Great service and great food. The banquet deal we all had is excellent value and we were looked after very well. The menu is extensive and you'll find something you love. Would definitely recommend Rajdoot! Thanks for your hospitality.

I took my dad out for a curry this evening as he got the all clear from caner. I cannot express the warm welcome we got and loveliness of such great staff. The food was fresh and hot and I must say amazing. I and my family will definitely be back. A very must go too

This place is so out dated, a plastic seat that felt unstable, a plastic table cloth that the warm dishes stuck to when delivered, a strange trolley full of dusty glass decanters? I was waiting for Ant and Dec to pop out and say this was a joke! The waitress was so loud we joked that she didn’t need to go to the kitchen with our order as the chef would’ve heard her taking it at the table! She sat a table of loud guys next to us when there were so many other free tables around, they were having fun but we couldn’t hear each other talking. A most unusual man walked about and pushed a trolley occasionally, he did not say a word to us. I think he worked there? The food was below average, luke warm and not much flavour, the chicken was a bit jelly-like and was an unusual texture, however bread was nice. I should have just had bread! The waitress was surprised when she produced the loyalty card for next time, when I said there would be no next time as food was poor, tasteless and we were unable to chat due to the noise. She replied please try us again and I will turn the music down next time! We went next door to wither-spoons, it was curry night and we could’ve had a curry and a drink for £9! You live snd learn!!!!

Myself and a group of pals have monthly curry nights and have visited many curry restaurants within a 20 min radius of Orpington over the years .Raj Doot has become our favourite in the last year or so. Obviously its always a matter of opinion and experience ,but food and service has been great . Shanaz and her team always look after us ,especially a couple of our gang that need a little extra help. Last evening I took my wife along for a birthday meal and Raj Doot passed the ultimate test !! They treated us royally and we had a great evening. Big thanks to Shanaz .Highly recommended and also don't forget she also runs a loyalty card scheme

We booked last minute for my husband’s birthday. We all enjoyed our meal and really felt looked after . Thank you for making it a special evening. We have also had a takeaway from here a few weeks ago and, again, all enjoyed the meal. Many thanks Katy

No matter what horrible rude people say about this family run restaurant the food here is simply excellent ! Dont think Bethany has even eaten here and its none of her business where the tip goes! She has no idea what restaurants are going through with rising food costs! This restaurant is friendly and food is very good.

Decided to try the rajdoot after previous visits under the old management as I have always had a good curry in The Rajdoot. We were a group of four on a Saturday night and there was only one other party in the restaurant. Our main meal took nearly an hour to arrive and went it did, had to be sent back as all you could taste was salt. Three of us ordered Chicken Tikka Dansak and what arrived was not what we had ordered. There was no hot, sweet and sour and no sign of any lentels. We also had to send back the Keema naan's as the Keema meat was also extremely salty. It's a shame as it used to be very good. I won't be going back.

Only gave a decent review because my son was working there. He left shortly afterwards and recent online comments regarding the management explain why. Really would not recommend this establishment and definitely wouldn't let my son/daughter work here

AVOID AVOID AVOID - the restaurant takes all tips from staff for the business. They’ve said they do this for the business to survive!

We ordered two mains and sides. We got red sauce A with some chicken in it and green sauce B with some lamb. Aside from a single chilli, there was nothing else but sauce. I'm pretty sure the red sauce was a Tikka Massala base despite ordering a different dish. We also ordered Raita. We got a whole tub, I mean a main dish sized container, of yoghurt poured over cucumber. It was unappetising and well, weird, we didn't even open it.

Went for dad's birthday dinner. All enjoyed the food.

Bad service told me about a better deal after I had ordererd and said oh well you know for next time even though I could of saved me £13 on a £40 order and got another dish bad business skills now they have lost my service and everyone who I don’t recommend there food was really small portion asell and not great tasting big thumbs down will never step foot in there again

Under new management. Very disappointed after using for many years with the quality of the restaurant and food. Plastic table clothes, small sauce pots,small portions of main course. Now not an Indian, has Thai and English food as well. No hot towels after the meal. Real shame that the restaurant has lost its direction. Drinks very expensive.

Each time i come over to UK on holiday from France i come here for a meal. 2016,2018 and again at the beginning of April 2023. Lovely food, i had the Devil's Curry which certainly lived up to it's name and was delicious (Very Hot) The owner was most welcoming as was her assistant and we had a great evening, highly recommended.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I visited every Thursday evening prior to Covid. As I hadn't been for a very long time I though it would be a nice change from cooking at home. Food is still excellent, although, understandably, the price has increased since Covid. The Restaurant itself is very clean but a little on the cold side! The observation I had it was the Waitress had very long hair which had a tendency to fall forward when serving the food/ across the table. This was a little off putting perhaps I'm old fashioned, but I think long hair should be tied back when serving food!. This is by no means a negative comment, just my observation.

Shanaz is a lovely woman treated so nicely she deserves the world. Will definitely be here again. Food is amazing and the service aswell.

Iv have been to Rajdoot Restaurant 5 times in 5 weeks and I will be going often. The food is delicious and tasty and not oily. Iv eaten in many Indian restaurants and I have to say Rajdoot is one of my absolute favourites. The staff are wonderful friendly and accommodating. Iv had an awesome evening every time I have been. The take out is just as great. I’m one happy satisfied customer that is happy to bring my family and friends each time!

Rajdoot is amazing with great atmosphere and great food and the Tuesday and Wednesday night banqueting are great value for money ; highly recommend this restaurant. The service is always warm and welcoming and they even make sure the customer gets home ok. The music is fantastic and Shanaz is very welcoming and good at multi tasking even when the restaurant is busy.

Having visited the Rajdoot a number of times prior to its temporary closure at the end of last year, I returned last week in a group of 5. Whilst the food was hot and tasted good there were a number of negatives - Took nearly an hour for our main meal to arrive after ordering. Poppadom accompaniments are charged Empty bottles and plates left on the table meaning little room when the mains came. Food was served before plates put down again meaning lack of room on table. Pop music on just didn't deliver in an Indian restaurant. The young lady who served us was polite however but I could hear a lot of apologies on the phone being made. Not sure what is going on in this place but definitely not what it was unfortunately. Won't return to this one, will probably try Little India across the way.

I visited Rajdoot for the first time on Saturday night and I had a wonderful time. I was at first welcomed very nicely and politely and then got seated to my table. My waiter then came along and he was very kind and a lovely polite person. I placed my order and when my order came, it came very nicely on a trolly and my food got laid very nicely and politely onto my table and once again the gentleman was very polite and he treated me very nicely. I loved my lamb curry and I also loved the garlic naan and I can honesty say my garlic naan was the best garlic naan which I have ever had and I recommend it to all friends, family and everybody else. I will definitely return to Rajdoot and I thank all members of the staff who all ensured that everything is perfect and to my satisfaction. They also came once my food arrived and checked with me that everything is fine and to my liking. Great service, great food and very clean lovely restaurant. They also have on the front page of their menu that Rajdoot restaurant has a 5 star rating which I loved to see as its very important for customers to know the restaurants cleanliness and food hygiene rating. I look forward to eating at Rajdoot very soon.

We ordered at 06:55 and the curry arrived at 8:35. Honestly that is ridiculous timings, if they are too busy they shouldn’t be accepting orders! It was also later than the expected time to arrive. When the food did finally get here our order was wrong, we had the wrong rice, missing items but unless you take back to the shop there’s nothing you can do about it (which at this stage we were just hungry so couldn’t be bothered). The curry is good but honestly this is not the first time they’ve messed up our order, we’ve had missing items more than once, such as naan and poppadum, had lamb instead of chicken in dishes and had another order that was completely wrong and we did have to take back. The curry is nice and when they actually get the order right is totally worth it but after last night we wouldn’t bother ordering from them again.

We received the wrong order. Couldn’t get anyone on the phone and it was already 7:30. I then got a text to say my food order was on its way and it never showed up.

Listen this place can do no wrong, after a long day this was the perfect choice, the food so absolutely beautiful, it was full of flavour the food was hot and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We have only had takeaway, and I have to say the food seems to be getting better , really great meat content, sauce was thick (have had previously thin ) and rice good and hot (I’m always scared with rice ) naan breads super fresh not stale and just super tasty, new fav is the chicken tandoori biryani (does have bone so be careful, but this actually for me adds to flavour) , please keep up the quality, it’s really hard to find somewhere decent 🙌 looking forward to my next takeaway.

Food was alright Asked for curry to be extra hot but it wasn’t however I understand curry’s are of different different spice levels Mint sauce that was ordered and paid for was not included Used to be my favourite Indian around but just not as good recently

Chicken shashlick wasn't charred as expected, it was wet and the vegetables soggy. The chana masala sauce was so sweet and coconuty, not how I've ever had it before. If chicken tikka is going to be served on a bone then they need to specify this. Won't be ordering from here again.

Chicken Biryani was good as always. Naam Bread burn't with a black base. Special Fried Rice very bland. Chicken Tikka which I always order as like dry chicken but it is usually always so tender, it was tender but came in a sauce, very disappointing. Waiting 1 hour 10 minutes over due time. The food in the past has always been excellent and 10/15 minutes late which we don't mind. This was bad service all round. Very friendly apologetic delivery guy.
