Very friendly, watched the owner give a young lady some extra food and completely made her day.

Tried this place for the first time and was not disappointed. The battered cod had a light crispy batter meaning it wasn’t stodgy and oozing with oil like at other places. I went for a large chips which was adequate for me, even after my wife’s inevitable appropriation of a part. I didn’t dish up the whole portion, but I kept returning to the kitchen for more, and by the end of the evening there was nothing left. The premises themselves are unpretentious and well cared for with an old school charm. Friendly proprietor too. I’ll be back!

A cute little shop that I passed by accidentally, close to the station. The boss is friendly and enthusiastic, and there is a wide variety of fish and chips. Freshly fried and cooked, simple and delicious :)

Have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their prices are good, especially compared to other local chippys. We have never had any issues with the food, would recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal!
