The best restaurants in London

I visited this place last night after quite a long time, as we used to come here twice a week to eat and have a drink. We started with two shots of Courvoisier cognac to warm up, along with two glasses of house red wine. However, we were shocked by the bill, which came to £32.50 just for the drinks. At that point, we decided not to order food. This place offers basic, homemade-style food—it’s not really a full-service restaurant. For these prices, you’d expect a higher quality experience, with a nicer atmosphere and more refined service. Instead, the setting still feels dated, with a bit of a post-communist vibe. The value just wasn’t there for us this time.

Such wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We enjoyed lunch for Truffle and Game Week the seven courses were all delicious and excellent value for money. We are so looking forward to coming back.

Wow. 20 December 2024. Jan & Andy enjoyed our Wedding breakfast here, with 4 family witnesses/partners. The Alberello team looked after our plans, requirements and the Day, itself, professionally, patiently and beautifully. The meal was wonderful. Grateful thanks and appreciation. Acogedor lugar pequeño con excelentes comidas de desayuno inglés y personal amable. No hay demasiados asientos, lo que me pareció bueno.

I been served today by a rude lady Instead of serving customers with the smile in her face she was busy on her mobile speaking in Romanian and giving us a dirty look I kindly asked to use my discount code on the Costa app but she refused to accommodate They should have some manners and respect towards customers

Love the Mediterranean food, all freshly cooked with a good atmosphere.

Came here on Saturday after I initially booked a table for the jazz, Sadly the first few hours we had to sit outside due to the venue inside being overcrowded but the hostess was kind enough to find us a table inside later on. The drinks and the bar are amazing and Alex took great care of us, I suggest you make a note if you want to be inside otherwise there’s a high chance you’ll get sat outside

Roast duck pho was great, lots more meat than your average

Excellent food and atmosphere, however we did feel they were trying to get rid of us quickly, even though the 4 of us had only been there just over an hour.

The pizzas were very good, they served us very well even with all the takeout orders they had, we recommend it.

¡Nos encantó Zima! El servicio era cálido. Auténtica experiencia gastronómica rusa con ensalada de olivier, shuba, vinagreta, pelmeni, blinis con caviar y por supuesto nastoyka. Los platos eran muy sabrosos. También nos encantó el hecho de que tenían vino moldavo. ¡Volveremos!
