I recently dined at Raj Moni Indian Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. I booked this on their website for a family birthday. The booking was accepted for a Monday and I even had a reminder by email on the day . When we arrived at the restaurant we found that it does not open on a Monday. Later I went back on to their website and it plainly says that they are open on a Monday. Luckily we mangaed to find another restaurant that was open. I have since emailed the restaurant but they have not replied

Food was good , you have to take your own drinks. Unfortunately the toilets weren't working properly and the smell was horrible.

Ordered takeaway - service was really friendly & food for 4 was very tasty, recommend the chicken tikka pathia! They even threw in some free poppadoms as we were collecting. Friends & I look forward to ordering from here again.

Loved our meal at Raj Moni, the waiters were super helpful and the food and drinks were fantastic. I had poppadoms, masala, special fried rice and a plain naan and they were all delicious. The mango lassi was also excellent. They were very clear when I booked that they don't provide alcohol but you can bring your own with a small corkage charge. There's plenty of free parking nearby too.

This place has to be the best indian food I have ever tasted in my whole 38 years of life . Wow what a little gold mine place 100% on point and the restaurant is sparkling clean the food is not greasy perfect in every way . Original authentic food 😋 I will definitely be back . Well done 👏🏻

Unhappy with the service provided - We dined at this place on 25th Aug - Evening. After placing the first order, I said, "that's it for now", which I think is very usual and used every now and then. However, the person taking the order had a different view, He said, I am not used to this, you cant order anything later but just once. (I found it weird) Then he also mentioned its not ethical to do so. Again very weird. I get this request when its the last order they are taking or they are full on capacity, short on staff etc, but nothing was explained to us, so I assumed, its not the case. Food was average. Obviously, I wont visit this place in future. They need to up their game on customer service.

Straight off just avoid this place, service was worst I have ever received, no please or thank you’s, constant sniffing, when you asked for something he made you feel like you are putting him out, food took ages to come and when it did it was the smallest portions I have had in a Korma, literally 4 pieces or the smallest chicken, we used meerkat 2 for 1 but it would have been cheaper and more food going to our usual place in Bromley, even when we went to pay the bill he just chucked the card machine on the table and went and sat down to drink his beer! I don’t think I have ever paid for something when the merchant could not even be bothered to enter the amount, oh and don’t believe the only like menu as they charge around a third more to eat in the restaurant, there are so many better restaurants in Bromley so avoid this one!

Beware if you get a £50 Voucher on email. It is real but you can't get to the terms and conditions on the link. You have to spend £200 to get any discount!

The food is excellent. 5 stars. I had not been before and surprised that the place was totally empty except our table. Not sure if about not selling alcohol but clearly something not right if they can’t attract more customers.

We've been here 3 times in the last 5 weeks. We love it: great decor; superb food; lovely atmosphere and service. Taking your own booze supplemented by their soft drinks and ice is perfect as you can drink exactly what you want.

As a bit of a curry veteran, I can say the food in this restaurant is absolutely top-notch. Lovely family too. Highly recommend.

Such a shame to watch the slow demise of this restaurant. It started to go wrong when they stopped selling alcohol. I realise that many restaurants do this as part of their religion and I have no problem paying a corkage charge for my own bottle of wine. However they obviously saw a decline in revenue so they put up the price of the food to compensate. Also they stopped accepting Tastecard and cited the byob as the reason. Then, since the return of the previously silent partner the service has taken a tumble. To go into a half empty restaurant at 9pm on a Saturday night and the manager looks at his watch and rolls his eyes is quite frankly a disgrace. Now when I drive past there are seldom more than one or two tables occupied. Very silly.

When I make it “across the pond” and am in the area, I love eating at Raj Moni. The food is sooooo good I dream about it when I am back in the US. They don’t serve alcohol, so bring your own. If you forget, there’s a Tesco right nearby which is convenient. The folks who work at and own Raj Moni really care about the community and I’m thankful the business made it through the pandemic. Take your time dining in. Enjoy the fantastic food. I always do 😀

The rooms are so good and clean also good access to Bromley central. Also there restaurants is right there which is perfect!

Las instalaciones no se corresponden con las fotos. Tuve una experiencia muy mala en este alojamiento, la habitación estaba en unas condiciones totalmente antihigiénicas para alojarse, se salía el agua de la ducha y al llegar habían toallas en el suelo de la cocina y el baño por este motivo, los utensilios de cocina estaban sucios de comida y había mucho polvo en la habitación. La cocina estaba totalmente pegada al baño y era muy incómodo utilizar el baño en estas condiciones. La calefacción no funcionaba y únicamente había un pequeño calefactor que apenas calentaba la habitación. La cerradura de la puerta estaba forzada y entraba toda la luz de fuera a la habitación por bajo de la puerta, en la cocina ni si quiera había bombilla y los miembros del staff no son nada colaborativos y evitan cualquier tipo de quejas. Al llegar ni si quiera había papel higiénico, tuvieron que traerlo. Había un pequeño porche común que estaba lleno de colillas de cigarros con una silla rota con un agujero y las vistas daban a unas casas abandonadas. Decidimos abandonar el alojamiento ya que no estaba en condiciones para pasar 5 noches. Nos fuimos muy decepcionados, relación calidad-precio muy mala.

Bit of a strange experience last night. Whilst looking for their menu on line I accidently called them. I hung up and proceeded to view the menu. I then had a call from them, saying that 'I called' bit rude I thought. Placed order anyway, asked how much and was told £36.10. He started saying he was gonna do me a favour, free stuff ect. I want particularly bothered, more than happy to just get what I've ordered , but ok! Thanks. Got there, shown a receipt for over £40. Told him how much it was supposed to be. Then he totally confused me by telling me that he has given me free food and a discount. It wasn't clear how much he wanted me to pay and then proceeded in a patronising manner to ask me if I'm smart? Which he repeated. I couldn't wait to get out of there tbh. Shame cos the food is great. I'd just like to get what I've ordered, pay for it and be valued as a customer.

A tasty meal in a comfortable, friendly environment. The lamb dishes were particularly good. We took our own wine which kept the costs down. All in all, a good experience and I will return to try some new dishes.

I have been dining at the Raj Moni for a number of years. The service and food has always been outstanding. You can even bring your own booze for a a nominal fee. I would highly recommend booking a table and bringing your family and friends along. Fantastic value for money fantastic food and great service

Absolutely terrible. Owner is a disgrace. Came as a group of people and he got all the orders wrong and said it's "because we ordered like white people" and got too many mixed things. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Rude staff & wouldn't use again

I love this restaurant. I've visited it several times over a few years and I've always had a good experience there. The customer service is excellent. Staff are friendly, chatty and it's very comfortable.

Food is not at all good even the biryani sucks, Naan too bad,Currys smells like 2 days ago and just heated before served.

It says its open from 3pm but the doors were locked still Wanted a late lunch and was still standing outisde in the cold at 3.20pm When I knocked on the door again it was finally open. No hospitality just told the kitchen is still setting up, no offer to come in and wait. I asked if we could come in and he said yes Nice menu selection. Fairly priced Reasonably quickly service (being that early we were the only ones there) Staff were flat, quite cold. Not upbeat or social. Polite but not welcoming at all , felt like we were more of a nuisance being there Tap water did have calcium floaters in it indicating very hard water This was noticed on the second refill. When asked how the meal was it was mentioned about the water but only a sorry was muttered. No offer of replacement or alternative Food was below average for flavour. Prawns were not fresh and very soft and watery Plates were permanently stained from previous use with a yellow tinge round the edge

Excellent food it has to be said but beware if you're planning a celebration here as they don't serve alcohol.

We have enjoyed a lovely family meal tonight, staff were friendly and my 10 year old daughter called it and I quote "the food of the gods"

First time using this restaurant. Tikka masala was so tasty and naan bread was nice and thin. Not thick and doughy like alot of places. Definitely my go too for an Indian now 😋

Initially accomodating with a late order for a takeaway. It went downhill from there.Got there and waited outside,took a bit longer than expected and decided to browse in the shop window next door. Next thing the guy pops out with my meal and puts it on the pavement outside instead of handing it to me.Anyhow if the food was up to it no problem but it wasn't.It looked very unappetizing as it was swimming in oil.Still I tried it and not very nice. To be honest I would rather pay double from Cinnamon culture and get the decent quality food and service.

Had a lovely meal with friends at Raj Moni. The food was excellent, good quality and great taste. We loved the bring your own alcohol policy too, works out much better value.

Without doubt great tasting , great value Indian food . Have used the delivery service over the last few months and have never been disappointed. Generous servings of great tasting food . Am looking forward to actually dining in when they reopen . Would highly recommend Raj Moni .

This was the only time I have been disappointed by Raj Moni. They had taken too many orders to be able to cope with and therefore the wait was unacceptable. If this had been a normal day I would have given them 5 stars. Please Raj Moni don't take on more than you can cope with. I was given a part refund but would have preferred the meal to have been on time and with the saag aloo that I ordered.

Ordered my first and my last order. Extremely disappointed Lamb rogan josh order which was full of quarter tomatoes and half cooked onions not rogan josh at all. When i complained was shouted by the owner saying i am wrong and wasn't happy to hear criticism and hang up the phone . Then they phones me back After a long argument another portion was sent with free rice was spicer but not Rogan josh. This restaurant is ok for someone who don't like spices at all. Very disappointed with the flavours and staff attitude. Indian food need to flavoursome not sure this restaurant understands this.

Have used Raj Moni for many years. Like their food and the staff are just as good.

Delicious meal to celebrate my birthday, and on the whole the staff were great, all except for one man who put us under enormous pressure to order before we were ready, despite being the only group in the restaurant. He then flounced off when we told him for the third time that we wanted more time and weren't going to be rushed. This was an isolated spoiler in an otherwise lovely visit. Top tip: Treat the customers in your restaurant with more respect even if the kitchen is under pressure to deliver takeaway orders.

Food is full of flavour and really tasty. We have only had takeouts but each time they are delivered quickly. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant in the near future.

We have given this place plenty of chances over the years. Failing on everypoint. Ordered a delivery over an hour ago, called them and being told food is ready but the delivery driver is out for 3 deliveries. That means that our food would be sitting waiting for another half an hour. If I wanted a microwaved curry, nearby tesco offer a much cheaper option. Bad on you Raj Moni. This was your last chance.

Fue nuestra primera visita a nuestro restaurante familiar local, Raj Moni, y fue maravilloso. Mi esposa y yo somos veganos y había mucho para elegir. El camarero estaba muy bien informado e hizo todo lo posible para comprender nuestros gustos para que pudiéramos elegir los platos perfectos. Hicieron todo lo posible para hacernos sentir bienvenidos y nos trataron como VIP. La comida era sensacional y una excelente relación calidad-precio. No podemos esperar para regresar. Muy recomendable.

Another great dinner delivered to the door last Saturday. Excellent big, fresh King Prawns, Sag Bhaji, Chicken, Rice, Popps....the lot. Restored our sanity during the lockdown. Well done and Thank you.

Mala comida y pésimo servicio cuando me quejé. Diminutas porciones se sumergieron en salsa y cuando me quejé me gritaron. Solía gustarme horrible ahora. Plato de gambas, arroz con champiñones (sin champiñones) y tarka dall con alguna que otra lenteja. Peor curry en años.

Really really really bad food. Liquid food with no substance and shouted at when I complain. Avoid like the plague although they will probably deliver this - in small portions covered in sauce.

Estábamos tan contentos de haber hecho el pedido por teléfono para la recolección y esto se manejó de manera eficiente como siempre. Como de costumbre, la comida era de la más alta calidad, recién preparada, porciones generosas con poppodoms extra y encurtidos. Excelente manera de celebrar un cumpleaños. Lo recomiendo totalmente. ¿Esperas volver pronto?

Just had takeaway absolutely brilliant

Ordered direct, by phone, well ahead...5.30pm for delivery around 7.00pm/7.30pm. Paid by card. Order arrived at 7.15. Left safely on the doorstep. Food was excellent and great value. Well done Raj Moni for continuing to serve great food despite all the lockdown difficulties.

Had takeaway deal during lockdown. £20 for a sort of meal deal!! Had a few extras, stunning, absolutely top notch food. Great deal, fantastic food really nice and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I took 13 members of the family here for my mother’s 92nd birthday. The food was great with lots of flavour. They looked after us so well and made a fuss of mum which made her day. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a meal, staff said the card machine wasn’t working properly, no reception so moved around with machine, two of us tried cards as they said they never went through, paid for meal, next day checked the bank and found both cards had been cloned?, cards were not used anywhere else?, Never returning

Fuimos a este restaurante con amigos que son clientes habituales, la comida era deliciosa, aunque cuando fuimos a pagar la máquina de tarjetas no funcionaba, a pesar de trabajar antes para otros huéspedes y dos intentos de pagar con nuestras dos tarjetas.Nos quedamos sentados esperando para pagar. Después de esperar más de media hora, no hubo solución ni disculpas del personal. Como nuestros amigos son clientes habituales, dijo que se pondría en contacto con el gerente y pagaría al día siguiente, que fue exactamente lo que sucedió.Lamentablemente, uno de sus empleados utilizó fraudulentamente ambas tarjetas al día siguiente para tratar de hacer compras, se informó a la compañía de que era un fraude y se informó a la policía.¡Ahora han perdido a sus clientes habituales y, a pesar de contactar al gerente con respecto a esto, no ha habido respuesta!

What a lovely experience at Raj Moni this evening Monday 9th December our favourite table no 16 beautifully set out. The food was exceptional couldn't fault a thing. Everything we ordered was wonderful . The ambiance was warm welcoming the decor tastefully done. Service was cordial and polite... Wonderful food experience. We shall return for sure.

Very comfortable restaurant with tasteful decor. Attentive waiters. Varied menu and delicious food which is priced competitively.

AVOID! This restaurant should be called RATIONS Roni. They are very stingy with their meat/fish/chicken portions. I ordered fish and I could have literally needed a magnifying glass to try and find the little bits of fish in all the sauce. My partner ordered chicken and there were about 2-3 bits of chicken spread out in the rice. What's the point of having a restaurant if you can't afford to buy adequate ingredients? First time to try them and definitely the last! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Been to many Indian restaurants including some high end, and i can honestly say taking everything into consideration, this beats them all. The food and service were first class at extremely reasonable prices.The only gripe over the whole evening was a glass of lemonade was a bit flat, but this would be knit picking to say the least. Thank you to the Raj Moni.

I love a good curry and had heard good & bad things about this place but my friends and I were treated like royalty & had absolutely amazing food, plus a free Baileys at the end (& it was ‘real’ Baileys)! Will definitely be back.

Mi esposa y yo hemos disfrutado de este restaurante varias veces, ya que este era el único restaurante en Bromley que podía atender a mi esposa que tiene intolerancias a la cebolla y el ajo. Normalmente hacen de mi esposa un curry fresco con mucho sabor, pero no esta vez Lamentablemente, este fin de semana fue la segunda y última vez que estuvo enferma. Como de costumbre llamamos y explicamos y nos recordaron de antes y nos dijeron que no habría problema. Si no tiene problemas con los tipos de alimentos, estoy seguro de que estará bien, pero si tiene alguna alergia o intolerancia, no puedo recomendar este lugar.

Went here earlier in the year, was so cold we had to sit with our coats on; their excuse, they'd been so busy earlier in the evening they'd had to turn the heating off! After 15 minutes of shivering and waiting to order a drink we said to make it a takeaway. We shouldn't have bothered, the food was inedible, watery, yellow slop. Would never set foot in here again. Shame as it's our local.

The modest exterior belies how high the quality of the food served at Raj Moni really is. Fresh vegetables with high quality spices give a real distinctive flavour to each dish, unlike some Indian Restaurants where each dish seems to taste much like another. House and kitchen staff are very friendly; a relaxing and satisfying place to dine.

They charge £1.80 for chutney ( onion salad, mint sauce and mango chutney ) to go with papadum which I never seen in any restaurant get charged

Obviamente, el naan estaba recién hecho y luego pedimos un par de platos favoritos (me olvido de la forma exacta en que Madam hace el pedido) más un plato de bargee de hongos (ortografía de consulta) que era indescriptiblemente bueno. Si cree que la prueba de un buen restaurante es, ante todo, la calidad de la comida, pruebe Raj Moni.

I have been a regular for years, the food is always fresh, tasty and cooked to order. Visited tonight for my mum's birthday and was not disappointed, always so good. My parents really enjoyed their meals as did my kids - 12 & 13.

Having visited Raj Moni last Saturday I was very happily surprised by the quality of the food that far surpasses the Bromley average. Good spicing and fresh herbs and interesting original dishes combined with friendly service makes this one of the best curries I have had outside of the East End of London.

I’ve been Raj Moni a few times and it has become my favourite local eat out cuisine. Great customer service, warm and welcoming from all the staff and the management. The food is great and there is a good variety on the menu. Whenever I ask for something particular the staff are always happy to assist for instance cooking the food to my preference. A little gem in Bromley and a definite recommendation from me.

Fantastic service!! The host was exemplary, spoke us through the menu! The starters were beautifully executed - meat was cooked to perfection! We ordered the mixed platter to start and everything was really good. However, I particularly enjoyed the paneer Tikka, crispy slices of cheese sandwiching spiced lamb! The lamb shank was heavenly, slow - cooked and falling off the bone! It was served in a delicious gravy! I have recently moved into the area and this is now my new local! I'll definitely be back! :)

Raj Moni is wonderful! We have only recently moved to the area and have had used their delivery service twice in 2 months. The food is amazing, plentiful, flavourful and just delicious! I have a son with a compromised immune system so we are wary of takeaway food. Raj Moni has a 5 star hygiene rating and it is well deserved. We will be using them frequently from now on, now if only the delivery drivers can find our house it would be perfect! Thanks so much, very happy to recommend Raj Moni.
