We met family in the restaurant and was disappointed. The chicken and mushroom pie, appeared small and contained little chicken and we couldn't find any mushrooms. The peas appeared hard and tasteless, the chips dry and just warm. The roll that accompanied the soup was extremely hard. Having spent 51 years in the food industry, in my opinion the quality for the price was lacking.

We had a wondeful time here thanks to Sophie’s above-and-beyond positive energy. We are very thankful for the service received tonight. If possible please give her a decent bonis for her hard work and enthusiastic customer service skills.

Had my birthday bash there, superb food great atmosphere, just pure class. No wonder they won multiple awards. The fine detail from flowers to soaps in washrooms. Their cocktails are OMG !!! Amazing. Be taking my guests there soon. keep it up Skewd !!!

All good except the restaurant. I have ordered a beef steak cooked medium rate and ı did not get the quality for the price ı have paid. It was one steak that was difficult to slice and chew as it was not tender at all. Quite a dissatisfaction and when ı gave this feedback, the guy in charge of the restaurant did absolutely nothing with the feedback and ignored my feedback. However other than this bad experience at the hotels restaurant for dining, the hotel was great, great rooms and accommodation, great staff at check in and check out. I would definitely stay there but without using the restaurant

I have visited this establishment multiple times and previously enjoyed the dining experience, but this visit was an extreme disappointment, primarily due to the appalling quality of service. From the start, the experience was riddled with mistakes and unprofessional behavior. After being seated and offered water, the waitress proceeded to pour water leaning over one of my guests as she could not reach over and spilling ice across the table. Instead of walking around to properly serve the water, she leaned over and attempted to clean up by using her hands to scoop up the fallen ice, which was unprofessional. Next, when the waiter came to take our order, I asked for the meunière cod, clearly describing it as per the menu (lightly floured and shallow-fried in butter). Instead of confirming the order, the waiter incorrectly interpreted this as a request for battered fish. He repeated the order back with visible confusion and uncertainty, further diminishing confidence in the service. The final straw came with the same waitress who spilled the water earlier. When serving the prawn cocktail starter, she dropped both the spoon and fork on my shoes which required a visit to the bathroom to clean which was both careless and frustrating. After enduring this series of poor service incidents, I spoke to the General Manager, expecting a resolution or at least an acknowledgment of the issues. Unfortunately, the GM failed to address the situation adequately. To add insult to injury, when the bill arrived, it included a service charge despite the unacceptable service. We had to request for it to be removed. While the food remains good, the service has deteriorated to an appalling standard. The lack of professionalism from the staff and the failure of the General Manager to resolve these issues have made this an incredibly disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

This is Hellfire & I'm brutally honest in my reviews. The food - absolutely everything was below Turkish standard of "good food" that I currently have (Gokyuzu still is, for me, the best Turkish food I tried in London, alongside service). Felt cheaply made (the lamb soup had barely any lamb in it for example) and tasted very "mechanical", not the home cooked taste you'd expect. The menu is made so you'd think you have a ton of choices when they're basically same main things with slightly details, just seems confusing, not pleasant to choose. Service - the waiter didn't give me and my business partner at the time privacy at all (always standing very close to our table) and when I told her she wasn't nice, she said her mother has cancer so her behaviour is excusable :). Like I cared, of course, I emphasise, but she is there for a job to do. If I will receive a polite apology from the owner for the service they provided and the quality of the food that day, I might just delete this review (not amend) and give them a second chance :). Ruthlessly, Hellfire.
