Great food great prices friendly staff .The go to fish shop in the area .Fish and chips that taste like they should every time

delivery time kept changing took an hour in the end before delivery, only to find that two of the cod that I ordered were missing, phone Kingfish to be told that they would send out the other two cod waited another hour but never received them. Very disappointed.

Disappointed with the service and the quality of fish. Small portions, broken fish. Low quality chips with many small end old and burnt. With smell of old oil.

Surprisingly big portion and really tasty. My husband bought it home for lunch, and it was still hot and tasted very fresh, wasn't too greasy as well. Will definitely recommend!

The freshest made, crunchiest most succulent, salt and vinegary fishy deliciousness in New Malden, Kingston. Sometimes I have a pie and chips with pickled onions. The staff are always polite. The place is always spotless and has four tables. It only costs a little over 8 pounds.

I did like this place until i went in the other day. I was showing a staff member something on my phone. Boss spoke to him in his language (RUDE) they in ENGLAND!!!! then the staff member stopped speaking with me. Ill not be using them again......

Good fish in thin batter. Generous portion. Small size fries are enough for 2 adult men. Mozzarella sticks done perfectly.

Very disappointed with the service and the quality of fish. They used to be our favourite fish and chips place. But recently we are getting small portions, broken fish pieces, over cooked fish, even burnt in parts of the fish. Yesterday we had very old chips with many small end old and burnt. With smell of old oil. Very disappointed.

Curry sauce undercooked, can taste flour. Chis we’re mainly bits, fish ok.Not worth the price sadly.

I am disappointed they don't have card machines. However, everything else is spot on so it's not that bad. The food is delicious and generous portions. Which scores extra points for that. Nice staff too!

Following my awful experience elsewhwere I had to write a review for King Fish. Absolutely fantastic chips, friendly service and the price is very reasonable.

Always friendly staff, great fish and chips ( a large could feed 1 adult and child). Has pies as well. Kids meals and fish bites are also great for a couple of people.

Twice now the chips have been overcooked and a bit greasy. Fish was ok but the texture of the batter wasn’t the best ( soggy but oil coming off and leaving fingers greasy ). Burger the actual patty was burnt and dry and seems like they are a lot thinner,the lettuce was a bit bruised in places ( old ). Steak and kidney pie was overcooked. Saveloys were from the Lunchtime period and we got ours at 18:15 !!!!!. We have noticed that the Food standards and quality are slipping ! Not sure if this is because the "Boss " is never at the shop anymore,the Chip Shop used to be one of the Busiest and Best Fish and Chips but unfortunately not lately.

The best chip shop I have been to in Kingston by far. Chips taste like seaside chips, sausage in batter was crispy and good batter to sausage ratio and the curry sauce was delicious! Will defo be the only chip shop we come to from now on. 100% recommend.

Came here whilst having my car serviced and mot. I had a haddock and chips, and a cup of tea. Service at the restaurant was excellent good staff. Time taken again for my meal to arrive again excellent. And I have to say again that the fish and chips were also excellent. I would definitely come back again.

I tried my first fish and chips in Manchester and was really disappointed. I thought there is nothing special in that and was curious why its uk traditional dish. Then i tried in this shop which is next to my house and quality of the fish and chips is really good. You have to wait 5 minutes so they can make freshly for you. Really tasty and clean. I would recommend it.

Food was awful. Chips were old and hard. I had 1/4 cheese burger I've had better than what I've had tonight. none of the fish was liked at all. Won't be eating from there again.

This is the best Fish & chips restaurant in Kingston. They provide excellent customer service. I find the boss and staff very helpful and polite. The place is always clean. I do recommend this place 100%.

Very bad service. I order Cod fish and large chips. He put in my box 6 springs rolls and chips. Even I went back straight away he didn't want to say sorry about put wrong order in the box. He put cold fish and very hard chips in my box. I will not recommend to anyone this bad service shop. Rude staff.

After dr's appointment wanted to treat MYSELF for 🐟 & chips at Kingfish. It's the BEST but opted for a cheap treat chips and a quarter pounder burger. Great service, they customised my order no problems. Yummy 😋😄😋😋 MAMA's 😘 CHIPS 💯❣️👌🏿😁 what else is there to say, STILL the same. Keep going, again best chips ever, slightly disappointed with the salad though no 🍅 or 🥒 but no spoiler on the chips 👍🏿😋. Thanks for soothing me‼️💚

Best chippy out there. We travel up from Fulham, it's about 6 miles and around 30mins in the car. That says it all!!!

Best chippy in Kingston and worth driving to. Large portions, properly cooked, nice staff. All hangs on the oldest member of staff though (who was away for a while but now back) and if all the younger guys are on then service drops. I also don't like the new boxes over paper but you can't have everything. Prices are good for SW London.

Cod was amazing, freshly cooked for me, chips were nice but found a long dark hair in my curry sauce when I'd eaten most of it, gutted as I hadn't been there in ages and as it's too far for me to walk as I'm disabled and I was delighted when I was given a lift there.

This place looked clean and smelt clean. The food was fried after ordering, so it was nice and fresh. The service was good and the food was good (and plentiful). Good value.

Really tasty cod, chips! I ordered the large cod and chips, all food tasted great. Pros - Hot, flavourful food - Quickly served and received food in 10 mins max. Cons - Forks are not great they're about as useful as chopsticks when trying to cut up the fish on the go. But work for the chips. - when there's a large queue they are quite disorganised. If the manager reads this: I recommend a Starbucks approach, where a name is taken when placing your order, that way you just call out the name when the order is ready. Or you could use a ticketing system. -£8.70 for the meal is quite expensive. Overall it's one of the best fish and chips shops in New Malden. Recommended.

The lady that used to work before was always nice and understand customer service, at the current we do not see the smile that we used to see in her face in the current staff. also she used to make people leave with a smile. Otherwise love the fish and chips there.

The best fish and chips I have ever had . Was worth the 5 mile drive after hearing great reviews on the quality and service received within the atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone! Wonderful chips - tasty and crispy, and large, fresh fish, (I always have haddock, fried to order), and the batter is delicious. It's clean, friendly, speedy, and the best value takeaway. Apart from going up North, where they fry in dripping or something, and that's a whole different experience, this is the best chippie around. Also COVID safe - masks worn and restricted access.

Try for yourself. Perfect chips. Excellent customer service. We have been to this great family run chippy very often over the years. We last visited last week, everything was perfect, as always. Literally one of the best, if not THE best fish 'n' chips we have ever eaten. Love, respect and longevity to the family.

I was standing for 25 minutes watching 6 other people coming in after me, making orders and leaving with food while I still waited When I approached the counter asking when my order will be ready they looked confused, they forgot! They could say "sorry" but instead they tried to claim that people made "telephone orders" (hmmm - no, they made orders just like me, in the shop, I was there mate, I heard!). Well, there is a plenty of fish in the sea and plenty of fish and chips shops around. Do not lie to paying customers, it's not worth it.

Food is great quality( better than chippy’s I've been to by the sea) for a reasonable price and the staff are extremely friendly.

Huge portions, tasty food, popular with locals and always a queue to be prepared to wait but worth it. They really need to introduce a numbering system as they take phone orders and people are just all over the place. With COVID - there’s no social distancing, people just walking in to collect. All you have to do is introduce a number system, tell everyone who has ordered to wait outside and it would work so much better!

I have food twice a week at Kingsfish with friends. I see with my own eyes that they are extremely clean they change the oils and everything is from fresh. It is the tastest fish and chips I have ever tried in london. The staff is very friendly and very hardworking. The price is cheap, the portions are extremely huge, and the fish is sooo tastyyyy!!!! I advise everyone to try out !!

They have a New menu and better quality fish now, have tried many things from the menu and i can say they are all 8/10. ALWAYS CLEAN AND HYGIENIC - i cannot emphasis enough!!!!!!! Great customer service.. Weather you are a one time customer or regular, they are always friendly and funny. They always interact with the customer whilst waiting for your food to be ready, so that the customer is kept in great mood!
