Gem of a local Italian restaurant. Visited yesterday for lunch. Delicious food, particularly the pasta. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic fresh food, lots of choice, cooked with great care and well presented. Fabulous service from the lovely Nora. Very reasonable bill. An absolute gem.

Came down from Yorkshire and had a lovely meal there, portions were large snd really tasty. Staff friendly, definitely recommend to anyone who fancies an authentic Italian meal

A real gem. The food was wonderful, simple and joyous. The service couldn’t have been better, not overly fussy as can sometimes be the case. Polite, swift, informative. The beef ragu was incredible, the steak perfect, and the vegan pasta was perfect. Highly recommended and great value.

I ordered through Uber Eats. Gorgonzola e Noci pizza 🍕 (vegetarian) Let me tell you , pizza tastes incredible. It teleported me to Italy. 🇮🇹 Very well-made pizza with quality ingredients; you can feel it. As well I had pistachio tiramisu; it was average, tbh, had nuts on top and a bit of dressing on top.

This is one of the best place where to dine in the area, everything is home made and delicious. See you soon guys..you are great

Best place to eat in the Kingston/richmond area: you can pay twice as much elsewhere, and not get anything half as good! Imaginative pasta dishes and pizza combinations, the best tiramisu, and a very good reasonably priced wine menu. Looking forward to our next visit - thanks Mauricio!

Went back on Friday with friends for dinner. Everything was spot on and would recommend to anyone looking for quality food with great staff to look after you. I look forward to heading along again in the not too distant future.

Absolutely superb proper traditional Italian restaurant. Interesting menu with creative options for the pasta dishes. Also pizzas. Great tasting food and think the pasta is made fresh on site. Really friendly staff and we had a lovely, fun time here on Mothering Sunday. Would recommend and will definitely return to this hidden gem.

Very nice Italian restaurant. We had a pleasant lady as host and we ate good rustic food. I ate red mullet as a starter and calf's liver for the main course and a tart with vanilla cream for dessert. There were 5 of us and everyone agreed that the place was well worth a visit.

I was down in London for the weekend on a course and found this place when looking for places for evening meals. I arrived and was instantly welcomed in and shown my table. The food and service was excellent and the cozy atmosphere added to the meal experience. I went with the spaghetti di manzo as a main and the garlic pizza bread for a side, and the tiramasu pistachio special for dessert, which were all fantastic quality with generous portion size. The staff really made an effort to welcome me and ensured I enjoyed my evening and food. Would highly recommend and would go back if I'm ever down again!

Where to start with La Dolce Vita? Today’s special pasta, the truffle & slow cooked beef ragu was absolutely delicious. Amazing dessert too. The service was perfect, very friendly and great recommendations. In my opinion, Teddington’s best restaurant.

What a delightful evening! It was my first time here, and I was dining alone. As soon as I came in, Kacy made me feel so welcome, giving me all the attention and service of a fine dining experience, which I came to find out is the case here! The food was amazing - bruschetta, carbonara & sorbet with cocktails and limoncello to finish. The highlight for me was Kacy - attentive, happy, funny and kind - she made the experience of eating alone that much better!! I will be returning for sure.

I made a what-turned-out-to-be wise decision to book a table several weeks in advance of what was a very busy Valentine's Night service and it's just as well I did as the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Maurizio and his team never fail to deliver a very high standard and last night proved no exception. We went for the full blow-out: starters, garlic bread, mains, desserts and two bottles of the excellent Gavi white wine which realised a three-figure bill but we don't regret anything about the fine service we received. I think I'll enjoy the vegan menu next time.

Small, friendly and relaxed serving the most excellent Italian food. Hard to choose what to have! As well as the a la carte there are daily specials. The service is charming and personal, the food prepared and presented with care. This was a first visit to this independent Italian and we will be back to work our way through the menu and support a local business that puts heart and soul into its food. Delicious!

I had a fantastic experience at La Dolce Vita Teddington with my daughters. We ordered the Napoli pizza with anchovies, a Margherita pizza, and a kids' menu option. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and welcoming, making it a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful meal.

Maurizio is an amazing host and the food is absolutely delicious and they should charge more! The food is very modesty priced and I keep coming back as it's the best Italian restaurant I've had ever!!!!

Four of us had a fabulous meal here on a Saturday night. Great menu with something for all. Lovely ambiance with friendly staff and the best of fresh food. Well worth the few minutes walk from the Main Street of Teddington. We look forward to returning here whenever we are in the area again. Teddington is ideally situated close to Bushy Park for the Saturday morning Park Run. Book this restaurant and you won’t regret it!

What an a wonderful place! We popped in with your out two sons aged 5 and 8. The kid's menu was amazing and well priced. The boys loved the activity menu and found the food super yummy. My husband had the wild boar Ragu and I had the mushroom fettuccine. It was all perfect. The service was spectacular and we felt so well looked after. We will definitely be going back! Once again another amazing lunch in this amazing restaurant. The food is full of flavour, I had scallopes to start and seafood pasta as a main..the scallopes were served with pea mash and wrapped with pancetta, the pasta was out of the moon, full of fish with the right amount of chilli and garlic gnam gnam I will definitely be back soon... Staying in Teddington for a couple of nights and thought we’d try it. A wonderful, family run restaurant, with impeccable service and food, it felt like we were being welcomed into their home. Top tip: just order the specials, they were delightful

This was our first visit and we had an excellent lunch. All the food was delicious and the service was quick and very friendly. We would definitely go there again if we are visiting the area and thoroughly recommend it. It is only a short walk from Strawberry Hill House, Strawberry Hill Station and St Mary's University Twickenham.

We were looking for a restaurant where to eat quickly since we had less than one hour before going to an appointment. We got to this little but cozy Italian restaurant at lunch time. We met the owner (Maurizio) who was so warm and kind that we became friends in no time!! We explained we were in a particular hurry, we ordered some mains that he recommended and in less than 10 minutes he came out of the kitchen with three dishes of pasta that were so good, we thought to be on the Alps!! We have used the restaurant several times, but most recently on Christmas Day. It is a relatively small family run restaurant, with excellent, warm service. The food is to a high standard, and the Christmas menu was excellent! The atmosphere was cosy, and Mauricio, the owner looks after his clients well. If you want a good, comfortable, moderately priced restaurant, this is the place for you!

Ordered delivery through Just Eat. I had the Fettucini Funghi, my wife had the Parpadelli wild boar Ragout. Both meals came really nicely presented and were absolutely delicious. I'd love to see what the atmosphere is like if we were to eat in.

We've lived in Teddington for 15 years and had never gone to La Dolce Vita until this week. What a shame we hadn't gone before! Food (and wine) was amazing. Service was great, and very quick. Our children said it was the best pizza in teddington! The sardines were awesome too. Can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful experience. Came here on a whim on a rainy Saturday night - probably due to the weather a same-day reservation was easy to nab. The owner Maurizio made us feel really welcome; we enjoyed the shrimp starter, then split asparagus ravioli and steak as our mains, then the pistacio panna cotta for dessert. Everything was fantastic but the ravioli - the ravioli I'm still dreaming about several days later. WOW! Please don't take this off the menu as I'll need to have it again next time I dine with you (which I hope will be soon). We also loved the complimentary limoncello at the end of our meal - really took the sting of the cold out as we trudged back to reality. La Dolce Vita is an excellent choice for a meal in Teddington, punching way above its weight for a neighborhood spot. Go!

Ordered the king prawn, rocket , pistachio and cherry tomatoes in Lobster bisque. The spaghetti wasn’t fresh, the dish lacked flavour and was dry very little sauce. The prawns were lovely and went well with the pistachios. Just was disappointed as lacked depth in flavour it was dull sadly

This small restaurant has takeaway service so you have to deal with a masked person wearing helmets coming in and coming out in a very restricted area every other minute, not very pleasant. The food is only average if so... The prices are high for what you get. Won't go there again.

Such a great find after a loss at the twickenham game we stumbled across La Dolce Vita. With a warm welcome from Maurizio, we were seated quickly and had a drink in hand within minutes. We shared the Frittura Di Pesce followed Penne arrabbiata and wild boar pasta washed down with a bottle of red. We ended the night singing along with Maurizio to some old Italian songs. The most wonderful food and service. Our first time here and it was absolutely divine. There were no empty tables, and although only two members of staff served the entire restaurant the service was superb.

Recently moved into the area and tried it with a few friends last night. Exceptional Italian food, all the classics available - we tried a bunch of different pizzas, calzone, lasagna, tagliatelle w/ aubergine & of-course the tiramisu for desserts - tutto molto gustoso. Highly recommend and this is now my fav local.

But at La Dolce Vita, she was not only able to enjoy a gluten-free pizza, she declared it the best she’s ever had! To find a place where she can safely enjoy such a delicious meal without feeling like she’s missing out is priceless. From their authentic flavors to their thoughtful service, La Dolce Vita has quickly become one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend it to anyone, especially families!

This was the 2nd time coming La Dolce Vita. Both times the food and service have been amazing. This time my parent and my in-laws came with us. We all had a mixture of food from the main menu and the daily specials menu, we all agreed that the food was outstanding. This s is now my go to restaurant in Teddington.

This was my second time at La Dolce Vita and I had again a very enjoyable experience, with great food and service, and a relaxed atmosphere. This time I went with my son. We had Italian classics with a creative touch that added to the dishes without changing their “soul”, which as an Italian I appreciated: arancini with venison, fried calamari and prawns, cannelloni with haddock and asparagus, pappardelle with wild boar ragu’, chocolate cake, and panna cotta with berries. Everything was delicious. I will keep coming back.

This was our second visit, both times were on the eve of the Great River Race. The service and food were impeccable, and we were made very welcome. It's becoming a tradition for our Crews (from Pembrokeshire in South West Wales) to visit La Dolce Vita. Its a long way to come but definitely worthwhile. See you next year.
