Really good food. Big compliments to the chefs. 💪🏼💪🏼

An impromptu drop in here for an early evening meal. A mix of Mediterranean dishes on offer all at reasonable prices. We had a mixed meat kofta and some cod. Both dishes were fine. The warm lemon tart with ice cream though was the best What was excellent was the friendly service. Very attentive and warm welcome. She seemed to be working very hard. Thank you.

Really good food! My husband got a steak and I got a salad nicoise. We both really enjoyed our meals. The chef freshly made my dressing and added lots of vegetables. Felt healthy and delicious. Our waiter was so attentive and kind. And all for very reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

The menu is cheap, but this obviously comes at the cost of the quality of the ingredients. The dishes are quite well prepared, but the ingredients are not fresh and not good quality. If it weren't for the very low prices setting my expectations, I'd have been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the environment is pleasant, but I wouldn't return for the food.

Visited Anzar for the second time tonight with the family and must say the food and service are outstanding, this place truly is a hidden gem in Bexleyheath and well worth a visit, (don’t book via app as it’s not working) give em a ring and book a table, you definitely won’t regret it.

What a delightful restaurant and a fantastic find. They had a set 3 course meal for £18. Absolutely cracking value and tasted delicious. Starter - Whitebait. Absolutely coated in delicious crumbs with various sizes of whitebait and few were like whales. lol. Main - Breton Fish Stew with sourdough bread. Again huge portion of mixed fish like squid, prawns, muscles and a big sea bream on the top of the stew. Very tasty and filling. Desert - Lemon Tart with Vanilla IceCream and a sauce. Again a lovely warm, moist lemon tart with the ice cream to wash down the meal. They also do deals on drinks before 5pm at bogof deals. Highly recommend this place to visit. The staff were all super friendly and helpful.

Organised a welcome home party for me and my wife, 20 PAX total, and I could not be happier. Team and service fantastic - very attentive, quick and flexible. Food really good - everyone enjoyed it, good portions and delicious. Atmosphere - we were quite loud but jolly, and this didn't seem to be a problem. Mixed thoughts - I enjoyed my food, but the experience was marred by very slow service and no ambience. We normally have three courses and coffee when we go to a restaurant for a meal. We didn't stay for the final course as it was taking so long to be served, and the restaurant appeared to have more empty tables than those that were fully occupied.

My favourite restaurant, tasty food ,good portions and very well priced ,wine is very competitive in price , happy hour £12 bottle of wine ,these prices make eating out easier on the pocket. Always have a lovely time in Anzar owners and staff are so lovely, definitely my go yo place and love recommending to others ❤️

Went to Anzac on Saturday for dinner. Weather very hot, but as we entered the restaurant, we were surprised and pleased they had air/con. The staff were very friendly and the food was absolutely delicious, will definitely go back again.

Tasty food and a good choice of drinks which lacks in some restraunts . I had the chicken and mushroom the chicken is a good portion but for the price it is fair enough , we spent 38 for 2 people inc drinks and 1 desert . Nice respectful young waiter which lacks in some restaurants it’s usually a waiter that takes her anger out on clients . This is a fabulous restaurant. The food was amazing and very tasty and honestly the best going out experience we have had in a long time. The waitress was very good, extermelly attentive. Anzar has a real family bistro feel. Not only this it is great value for money. We will definitely be coming back again.

What a lovely place! The food & service were excellent. I had the Breton fish stew & it was absolutely delicious - everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Our waitress was delightful & pre-empted our needs so well. Will definitely be going back!

Bluebottles and varying flies were around the restaraunt during the time we ate, took a long time for our food, and meat was still cold, however the chips were very nice. Me and my girlfriend were consistently harassed by the flies, especially when our food arrived. My orange lemonade was incredibly watered down, and the table was sticky, not good enough for the price payed.

What a lovely meal starters and main course, two bottles of wine for 4 people under 85 pounds , food was fresh with fresh ingredients, would probably spend more in Zizzi or pizza express ,without the the fresh home cooked taste, if you like fish u will really like this place, also do steaks and burgers and pizza , bexleyheaths best kept secret 100 percent worth a try ,can not believe the quality for the price, you will not go wrong with eating in this place!

First time at Anzar’s. What amazing food. So different from anything We have ever tasted. You know it’s good when you wake up still talking about it. The wine was so reasonable and good. Jo our waitress was friendly and so helpful with choices. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere and drink, you need to wait for good fresh food. The starters were quick, but I was informed my main as it was chicken would take longer, as cooked from fresh. All beautiful and with the wait. We cannot wait to go back.

Booked for my father’s 60th birthday meal, having never eaten here before we decided on a change for once! From start to finish the staff were so welcoming and friendly, I even dropped in a few decorations for the table before the meal which they were happy to look after. The food was absolutely amazing, hot and fresh, I had the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly! But everyone was more than happy, and with a great variety on the menu, as a couple in our party are vegan and one child. Nothing was too much to ask, and the Cocktails also were amazing. All very reasonably priced for the quality of the meals, and level of service and attentiveness is second to none. Honestly, 5 stars isn’t enough. Thank you to Jo and all the staff on that night for making our evening one of the best in a long time! We will definitely be returning soon!

Party of 8, The food was nice but very slow service by the time the last meal came out the first person had finished eating, sides did not arrive and when we asked they said sorry we ran out of potatoes and walked away :( then gave us a bowel of green veg. Staff are friendly and polite but did not asked if we wanted desert, so we asked for the menu again and they told us they had run out of pudding.

Great little restaurant, we walked past and thought we would take a chance. Freshest food and top quality ingredients used. The price was so reasonable, it’s going to be a little favourite of ours in the future! Fully recommend the chicken goujons starters. They was in some spicy kind of tempura batter, so tasty. And a good selection on the mains to suit any mood.

This was a meal with brother and sister in law for their anniversary and was the first occasion we had visited the Anzar Brasserie. My sister in law has a gluten intolerance though she had little difficulty in finding suitable items on the menu. We enjoyed every aspect of our meal. The starters were lovely as were the mains. My rib eye steak was juicy and cooked to my liking. My wife had a huge fillet of sea bass with ratatouille style vegetables. I particularly like the fact you can choose your sides. The waiting staff were friendly and repeatedly asked if we needed anything else. Very very happy with the quality of this meal and considering we had cocktails and three bottles of wine it was very good value.

I can’t understand why this restaurant wasn’t busier on a Sunday as the food and service was excellent. 3 courses for £16.50 in the currently climate is brilliant and it wasn’t compromised by quality or portion size. Service was great too. We will Definitely be back. Thank you.

Amazing restaurant! 😍I went there with my partner and the service and food was 10/10. The chefs & waiter constantly checked up on us and the cocktails were amazing. I would highly recommend and worth every penny! The photo didn’t do it justice due to my poor camera.

The best restaurant in the area by far. Food served piping hot and so fresh, as well as being absolutely delicious. It’s not a place for a quick bite to eat as there’s quite a gap between courses but if you want to kick back with friends and enjoy really good food it’s perfect. Accompanied by the excellent value for money that Anzar offers you really can’t go wrong.

Very disappointed after having good visits firstly service was slow took 20 minutes to get our first drinks and menu then took a while to order. Have to say starters were great then went down hill waited ages for food even though when we entered only 8 people in restaurant then my husband should have had rice but got chips we asked for some broccoli 🥦 didn't get any when asked where is was they said didn't have any no explanation for missing rice to top it off when my husband cut into his chicken it was raw inside.

Lovely restaurant, atmosphere very nice However, drinks were very messed up ie porn star martinis but no Prosecco!!! All was like a comedy of errors but the food was great It is hard for each establishment to get staff and they had staffing issues Really nice but seem to not know about drink items on menu and bill had to be changed twice, with no apology but as said, nice place and will go back Enjoy

This place is a gem! Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, attentive staff & good value. They let us order from the set menu even though it was after 5pm. Everyone really enjoyed their food. Fantastic flavours. I really love that it’s a family run independent business.

Welcoming and attentive. Great food and very well priced. Really like the atmosphere and the fact you can see the Chef's cooking the food. Would definitely return! My ONLY little suggestion would be to lower the music a little (and maybe change it from jazz to something more authentic) as it was quite hard to hear what people were saying.

For some unknown reason, I haven't left a review on this restaurant before now. We have visited this restaurant since it started and we have never had a bad meal. Food is varied, high quality and always delicious. Secondly the owners, 3 brothers led by Kareem with Rishiand MO are the friendliest and most helpful people you could wish to know. Staff were fantastic as was the food. We had a mixture of starters and was not disappointed. Choice of cocktails is good and was the one we had.

I have been to Anzar on 4 previous occasions and every time the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful, and i have recommeded Anzar to many others.....BUT on the latest visit I went on a Saturday night. Never again! I had booked a table, yet when we arrived all the tables were occupied and they had to bring tables from the outside and rearrange furniture in order to seat us. After 40 minutes we finally got to order, but then waited a further 50 minutes before any food arrived. Unfortunately, due to a poor description on the menu, the dish that arrived was unacceptable but straight away the chef offered to replace it with an alternative. This alternative arrived within 10 minutes (which begs the question 'why did it take 50 minutes the first time'?), and the food was, as always delicious. By this time, we were exhausted by the whole experience and decided to skip dessert. Basically, they need more staff and to be better organised. In future I think I will stick to lunch and week-night visits. Also, the evening was rather spoiled by the rowdy table of 8 people near us, who were then joined by a further 8 people, none of whom we saw order or eat any food in the whole 2 hours we were there. They just kept ordering drinks, which may be very lucrative for Anzar but I thought I was going to a restaurant not a bar!

Four of us had dinner here Saturday night. Staff were friendly and welcoming, food was great, really good quality and reasonably priced. There was quite a long wait between the starter and main, but the starters were quite large and it was nice to spend time chatting and not be rushed. When my friend’s main arrived with peppers, which he can’t eat, the chef came over and was very apologetic and went through some options and ensured it was all sorted out and my friend was very happy with the replacement. Great value, great atmosphere, would highly recommend this place.

We come here as often as we can afford and honestly the staff can not do enough to accommodate us. The food is delicious and alcohol is reasonably priced in comparison to other restaurants. If they make a mistake they put it right. Great with kids. Website isn’t the best regarding menu as sometimes it does change due to season but have shared with a photo.

Found this hidden gem purely by accident whilst working away. Firstly, the chef is literally cooking right there in the restaurant for all to see - a reassuring sight! I didn't have a huge meal as it was just a midweek dinner but the lamb was excellent. Even though the dish was quite basic - everything spoke quality to me, great chips, crisp fresh salad and tasty sauces, what more could I need or want? I work here regularly and will most certainly be back.
