For around £20 pp inc a few beers you can’t beat it! Ok maybe you’ll find slightly better food elsewhere but it’s great value and won’t disappoint 👍🏼

I went there with a friend, it was quiet and the food came up promptly. Food was very good and is pushing best in the area. The service was polite and the staff friendly. We'll be back soon.

We go here fairly often. Wide choice of food, lots of veggie options, good portions, and it's rarely greasy. Service can be hit or miss; sometimes things are missed or forgotten, but we've never been mischarged. Customers can be the young and rowdy types, so not necessarily a peaceful dinner, but the lovely food is a great treat after a busy day.

The curry itself was very tasty but by god we had a onion bhaji with a hair cooked into it…

Always order takeaway from there and they are always 10/10. Made an order for collection and they forgot to add my naan bread so they happily drove it to my house. Lovely customer service and lovely people. 100% recommend

I've been going here for some years. Probably only had one less than good meal. I like hot curry, and this is done well here. Service is always good but we are well known so that's a personal experience.

Look’s like Spice Lounge could do with a bit of sprucing up inside & out, but the Food & Service was good. Waiter’s are very pleasant & helpful.

The food was terrible , I had crispy kalamari starter and it tasted like onion rings out of a bag and I had chicken tikka main , I must of ate two mouthfuls all night , I would never go there again , they should be ashamed of themselves. Absolute disgrace

It’s ok. Used to be much better but I’ve had a few takeaways recently that just weren’t great. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt as they’ve been very good in the past. If it improves, I’ll update this review.

Booked a delivery on a Sunday. Took an hour to arrive. Very difficult ordering experience due to inefficient and language skills of the person on the phone. Speciality chicken was oily and just pieces of cut up chicken tikka dropped into a bland oily mush. Aloo gobi was just ok. Chickpeas poor. Rice was good and naan was cold. It’s cheap though but I now know why

I came on a Monday evening. I was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered butter chicken, rice and diced bahji onions. Firstly, I was really surprised by the color of the butter chicken which was yellow 💛 rather than orange-red. It was very good, different from anywhere else, sweet, I would even say with a coconut taste but not at all spicy. Not at all spicy like Indian food used to be. The bahji onions were also very good but without hot peppers, or even the green sauce. Everything was tasty. I therefore recommend it for people who are intolerant to hot peppers, but for my part I would have liked it to be a little more spicy. Good service in general, without a smile, but the hot towel at the end of the meal compensates. And for the atmosphere it was very calm given that I was the only one in the restaurant. They played Indian music when I got home. I recommend

Second visit here and I was impressed. It was quiet as it was a Monday evening, but food and service were excellent and actually better than before. Service was quick and attentive, yet not in any way overbearing. The food was outstanding: tasty with real depth and complexity. The Cobra beer in draught was cold, fresh and clean and the atmosphere was quiet but surprisingly healthy for a Monday night with a large table occupancy and two other couples. Price represented good value for money. I fancied meat and the special mixed grill was excellent! Portion size for me was spot on - I am not a massive eater so I supplemented this with naan and rice, which as always with Indian cuisine worked well. A complimentary Bailey's finished the meal off well and was appreciated (although I am not really a Bailey's drinker).

King prawn puree starter same price as a curry main course king prawns non existent,with a folded piece of bread underneath something that resembled boiled baby shrimp surrounded by a strange sauce ,! Chicken Tikka masala was so chewy it would give chewing gum a run for there money rice ok can't complain about that unfortunately arrived cold

disappointing...dips served with poppadoms pretty tasteless...starter arrived after our mains...didn't even receive our ordered garlic nan...tandoori chicken very dry, no lemon slice, no salad, no raita, all very tasteless...no atmosphere, no background music. wont bother trying again.

Keema Naan was ok. Pilau rice ok. CTM was tasteless and bland. One broken poppadom when the menu says "Poppadoms" for £1 you'd expect 2. Food was hot and it did the job but honestly the curry was very sweet but tasteless lacking curry flavour and for that reason I will not be reordering here. No salad in the bag like other curry shops.

Food was cold despite just leaving the kitchen, Popadoms were stale, onion bhajis were small and stale tasting. Husband had to wait 30mins past pick up time for collection of the order. No apology offered. We won’t order from here again. Such a shame as used to be so lovely

Today was not up to the usual spice lounge high standard. Today the curry was very watery and so was the tarka dahl, it all lacked flavour. This is unusual as normally spice Lounge food is great.

Sorry gentlemen food was ok but the price was far from ok. £75.00 for 2. 2x poppadoms for starters, 2 main dishes 2 sides 2x cokes (£5.35 each !!). These are over and above London west end prices. Would I revisit. Sorry no just because the price!!! Staff great

So we decided to have an impromptu curry on a random Saturday evening, I called ahead and booked a table for 4 (granted, only 3 of us went, 2 adults and a teenager). We arrived to a semi busy restaurant but by no means full. We were seated next to a large party of around 15. Approximately 10 minutes after arriving we were asked if we'd like some drinks, we ordered two beers and a coke and hoped that once our drinks got brought over, maybe our order would be taken. Oh how wrong we were! Whilst waiting, a couple more tables of 4 or 5 arrived. I fully expected to be waiting for awhile but after around 10 minutes even I was getting antsy. Finally a waiter came over and asked if we'd like some poppadoms. I told him we'd love some but also we hadn't ordered yet. He said he'd return with our poppadoms and after another ten minutes I approached the barman and asked him if anyone would be over to take our order any time soon. He said someone would be over shortly but during this exchange I noticed the two tables that had arrived after us were eating!!! This is around 45 minutes after us arriving. I sat back down and told my husband that I was no longer willing to wait and nor was he. The waiter arrived with our poppadoms and I told him we would not be needing them, I'd just pay for the 3 drinks and we'd leave. As we did so not once did one of the waiting staff apologise or let us know they were under any sort of pressure. We were simply just forgotten about! Absolute disappointment! Would not recommend!

Price is OK but food a little bland

We waited an hour & a half and then had to ring the restaurant to find out what was happening. Then it showed up 20 minutes later (well after the estimated time) and the order was wrong. First & last time we order from Spice Lounge unfortunately.

Best curry in town but order on a Saturday night and you'll be lucky to get it within 2 hours. Add an hour to the expected delivery time.

Unusually, almost of our dishes were very poor quality: tasteless (tikka and rosni) cold (tikka), burnt (naan) or overcooked and dry (tikka). Very disappointed and will be unlikely to order again.

5 star, great food, prompt service (especially as it was Christmas Eve and they were inundated with takeaway orders) and a pleasant atmosphere.

Food average staff busy watching tv making calls and cleaning car to care. Nice if they could be bothered to clear snow and ice from entrance. Very dirty and cold.

Have ordered from spice lounge many times with no issues but today my order was extremely late and no reply from phone number or my request for money back. Not happy.

Stone cold 45 mins late for delivery and kept saying just wait 1 minute and trying to fob us off. Just wish I had read reviews before ordering. Never ordering again

Took 2 hours to be delivered from order that stated 35-50 minutes. Had to chase them twice on the phone. When the food did arrive it was cold as had been out with the delivery driver for over 45 minutes. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for your takeaway.

Good portions, great taste and on time

Plenty of lounge, not enough spice. This is the second time I've ordered from here and found the strength of flavour to be distinctly underwhelming, with the lamb being unexpectedly tikka'd and chewy, and the potatoes (from my first order) being undercooked. The first time I had a cold and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, thinking that perhaps my own sense of taste was off. Sadly I found it to be similarly flavourless on the second attempt.

Awful. Bland food, not much of it, arrived 2 hours later than the ETA, was cold on arrival, restaurant stopped picking up the phone so had no idea when it was arriving. Never ordering from here again.

Had a takeaway from here. It was ready on time but food was completely bland and lacked any flavour. Had a similar experience here in November 2021 when a party of 5 of us ate there on a Wednesday. It was uninspiring and tasteless then so it doesn't seem to have improved in 8 months. Need a serious change of chef. Won't use this place again.

Regularly order from Spice Lounge; love the food, it's always hot, tasty and generously portioned. Delivery is often much faster than the estimated time which is great because we're not easy to find!

Lovely restaurant , we have eaten in many times. This is the first time though in using Just Eat. Brilliant service, will use again. Restaurant of course we will eat again !

The choice and standard of dishes is very good. Service can be a little slow at times bit the food is worth the wait.

Really nice food and a great atmosphere, vert reasonably priced even now with prices seemingly increasing everywhere! Waiter was really nice and polite, all orders taken correctly and double checked to confirm. Lost a star down to it taking quite a while for drinks to arrive - the place closed at 2230hrs and by 2115hrs we were the only customers left. I appreciate that telephone and online orders were coming but still seemed like it took a while for drinks to arrive. Overall was very pleased and would definitely go back!

My wife and I had a curry delivered from The Spice Lounge in Biggin Hill and it was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Ordered at 6.10pm it said 40-60 minutes. It then changed to delivery 7.10pm to 7.30pm Now 7.40pm and still not here! Won’t be ordering again

First time trying this restaurant as somewhere different, sadly disappointed. Although the delivery was within the given time frame the food was cold and needed to be reheated before eating. Worst curry I’ve ever had. Lamb and spinach dish was supposed to be medium spiced. It was bland with no spice at all! And delivery was 30 minutes late which didn’t help. Won’t be using these guys again.

Chicken in the biryani was a bit tough and the veg curry was bland but had lots of fresh veg in it. The rest of the food was great.

Had a takeaway meal from here recently, I was given a time for collection but then satt in the restaurant for over 15 mins waiting, during my wait I noticed the service was quite shoddy. When I finally got to eat the food the wait d definitely was not worth it, the food was bland and tasteless, nobody in my party of 4 enjoyed their meal and were all very disappointed.
