First time here.. Faultless. Also the first time I think I've ever said that at a new location and new meal. Lovely Xmas feel to the place.

Went to El Iberico for me and my friends birthday, the staff were so lovely and really made the evening special for us celebrating! The food was amazing we got lots of little tapas dishes between the five of us and it was a great selection and very tasty! The service was fab and I’d recommend the restaurant to others :)

Amazing food and excellent service! Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time here, everyone loved the food! They offer such a variety and everything was delicious! Save room for desert! Their own beer was yummy as well!

Authentic Spanish cuisine, family run with good service

First complete 5 star experience!! Well done indeed El Iberico!...Fantastic steak cooked perfectly....for steaks this place is better than Hawksmoor!...On par with Goodmans!...If you like a steak I sincerely recommend. Rest of the menu amazing as well....but equally as impressive and important was the hospitality atmosphere...The staff were so tuned in on delivering a very friendly and welcoming experience, always smiling and happy...the client comes first here...the owner was particularly attentive and visible accountable for everything...Best loos I have visited at a restaurant 😊..I had a very interesting and new for me Bocko pint which went down v well...And the rest of my party said the wine served was exquisite....If you want a best dining experience this is definitely the place..

Had a great night here catching up with an old friend. Atmosphere was great and food superb. Started with some tapas and then had the fillet steak… it was so good!

An excellent evening, superb food, atmosphere was just perfect, bringing some family visiting from Yorkshire to experience our favourite restaurant and have them enjoy the evening was a bonus.

Sadly our experience did not reflect that of many other diners. Frankly I haven’t got the energy to write a full review on what was wrong because it will not be acknowledged by the management. Just know that we will not be back. I wished we had dined two doors down at Hayat instead. In reply to the owners response... You should respect your paying customers. You can't take criticism constructively and you have proved me right. You're not even bothered to find out why I wasn't happy with my dining experience, but you're happy to take your customers money and you're calling me rude?!

Have amened review to reply to owners rude review as £31.90 for a jug of sangria is not cheap and I find that extremely patronising. We asked you to taste it numerous times as barely any alcohol in it and if it was not true why did you have to top it up - not with champagne either but prosecco? And no we did not get any Padron peppers, we thought it was replacement as we told waiter it did not come and some other dish came out and we got charged twice. Learn to read the reviews, we said the other staff were friendly but it was true a couple of the lads were inexperienced but still very pleasant, you should take a leaf out of their book. Looking at all the reviews we decided to book as fancied some nice tapas but to be honest it was average at best. It’s a lovely little restaurant itself and most staff are friendly (couple of young inexperienced lads more on that later) and we ordered selection of tapas, cocktails and champagne sangria. Didn’t taste any alcohol so politely explained this to the head waiter and he said they topped it up. Initially they said they literally poured whole bottle in but when we said was still tasting just of fruit they changed line to: we only put little in do you expect a whole bottle of champagne! We asked them to taste themselves and let us know but was not getting anywhere, it’s not cheap at £31.90 and was border line rude as we were very polite about it. Then to top things off we ordered padron peppers that didn’t come and we told one of the young lads who said was not on order and out came some breaded jalapeño so we thought were replacement as ran out and got home and saw they had charged us for both so basically ended up paying £11.90 extras for nothing. Our fault for not double checking 😒

Visited on a Thursday was surprised to see it was fairly busy. Great food great service and reasonably price. Get the patatas bravas and thank me later. Will be visiting again

The service was amazing. When we wanted to order, apart from our main dishes, we asked for them to suggest tapas, and they could bring loads, but they didn't overwhelmed us.It was a special occasion and we had a good time. Definitely I will suggest it but make sure to book your table early. We did a week before.

Such a lovely restaurant and food, staff so welcoming!

We were disappointed. They offer an extensive tapas menu which we were really excited about. However the food all felt like it had come out of a freezer and the sauces from a jar. It didn't feel like the authentic Spanish tapas experience that we were expecting after reading such promising reviews

Visited here as it was highly rated but I cannot comprehend why it is. The food, while edible, was basically just frozen food you could have cooked better at home and there was nothing 'authentic' about it. The service was fine but the food was just down right poor and over priced for what it was. Overall, very disappointing.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. As for the food, the tapas were nothing short of extraordinary - each dish bursting with authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Easily the best tapas I’ve ever had! Our favourite tapas! Me & my family have been coming here for 8 years. We always have the best experience! The food is the best authentic tapas, sangria is 10/10, and the staff as so friendly & accommodating. Service is always incredible! We always leave very happy and full! Couldn’t recommend enough!!

The restaurant is deceptively large inside. We sat outside. The staff are very friendly and the tapas was delicious. Recommend!!

Food was really good. Chorizo was nice and spicy! The pork was succulent and really tasty. The lamb shank came off the bone. Service was superb. Will definitely come back.

Delightful local restaurant which has been established for many years. Seving traditional tapas plus theres a main menu to choose from. Foods fresh, homemade and delicious. I personally recommend the lamb cutlets, paella and meatballs! Good dry white wine and draught larger. All reasonably priced. Only criticism is the food came up extremely quickly, within 5 mins. next time I would delay ordering to enjoy the evening out a little more. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Restaurant was very busy. Definitely recommend booking at weekends.

Been here years ago so revisited , four friends, slight disappointed , wine massively over expensive, house £22 and others £25 £27 plus. Food my starter not good others ok , one main had to go back , others ok . Atmosphere nice, decoration and staff nice , but probably wouldn’t go back ..

Being a family run business, the staff are always friendly and happy to help. The food is ALWAYS 10/10 and that is the case if you choose to eat in or have as take away. The new specials are delicious and I hope they stay on the menu.

We went as a family of 10 (mixture of ages) on a Sunday at lunch time. Food was delicious, service was great. Very friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend it & we’ll certainly be going again!!

Enjoyed a throughly delicious takeaway from El Iberico. Deliciously fresh, home-cooked food, good portions and fast, friendly service. I hope to visit in the future for a dine-in occasion! Would highly recommend.

We’ve eaten here a few times now and I’m glad we have. It’s a pleasant surprise to have a well priced and lovely little gem serving tapas just up the road, something which is in short supply round here! Compared to chain tapas restaurants, El Iberico is very well priced and does generous hearty portions. They have a good selection of drinks and the food is always tasty and far more authentic than some places. Staff are very attentive and look after their customers, and nothing seems too much trouble to them. Even when rushed off their feet, they take the time to look after their customers and aim for top service (which we have always had). The restaurant has a cosy, warm atmosphere and is a lovely little place to visit with friends or family. I’d definitely recommend a visit - it’s worth the price for a local small business.
