lovely restaurant in a very nice area. i went there for my birthday. we felt welcomed from the beginning. super friendly staff with a lot knowledge. food was amazing. plating on point and super interesting flavors and techniques. i loves that they have their own farms with animals and are very close to their suppliers. i could taste the amazing quality. my wife has a bell pepper intolerance and she got a great substitute dish. the owner is super friendly and comes to the table to present some dishes. great guy. hopefully i will manage to come back one day.. i would totally recommend this restaurant and wish all the staff all the best.

Experiencing the Ledbury is similar to experiencing a wonderful new country with its unique culture, values and belief systems. The Ledbury is London (and England) at its finest and nicest! Don't go there just for a 3 michelin star meal but go for a wholistic culinary experience...and be open while there to learn so much in the process! I don't need to say too much about the food, I'm not articulate about food enough to do so plus its 3 michelin stars - as well as the attached photos - can say far more than I can; I do however want to thank everyone working there, who are not only extraordinarily nice, but also intelligent, charming, personable and so so knowledgeable about food! Would I go back again? Yes and without hesitation, the moment I can spare another $1150 for 2 people! :-D

I've been to 10+ Michelin Star restaurants (including 3 with 3 stars), and The Ledbury is my favorite fancy restaurant ever by a huge mile. Every dish has impressed me both times I've gone. I always leave feeling the right amount of full. Staff are attentive, friendly, and professional. And it manages to feel perfectly upscale without being stuffy or pretentious at all, which I cannot say of many far less-impressive Michelin Star experiences. Go here, you will not regret it!

❤️The Ledbury 📍127 Ledbury Rd, London W11 2AQ . The Ledbury is really a Michelin-starred restaurant that I have been cultivating since I was a student. This time I went to eat there when my friends came to visit! It’s usually hard to make a reservation, so make an appointment in advance! . There will be various snacks at the beginning, starting with ham, biscuits and fried seafood. Sourdough bread with goat cheese will appear after eating a few dishes. I especially like the bread with a bit of moss flavor. The surface is sweet but not greasy, and the pastry is just right. . 🌟Ike Jime Chalk Stream Trout The seafood is super fresh, with the flavors of raspberries and mustard powder, and it is very good from presentation to taste. . 🌟Cornish Sea Bass This dish is really beautiful. Cornish seafood is really good. There are colorful flowers all around, and the asparagus is cut very finely. It tastes very refreshing! . 🌟Veal Sweetbread Served with English peas and lime, it's very rich in layers, and the beef is cooked just right, so it doesn't taste too old, and the sauce is a plus! . 🌟Wild Turbot The white asparagus is really delicious and fresh, and the turbot with caviar makes the flavor even more special. The taste is salty, which is perfect for pairing with wine. . 🌟Mushrooms from the Cabinet The mushrooms are really amazing, because the mushrooms are at the bottom, and there is still some garlic aroma. The method is very special, and it doesn’t just taste like mushrooms. The sauce goes well with bread! . 🌟6 Year Old Jersey Beef This should be my best one. The beef is not aged at all. The flavors of black olives and tomatoes are embellished. The sauce is sweet, which I love very much. The two so-called "dumplings" that are paired with it should taste like Parmesan cheese, which is not bad. . 🌟Gariguette Strawberry & Mille Feuille Desserts are quite satisfactory, the strawberries are sour and sweet, with a cool texture, and the mille-feuille takes a long time to make. It is a butterfly biscuit with mango, lemon, mint, etc. in the middle, which has a very refreshing taste. . 💰Per capita: £250+ .

An extraordinary dining experience at The Ledbury, exuding perfection in every aspect. A London classic fine dining restaurant, recently awarded its well deserving third Michelin star, had a high expectation to live up to. From the moment we stepped in, we were embraced in an atmosphere of refined elegance and unparalleled hospitality. The array of amuse-bouche set the tone perfectly, with the tantalizing Iberico collar and neck aged for 9 months, accompanied by a chestnut biscuit with duck liver mousse and quince, and a scallop tempura with seaweed butter. Each bite offered a delightful interplay of flavors and textures, expertly balanced by the chef. The entrees continued to impress, with the refreshing Trout paired with blood orange and apple marigold, and the lightly torched line-caught black bream with asparagus and black truffle. The tender veal sweetbread, complemented by XO Sauce and tangy sauerkraut, provided a satisfying balance of flavors and textures. Perfectly cooked wild turbot is paired with Iberian ham and razor clam, highlighted the chef's expertise in seafood cookery, while the double ravioli made with mushrooms from the restaurant's own cabinet showcased the earthy richness of the wild mushrooms. Special mention must be made of their sensational sourdough, with its crispy crust and soft center, and the exquisite wild garlic scroll, a savory pastry with subtle yet satisfying garlic flavors and incredibly crispy layers. The staff who offered us refills and even sent us home with extra bread and pastries, added an extra layer of warmth to our dining experience. Truly, The Ledbury sets the standard for fine dining in London. For the main course, the 10-day aged pigeon was expertly cooked, elevated by the tangy rhubarb and rich coffee notes, resulting in a bold and robust flavor profile. Finally, the sweet part started with a refreshing lemon sorbet as a palate cleanser, while the decadent dark chocolate creation infused with Cherrywood Lapsang, paired with quince and bergamot presented an unforgettable chocolate experience, enhanced by the toasted vanilla ice cream. Our 8-course lunch, lasted 4 hours, was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was meticulously crafted, stunningly presented and bursting with flavors. The genuine warmth and heartfelt service added an extra layer of magic, creating an effortless connection with customers, a rarity in traditional fine dining.

All the staff was so nice taking time to have real conversations. Brett, the owner was on the floor waiting the tables and also spoke to all the tables including ours which was so nice to see. My partner and I was also so happy that we were able to support a fellow Aussie business 🫶 They even gave me a personalized printed + hand written card, the best special dessert and a cute take home present!! My god, that was splendid. Thank god you guys didn't close down. I can simply attest to the absolute world-class food that is being served here. Everything is precise, complex, surprising, and always utterly delicious; it is creative, without ever sacrificing taste. There is rarely a menu (even at this level) that never has any hiccup, but here I found it. And for this level of cooking, it is even - compared to other restaurants at this level - affordable! Service is charming, quick-witted, and very attentive. I even got a small kitchen tour afterwards, which was very much appreciated from my side. A personal favourite, simply because at this level it's a pet peeve of mine: water is free. ;) Also, the toilets got a chuckle out of me.

Does not meet the 3 Michelin star award and accolades that it has received recently. I miss The Ledbury’s pre-Covid era. I think there will be many oversees visitors who want to experience The Ledbury after seeing it on world-wide lists and what-not, I would suggest that there are so many options in London and this restaurant should fall very low on your list. Food We had the long tasting menu for lunch. There wasn’t a single memorable dish - for the right reasons anyway. 1. Every dish is “completed” at the table. It’s as if they’re doing it for the sake of it. Why on earth would you put frozen fruit on top of trout. The temperatures were all wrong and the fruit and other flavours overpowered the trout. 2. Almost every dish had an “Asian” element e.g kaffir lime with the sweetbread, miso with the dessert, seaweed with a custard dessert. If they had worked then it would be great, but it’s like they’re trying to do something modern and falling flat. 3. Taste your own cooking please chef. The miso in the dessert was so salty. It is not fancy cooking just because you add in a Japanese ingredient. If you don’t know how to use it well then it’s better not to. 4. A few particularly bad dishes - “tempura scallop” which had thicker batter than my chippies beer battered cod, the frozen fruit trout, the acclaimed mushroom dish that was one lousy oyster mushroom doused in green foam (see photo). Ambience 1. My subjective opinion is that the recent refurbishment is lacking - dried flowers hanging from the ceiling akin to what you would find at H&M home, each table had plastic salt and pepper shakers etc. 2. There has been a significant increase the headcount per sitting and thus significantly reducing the space between tables. 3. Most of the tables are for couples, and face into the room. However there are about 2 tables where this is not the case and my husband spent 4 hours with his back to the restaurant. Service 1. Extremely poor “welcome”. We were seated at our table, and then no one else acknowledged us. After 10 minutes of waiting I had to ask someone for a menu. 2. There is one server dedicated to refilling guests water and he kept interchanging between filling our cups with still and sparkling water. 3. I enjoyed the wine and sommelier recommendations. I don’t like that he served us the petit fours and then said “Thats it. Done. No more.”and walked away. Like he was declaring it was time for us to leave. If you have grown up with a palette accustomed to traditional cooking techniques (British/ French), but want to feel like you’re oh so cultured and taking your first steps into trying new flavours - this might be right up your street if you can afford it. It’s a pretty safe bet for decent food that won’t offend as it doesn’t push any boundaries. However if you have experience and understanding of East Asian ingredients then you will be disappointed by the poor execution of combining it into The Ledbury’s cooking. The reason I think there are very few low review of this restaurant is because everyone loves to jump on a bandwagon, a lot of reviewer came to visit because of the shiny award and knew they were coming for theatrics (to post on instagram or what not), and also no one wants to admit to throwing away £600 on a sub-par meal. PS. They seemed to be selective about which customers they treated better than others 🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏼‍♀️

If you want fish and flowers go for it! Whatever you do don’t get sick because if you can’t go for whatever reason you don’t get back any money if you cancel. That is £225 per person! Absolute joke. Most tasting dishes were fish. Then there was pork cooked 3 different ways that were full of fat. With the same sauce so you could not taste the difference in cooking methods anyway. Also when one of the waiters (we had about 7-8 at different times)was grating wasabi into my dish to as flavour none of it actually went on the plate as it stayed on his brush!

I've been waiting for visiting this place for a while now and I would say, the overall experience was good. They started with a few pre course appetizers which I would say were much better than the actual items on the menu. I liked how well they showcased the vegetables besides proteins and the complex flavors from each of the greens worked really well with the overall dishes. If I were to point out any faults it would be with the Lobster tail, which should have cut like butter as opposed to it being a bit on the chewier side. I liked the vegetarian course which was the mushroom and ravioli, really different from what I've had before. The final main was the pork, and wow! The cook was perfect plus the sauces and citric tones worked beautifully with the protein. My favourite dish of the evening has to be the dessert - Millefeuille, the Mangoes tasted unreal...and that made the experience heavenly! Given the efforts they put into crafting each course, I'll give it a 5 star

⭐️ EXCEPTIONAL ⭐️ 3 stars and we can see why. Very interesting menu (especially the wines 🍷), here’s what we thought: ☑️ flavours and blends were bold and almost akin to Hestons ☑️ wine pairs, amazing - really loved the stories of the vineyard and the pairing ☑️ incredibly attentive staff, many younger people working but very friendly and knowledgable ☑️ start tout was one of the most amazing dishes I’ve ever had. So intresting and deep, win pair again flawless ☑️ left very full! Lots of other little course included Did it make my top 3? Personally not quite which for those interested goes (1) Gordon’s (UK) (2) Jays (France) (3) Fat Duck (Hestons UK). This is a deep person choice effected by menu specific to my pallet. But does it come above Core - yes, I believe it does. In my view (only mine) this is what could be done to get even higher: 🔘 venue was a bit, not my thing. Its missing the open view of the kitchen that Core and Jays has - which demonstrates the skill sets of the chiefs 🔘 pricing is OK, comparable to Core - but not the value that Jays offers. 🔘 flavours and experiential stuff is near perfect, pushing the imagery further would challenge even the Fat Duck. But again, what do I know? An amazing place that is well worth a visit. Wishing business and owners the best with this great venue and all the success that will come 👍

The sommelier is very knowledgeable, the wine list is extensive and reasonably priced, we found a rare label for a relative bargain, that we really enjoyed. The service is definitely at a 3 star level, couldn’t fault it in any way. The ambiance - comfortable, the ambient noise is people’s conversations, you feel like you’re in a proper restaurant, unlike the stuck up fine dining places where people practically whisper due to the quiet nature of the restaurants. The food was, well, inconsistent. The amuse bouches, the first couple courses, and one of the desserts - the gariguette strawberry, were executed to the perfection you’d expect from a 3-starred establishment. Other courses left me scratching my head, like the veal sweetbread, which was drowned in pea sauce. Just felt like a waste of such a lovely piece of meat, when all it was, was a vehicle to showcase the peas. The mushrooms from the cabinet were unimpressive, the deer course had amazing bits, like the deer heart, the deer breast confit, and some not-so-nice ones, like the overly gamey lollipop. Given the inconsistency with the courses, I wonder if the restaurant got promoted too soon? It would definitely make for a solid 2-star restaurant, not sure if I would call it a 3-star establishment, though. Hence, why at the level where it’s competing, I can’t help but give it 4 stars, on par with my experience at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. I’d give 4.25 if I could.

I can give anyone who’s considering dining at The Ledbury an unreserved recommendation to do so, it is a genuinely fabulous place to eat. It has, after all, three Michelin stars. So it sits in pretty rarified company and in the upper echelons of gastronomy. So, as you may well expect, the food was a joy both visually and on the palette, the service both pleasant and effortlessly efficient. There are a couple of caveats that I believe are worth mentioning though. The first surrounds the almost too regimented and efficient nature of our evening. To elaborate a little on that. We were a little surprised by not being offered the opportunity to have an appetitive prior to eating, a glass of champagne is always a great way to start a decadent evening of haute cuisine after all. The first of our snacks were upon us in no time. Delicious as they undoubtedly were they would have been a perfect partner for a little fizz. I feel that perhaps a short interval halfway through the eighth courses, or prior to dessert, would be beneficial to the evening as a whole. I am still unsure as to the restaurant policy on table turnaround (mixed messages from the staff) and second sittings. We were unaware of there being any need to vacate our table after a set period of time, nor, I hasten to add, were we asked to do so, but when customers arrive and staff repeatedly glance over at your table, there seemed to be a subliminal message. Did this detract from our experience at The Ledbury ? Probably not, though we probably would have taken a digestif with coffee at the end of the evening. Would we return, I think the answer is yes. But probably not at the start of service.

Brett, Jack, Jeremy and the team never fail to make our many times at the Ledbury super special but Saturday night was probably the best time I’ve ever had there. I was well and truly made to feel like a celebrity on my birthday. The food never disappoints and the third Michelin star is thoroughly well deserved. And although we love the food, we certainly come back for the service. The personal touches, the laughs and jokes and obviously the Northern charm. Thank you guys - I will no doubt be back in a few months 🙏🏼

Incredible food and top-class hospitality. This place absolutely nailed relaxed Michelin-starred service, but still keeping the right level of formality! Thoroughly deserved their third star; restaurant at the top of their game!

From the moment I stepped in front of the building the service was impeccable. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The food was exceptional. Each bite was well thought out. The atmosphere was unpretentious which is usually rare in 3michelin star restaurants while also being completely thought out. The staff and service was honestly a sight to behold. I can’t remember anyone’s names sadly but I’ll get it next time I go. I’ll definitely be back. Money well spent. I could cry thinking about it.
