The best restaurants in London

Fast and genuinely warm service. The chicken and lamb cubes were perfectly soft—yes, even the lamb, and we’re famously picky. No old sheep vibes here. The homemade sauces, courtesy of the mum whooshing around, added that perfect homely touch. Professional yet personal and at a fair price. We’ll be back.

5 years since my first review (below) and the food and service are still excellent. The prawn and venison starters were both unusual and really stood out. The lamb speciality dish had amazing subtle flavours and was cooked to perfection. Certainly a cut above the average 'Restaurant Formula' Bangladeshi eatery - wild boar vindaloo had both flavour and a kick not just numbing and bland

Proper old fashioned pub serving great Guinness and even better real ale. Everything a boozer should be. Always lively

The coffee espresso it is a real Italian coffee!!! I had a nice time with my Italian friend there. The croissants (cornetti) were so good. We also tried the homemade orange juice, delicious! I really recommend it!

I can only rate the service, but Tim has been instrumental in solving my challenges with the order & uber eats. Thank you for sorting the challenge!

11.30 am service is where I always feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. I always open my heart to God fill me a fresh.

¿Adónde has ido? ¡Una dinastía como esta no desaparece! Siempre el mejor Fish & Chips en kilómetros a la redonda. Es típico de todo que las cosas buenas están desapareciendo reemplazadas por opciones inferiores más baratas. Todo está empeorando, incluso Fish and Chips.

Absolutely love it. Grew up with great street tacos and visiting little taquerias and I can say this is the best I've hand in London so far. They keep it genuine and simple with meat, some onion, cilantro, and a wedge of lime. Highly recommend the carne asada, the ox tongue, and a michelada to finish it off!

This was my first time here while visiting a friend in London and I really enjoyed it. The space and atmosphere is bright and open, the food was yummy and the service was great, especially Jason who was very friendly and helpful. The chai latter is a must! Best one I have had!

Highly recommend The Woodman. Held our Mothers wake there March 2025. Cannot thank Louise and Cathy sufficiently, they went above and beyond to ensure food delicious and all dietary requests meet. Their kindness and attention to detail was so appreciated.

We had a delicious Turkish breakfast accompanied by dinner music. I was very pleased. We ordered a mixed breakfast. It was a very filling menu. The atmosphere of the place is spacious. Far from chaos.
