Beautiful gem of restaurant 😍 ❤️ delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Staff are so attentive, helpful and kind. Every time I've visited it's been a lovely experience. This is a great restaurant to come too with large groups of families or friends. There is literally something for everyone. The cocktails are lush too!

Liked this place to chat over cocktails for a couple of times with my friend, we liked Negroni's and the chap that did them was excellent 14 quid a go... After he was not there, the other servers were crap... Also got a few false bills... bit of a shame ..

I never usually do reviews but after eating here, I felt that I needed to! Such a great restaurant and lounge, the venue was beautiful, the staff were amazing, Ozzy was so friendly and helpful, they took my allergies seriously, very reassuring and affirming. The food was lovely, came out hot and very very good portion size. I had Katsu curry and Californian sushi and my friend has the teriyaki salmon and also enjoyed it. Don’t order any drinks, so can’t comment on that. Will definitely be my new spot!

Came in for a drink. Took 20 minutes for somebody to even come over. Took our drink order very quickly and left without saying anything. Came back with a card machine to pay immediately before we’d even received the drink?! I wonder why, because they were bloody awful, no better than a Wetherspoons cocktail. To add insult to injury, they didn’t even show the receipt, they just held the card machine out, which turns out they had added service charge. £29 for two cocktails is a joke, considering we had literally the opposite of service, nobody even acknowledged us or gave us more than a combined 60 seconds the whole time we were there.

Wonderful sushi, great value, really nice owners. I went here with a mate to eat and watch the footie, and then again with my kids a few days later.

Overcharged. 8 of us asked for a sharing platter and this is what we got for £100. We went for a meal after somewhere else.

Celebrated our 70th birthdays on Saturday afternoon. Amazing venue, excellent food and service. Ozz went far and beyond to look after us and made us feel so special. Great atmosphere and highly recommend The Moon.

Today, Monday a fantastic experience. I took advantage of my day off to enjoy dinner without the chaotic stress of a Friday or Saturday night at Moon Lounge in Beckenham. In addition to enjoying a romantic atmosphere inside this restaurant, I also took advantage of a generous discount. Excellent staff and service, tidy and clean room and bathroom. Different and very well furnished environments based on the type of evening organised, I chose the restaurant room with a Japanese theme, fantastic. I tried many dishes on the menu (see photo) and the food was excellent, varied and tasty beyond my expectations. The two of us paid 100 pounds but with the food we ordered, 4 or even 5 people would have eaten. For people who like to eat well and without stress, I recommend this restaurant in the first few days of the week, I would go at the weekend just to drink and have some appetizers with friends. I advise.

The sushi was disgusting it had undercooked rice and old avocados in it. I really expected more from this restaurant

Me and my freind used to go to this place all the time and went the other day in the day time, and was surprised to see the name change, the place looked nice with the new bar at the front, anyway we went there me and my freind got are drinks it was quiet, there was two other groups in the bar, I hadnt even finished my drink when the waiter came up to us not even asking if we want the bill or another drink and asking us to pay with the payment machine, I was pissed off as I found that quite rude as he didnt do it to the other groups there and he has seen us there many times before so knows were not gona run off without paying, kind of felt like discrimination and didnt make us feel good at all, some of the staff there need to work on being more welcoming as that kind of behaviour will lose you customers.

I got takeaway last night, and around midnight I was constantly throwing up and I have all the symptoms of food poisoning

We booked for a 2 hour bottomless brunch in which we repeatedly had to ask for our drinks and waited over 20 mins for those drinks to arrive. The food was tiny and the staff weren’t very inviting. I would definitely NOT recommend.

I visited Moon on Friday and was very impressed. We had a delicious lunch in the sunshine and shared a Prawn and a Squid starter followed by Sea Bream & Black Cod both served with lovely fresh green vegetables. The cocktail of Chilli Margarita was spicy & spot on. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly and we somehow managed to stay there well in to the evening as we were enjoying the classy surroundings so much. Well done Moon, I will be recommending to all and will be returning soon

This place is stunning, the food is amazing , shoutout to the chef , the staff are so polite and accommodating, they always go beyond , my partner and i love this place and it has become our regular spot, lovely decor , i highly recommend

Went here for my daughters birthday. It was a lovely venue.

My partner and I chose this venue to commemorate our 6th anniversary, drawn by its beautiful decor. The beauty of the place exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, the culinary experience matched that of a 5-star restaurant. Surprisingly, we were treated to complimentary shots before departing. We certainly plan to return for future celebrations. Ozzie and Michael, our attentive hosts, went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction with both the cuisine and service. Only downside is that my lamb cutlets could have been copied more as it was a little undercooked and I was unable to finish it but I still enjoyed my starters and mains. Would defo come back here again.

The atmosphere 👌 😍 the party place is great the staff is friendly great drinks . From door staff the make sure safe an everyone is happy u can sit at the bar while u wait to go to ur table . 😉 I love the sushi 🍣 😋 here

I attend Moon on a weekend night regularly and always love the service provided. The music is always on point! the staff are so friendly and make sure everyone is having a good time whilst staying safe. The drinks are great and made strong! The late night closing time of 2am makes sure no one’s good night ends premature. Place to go if you want a good night with a good vibe!! The security are always making everyone feel safe and enjoying their night, no trouble ever caused.

Absolutely fantastic service tonight. We have attended moon with our group of girls and have had a brilliant time.

Went here Wednesday night (few days before Christmas) service was TERRIBLE. 2 people (1 waiting & 1 behind bar) decided to serve me drinks walk off half way through to serve a table and then come back and continue finishing making my drinks. Never will go back - bet this place closes within 24m

Randomly found this place as I was walking along the high street and decided to give it a try. Glad we did. A beautifully decorated restaurant with fantastic atmosphere & more importantly very delicious food. I especially enjoyed the calamari and sushi. Drinks were also very nice. The service was fantastic, each member of staff we interacted with was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you are in the Beckenham area.

Discrimination at the highest in there by both the Bar manager who has such a high attuide problem and stress complex she takes it out on customers & the Door staff who when you tell you have a condition, think it is ok to laugh in your face. Send your staff on sensetive training or some sort of workshop because if it continues it won't be the name of the place changing next, it be the locks from the council from the constant disgusting service.

Would recommend never to visit this place. The security think discrimination is acceptable. Not a place I would ever want to go to.

I chose "my place" to celebrate my birthday with 18 guest, from start to finish, everything was painless and enjoyable, Danni is absolutely amazing, the waiters and those serving the table were very attentive throughout the whole day, they listened and put up with my last minute additions, made sure everyone was happy. Thank you so much my birthday celebration was such an enjoyable night, the food was delicious (all 18 guest were very happy) the music was fantastic the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you

Wasn’t allowed in because I had a man bag but ladies can have a hand bag and be allowed in. Never heard such a ridiculous rule in all my life. Sexism at its finest. Doorman were rude and ignorant.

The bouncers here racially discriminated my partner because he was wearing shorts but yet let in 3 men wearing shorts right in front of our faces. When I challenged this and asked to speak to a manager to discuss their dress code, the bouncer said he would not be doing this. At first he said it was because he was wearing shorts and then he changed it to that he was wearing a t shirt. This is disgusting and appealing behaviour and I would warn people not to attend and spend their money in this establishment

Good food, friendly staff. Cross between restaurant and nightclub. Too loud for the restaurant but good music and atmosphere later on.

My place thinks they are some Mayfair club, they are situated in beckenham and have no class, fuming they wouldn’t allow me in in crocs & said it’s all about ‘the image’, petition against this please.

Terrible food, out of 8, none of us ate our meals, we let the waitress know and she didn’t help in anyway and we were still charged the full amount despite only eating a few mouthfuls each, wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

There is lots of room for meeting friends and the decor is good. The drinks did not live up to expectations especially after the efforts of the bartender. The service was ok

Wow wow wow there’s nothing bad I can say about this place the food was 5* quality the staff was so attentive and helpful with recommendations of drinks meals ect! The drinks were amazing this is a gem! I recommend you go late evening and then the open up the club part until 2am! You can dance the night away and get drunk straight after you eat full of vibessss! Met so many lovely people whilst dining here and to the waiter that served myself and my partner that overheard we had recently got engaged when we was talking to a Group gave us complimentary drinks!

Went for drink with friends . One drink wasn’t what we have ordered . When we asked staff behind the bar , the lady said “that’s what she’s heard”. No sorry and of course they didn’t change the drink . 🤷🏼‍♀️ Otherwise was ok.

Our first time experience at this restaurant, but not our last! The food was varied and different - I had grilled peaches with Serrano ham and salad for a starter, and the portion was huge. Mains was a crab burger which came on a bed of mango and pomegranate - delicious! My friends were more than satisfied with their dishes as well. The reason I've dropped a star is because the sweet potato fries tasted more like Asda own brand than McCain's, and the Sangria was not as tasty as a rival establishment up the road. The service was spot on though and very welcoming. We shall return!

A very nice spot for Sunday brunch! Thank you to Arda who was pleasant and helpful with our menu choices. Him and his female colleague were both attentive although it was relatively quiet at same time this was much appreciated. Will visit again.

First and last time visiting. Service was just okay and not good/great. I ordered soft shell crab for starters - very oily. The salad was nice. For mains I ordered the duck breast which was very fatty and they had no dauphinois. A key part of the meal. Restaurant also never had the rose in stock we wanted. Claimed they couldn’t order it anymore. I went to the place next door who had the wine and said there’s no issues ordering more. My girlfriend had the Salmon which was covered in chunks of rock salt and peppercorns. It made the dish inedible. Honestly the place feels like it’s a cash cow and no focus on service today or menus.

Food was not that great like I remembered. Staff were rude and not helpful at all. Felt like they were over worked so couldn't be bothered. Huffed when I asked for an extra spoon. Abrupt when I was trying to ask about something they jump in and assumed I wanted the dessert menu which I didn't. A number of staff looked at me when raising my hand to finally get their attention for another drink but just looked straight through me. No one asked us how our food was. Bearing in mind we was a big table of 9. Some food had no seasoning not even salt. Very unhappy Tobe frank. Not what I was expecting when I told my guests about this place and how nice it was the last time I was there. 1star feels to much and we spent over £400.

Sorry to rate 1 ☆ ..the place is very nice but I had a first coming time with no problem till a point when a manager trethend me to punch me in my face ... I didn't done anything rough being kind with everyone but I don't think a manager should be acting like that and I think people should avoid this Lewisham thipe of violent places I hope this matter to be sorted out if not I'm going to go higher

An amazing place. Wonderful service, which is so important. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and in this day and age, that’s absolutely priceless. Our table servers were warm and inviting. We broke a nice joke with the family next to us and left with the best tasting shot of something I’ve never had before. Two happy customers!

A great bar and restaurant in the heart of Beckenham which is not that far of a walk from Beckenham Junction Station. The restaurant is classy and stylish with an array of items on the menu. The staff are ever so friendly. The club is a great space to have a drink and have a great laugh.

Got kicked out for supposedly mocking their staff and being too drunk after spending a lot of money. Avoid this place like the plague. Not worth anyones money or time. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Go to jams or junction instead where they know how to treat customers.

The service last night (06/12) was amazing, we had such a good meal. I've had many seafood linguine's in my time and they always disappoint in volume or seafood content. This was by far the best I have had anywhere. Great flavour and good sized portion. All the other dishes were excellent quality and size. Great place to done with a group of friends and family.
