asked to move to a quieter table, which they were happy for us to do. Food came up quickly, and was very enjoyable.

Rory and magda were were amazing top marks

The main was delicious and arrived in prompt fashion. The staff were more than helpful and welcoming. The brownie desert was both plentiful in size; elegantly displayed and tasted delicious!

Izzy has the gift of the gab and as for Rory you’d be lucky to get to know him the pair of them are the life and soul of the pub

Absolutely amazing! The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly. Very worm welcome from Magda who was very helpful with kids menu for a fussy little ones. We also had a good laugh. I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It’s definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food. I am definitely going back.

Classic venue, great staff. Very warm welcoming from Magda. Kid menu simply and does the job Dad got a choice of ales 🍺 - bonus And a must return in summer with the beautiful outdoor area. One of the best spots in Beckenham

Got there with friends for an after work drink, the staff was really nice and helpful with finding a suitable place for us and choosing snacks. They were all great. We will definitely come back!

Popped in for pre dinner drinks with a group friends. Service was both swift and efficient. Great bar staff who seemed to also be enjoying their jobs. Would highly recommend and will be returning to hopefully take some time out in the garden area.

Come here almost weekly for the quiz, staff are always lovely, friendly and accommodating, burgers are pretty damned good too! Good sized garden that's a bit of a sun trap as well.

Absolutely appalling service by the manager What a disgrace Would never come back to this pub again They laugh in your face. No customer service skills, I will be emailing your head office. The manager a lady that would not give her name and is a disgrace, I would never advise anyone to ever visit there.

Really friendly pub. Made me and my dog especially very welcome. Good value food. Could do with more on menu as alot off and more beer and drinks range. However lovely pub, lovely staff.

Was sitting at the table and Manager came over to us rather aggressively saying that five of her team felt uncomfatable around us which is total nonsense as we have been drinking there all Christmas and had a good time with all , Its quite clear she had a problem with us as never greet or say goodbye etc , we have been informed by various members of staff shes been running us down for weeks all the while happy to take our money ,Her team were brilliant with us just the manager with the fringe and glasses should NOT work in the public sector ,seems a very insecure individual who a very bad attitude ,

Went for an early drink, first stop on the pub crawl and staff were friendly , drinks reasonable, outside area is good, with covered huts and picnic tables. Traditional pub vibe.
