So we ate in and it was quiet but the chicken tikka starter was so die for. The butter chicken chicken korma was equally amazing. For me the bombay potatoes was really really good. The best I've had . Naan equally amazing and poppadoms and dips. I highly recommend 👌
The perfect café for me. If I lived locally, I would be here every day without fail. First class food and service in a great place. Prices are very good too.
Simpson's Rd, London, BR2 0QL, United Kingdom, England
The room was quiet, and we had a large room at the end of the corridor, which meant as it wrapped around the building in an almost U shape there was a lot of floor space.
We didn't but if you were going to try and watch TV from the bed, the person on the left looking at the bed would be able to see, the person on the right would struggle as the wall would block some of the view. As I said we weren't there long enough to watch TV, but if you were staying with children or business, that might get a little annoying.
I'm sure Premier Inn also used to give you two pillows on your bed each, as there was only one it was a little uncomfortable on your neck. Only when we left in the morning did we find there were mor pillows in the bag in the wardrobe part, where the extra towel was.
Fabulous food. Easy parking.
Restaurant has had a makeover, new furniture and ownership I believe.
Nothing but good.
Duck spring rolls to start r the best.
Thai chicken green curry flavoursome and lots of tender chicken.
So much better than another Thai restaurant which is one of a chain in Chislehurst!
59-63 High St, Beckenham, BR3 1AW, United Kingdom, England
It stands out as a gem in Beckenham's dining scene, offering high-quality food, a vibrant atmosphere, and outstanding service. Whether you're seeking a casual meal or a special night out, this establishment promises a memorable experience.
Went twice in one weekend - it was that lovely
I recently moved to the area, and as the house is an utter mess have gone to this cafe about 4 times in the last month.
One thing that stands out to me is the inconsistency of the food. Pancakes can be different every time you order. Sausages can be great one week, overcooked the next. Food quality is good generally, but I do with they were a bit more consistent.
Service however is great, friendly and professional.
So to sum up, a good cafe, but could be excellent in my opinion.
The food is alright, not great, but at the same time not terrible either. My issue with this Takeaway is that it doesn't offer a delivery service and expects you to pick the food up. I don't mind doing that if it's a small order, however if I'm paying £35, then I expect the food to be delivered. Nearly every Takeaway has a delivery service nowadays either via the main apps Just eat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats etc or directly, so for you to not have this at all as part of your business model in 2024 is unacceptable. Trust me, you must be losing a hell of a lot of business as a result!
Lovely friendly cafe with a good menu. The food was tasty and excellent service. Decor pleasant and the cakes looked good....we'll be back to try these!
