Rosa's was our go-to cafe when we were living in Mortlake. Rosa and Karolina are such warm, friendly people and were so good with our daughters too. The coffee is fantastic, as are the pastries. We will drop-in for sure next time we're in the area

Delicious and authentic Nepalese cuisine (family run). Soothing, quiet, warm and cozy atmosphere, served by friendly and accommodating staff. I ordered their chilli chicken tilkka masala, chicken choila, pilau rice and nan and loved all my dishes very much - nicely seasoned, spicy and fresh. Highly recommended and eager to return.

Immediately felt comfortable in this elegant and sophisticated restaurant. Helpful and efficient staff. They also posted to me a small packet I'd left behind. It has a well deserved reputation as the best restaurant in SWLondon.

Afternoon tea in this stunning hotel and restaurant. The price is stunning as well - 100 pounds pp without any add ons. It is served in three courses of sandwiches first, scones, jams, and pastries second and a dessert course last. You get to choose a new tea with each course. It’s all excellent but you can have a very nice dinner for that price.

A great variety on menu, very clean fish and chips, outstanding decor a must try hotspot in ruislip well worth a visit everytime and never fails to disappoint. Great service too 😀

Staff should be trained how to treat the guests.

Lovely Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches were very tasty and the scones gorgeous. Didn’t have any of the cakes as we were too full but they were boxed up for us so yet to have them. The alcoholic cocktail was most enjoyable together with the champagne we ordered. Went to another high end hotel last year but we all agreed The Lanesborough was far nicer. The staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble and the ambience was relaxing. Definitely recommend.

The steak was swimming in water and squeaky when cutting. Both signs of hasty defrosting. Otherwise the side dishes were good enough.

I stumbled upon The Tava Shop in Croydon, and wow, it hit all the right notes! We ordered Dabeli, Vadapav, Chicken Fried Rice, and Rasmalai Cake, and every bite took us right back to the flavors of India. We were a bit hesitant at first since the place was empty, but decided to grab a takeaway – and I’m so glad we did! The food was genuinely amazing, like proper Indian street food. If you’re looking for that nostalgic, authentic taste, this is the spot. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!
