The Ledbury in Kensington and Chelsea

A truly wonderful experience. I’ve had the privilege of being to a few 3 star restaurants and this tops the lot. The room itself is beautifully furnished and has a lovey atmosphere. All the staff are friendly and make you at ease. Some 3 stars can be stuffy and too formal but in no way is this the experience here. The 8 course tasting menu is magnificent, the canapés before the menu starts are also amazing. My nut allergy was accommodated with changes made to the dishes where needed. If you want to spoil yourself for a special occasion you won’t be disappointed.

The Ledbury is Brett Graham's flaghship restaurant. After many years with two stars and a Covid-related closure in 2020-2021, it re-secured 2 stars when reopening in 2022 and three in 2024. There is an 8 course menu option only, priced at £ 275. I was unsure whether I would manage 8 courses, being somewhat under the weather, and I skipped the amuse bouches, unlike my daughter, who liked them very much. I need not have worried, as the dishes were all very light and not filling. The portions were also well proportioned. The Ike Jime Chalk Trout starter was delicious and refreshing, and the Mylor Prawn starter for me was the best dish of the menu. But the quail from Vendée, the Cornish dover sole with quince, the mushrooms from the Cabinet (you HAVE to see the mushroom growing cabinet chef Graham had built for the reopening - a sigh to behold!!), and the Sika deer were all precisely executed and the ingredients well sourced. Of the two dessert, the Hacienda Chocolate one with blood orange and cherrywood lapsang looked substantial but was in fact ethereally light. I even managed to have some of the excellent sourdough bread with the equally excellent lightly salted Normandy butter. The wine we or I had was a South African Chenin blanc from Alheit - very good. Service was relaxed but professional, and I did have a nice talk with Chef Graham. This is proper 3 star dining.

A bit rare for a three star, there is no bar or other relaxed space in the restaurant, just a dining room. Neither you can see kitchen working. But, food is very, very good. 8 course set menu. Not for vegans. Wine pairing available. Good variety of wines by the bottle. Every dish was very good, most excellent. Portions were rather abundant, dessert was too much.

Fantastic restaurant, service and food. This is a not to be missed restaurant in London and is by far the best 3* Restaurant I have been to to date. Food was outstanding. We are here prior to Covid , and had one of the great meals of our lives . Back now , it’s even better - the duck parfait was ridiculously good , each dish was a new sensation . Wine pairings were excellent and very well thought out . Service was friendly and knowledgeable , and Chef was very engaging . Go if you can .

We had a truly memorable experience at The Ledbury. The food is extraordinary and the service unimpeachable. Unlike some other top tier restaurants, The Ledbury remains remarkably unpretentious. We were pleasantly surprised to find that prices were not increased after the restaurant received its third Michelin star last year. It remains expensive but well worth it for a special occasion splurge.

Wonderful 3 hat experience. Brett leads from the floor inspiring his staff and customers with his hands-in curation. We came to watch the first Australian to achieve 3 hats at work and were astonished to see the most gregarious and engaged chef we have ever seen at any rated resto. Under his energy, the Ledbury delivers high performance cuisine with a relaxed social client ambience.

A truly exceptional dining experience. This restruant's 3 Michellin starts are well deserved but unlike other equally starred establishments, THe Ledbury delivers even more in terms of atmosphere, hospitality , warm and genuine friendly service without pretense. Jack, our lead server made the evening very special as did Chef/Owner Brett's personal service tableside which was most impressive. We will gladly return again!!!!!!!!!! Great place with exceptional service

We went to the Ledbury for celebrating birthday. Ordered 6 courses for lunch. I have to say everything feels perfect, food, services, vibe etc. Got lovely birthday cards, birthday dessert plate, and I believe there are extra food or dessert for birthday as we definitely feel even too full after 6 courses. And the food itself is amazing as well. Creative and tasty, 10/10. We forgot to take a picture of the menu, and basically stopped the waiter for every plate to explain what it is. Thanks for the patience :))

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at Ledbury. I was feeling unwell when I visited, and instead of receiving any empathy or proper service, I was met with complete indifference. The staff was rude and seemed uninterested in providing any help. The service was painfully slow, and the food was underwhelming at best. I’ve had higher quality meals at cheaper places. For a restaurant with such a high reputation, I expected far more – not just in terms of food but in customer service as well. I left feeling worse than when I came in. Absolutely disappointing, and I will never return. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Three Michelin stars, The Ledbury It was the first time I ate raw ham and it tasted so good. I used to feel nauseous when I ate raw ham. Their dishes also incorporate many Japanese elements into them, giving Western food the lightness of Japanese food. The cinnamon rolls in the meal packages are huge. of praise! So delicious! Although I won’t get three stars until 2024, I think gold will always shine! The chef often comes out to serve dishes and asks everyone about the delicacy of the dishes. The emotional value is very high. He also took us to visit the kitchen. The day of the meal was Chinese Valentine's Day. It was a very happy day!

From start to finish this was a lovely evening with my partner, the staff were amazing and the ambiance throughout the evening was extremely pleasant, the food was presented to a high standard, and the wine was extraordinary. Highly recommended and will be attending again.

Very good restaurant overall. Some service could be a bit more refined. Dishes overall was good, however we did not pick out any really standout dishes. One of the quail dishes had sinew/bone inside which at this level is not really acceptable. That being said, meal was good, but would think twice about going again to try another menu.

We dined at several Michelin restaurants. Most did not surprised us as much as The Ledbury. We were pampered with awesomely delicious meal. Everyone has to come here. Service was good.

What an experience. Everything about the lunch was exceptional. The staff were ever present but not obtrusive. The sommelier was brilliant and provided excellent options The food - often in a tasting menu one course doesn’t quite live up to it but at the Ledbury each course was simply outstanding and the experience was taken to a new level as the maestro - Brett Graham was front of house and came and explained the dish whilst adding the finishing touches. The time just flew by and on leaving we were presented with a lovely bottle of his rapeseed oil. Having eaten at a number of 3*- this is definitely top of the list. Definitely worth the money and we cannot wait to return Thanks Brett and all your staff for a truly memorable occasion.

Brett was an amazing host for the evening. The service was excellent and we were exposed to fantastic different flavors. Thank you for an unforgettable memory! We also went to his pub, the Harwood Arms after a Chelsey game. Highly recommended.

The whole experience was out of the world. Each course had its own story and everything blended in perfectly all together. Definitely recommend!!
