No experience to report on as on arrival, it seems to be closed permanently 😕

This Chinese is exceptionally good the food is to die for I can’t believe my luck to live near this Chinese there is no wheelchair access but they take your order and bring it to you at the door it’s take away only but believe me the food is worth it I recommend the chicken and mushrooms oh and the chicken chow mein omg I feel hungry I’m off to have a Chinese from here in minutes yummy

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for over a year now, and it never disappoints. Every visit is a consistently great experience, with both the food and service always exceeding expectations. The pizzas and pastas are generously portioned, and the ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. Each dish bursts with flavor, and it’s evident that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Best takeaway in town, fact! Friendly, well priced and always top quality. They also sponsor the local youth Rugby team, and sometimes supply the after match food!

A great meal at this eatery, very, very good food, the service from the staff was very good, the chef came out in person to ask if everything was to our liking, food so fresh and healthy, we could eat here every night.. kind and thoughtful people. Will defiantly return on our next visit.

Tried this pizza restaurant in Berkhamsted for the first time for Bank Holiday dinner at 7.30pm. The whole experience was very strange. Not really sure how a restaurant like this exists in Berkhamsted as it is completely different to all other restaurants in the area. They didn’t seem to have anything in stock. There was one guy running the place. He said he only had 2 orange drinks left so my kids had orange and I had to go for a Diet Coke even though thats not what I wanted!! . How can a restaurant not have any drinks? I ordered Piccante pizza which should have had chilli peppers and oregano, sausage and red peppers on it. It came with only sausages and red peppers on top. So he clearly did not have the ingredients in stock to put on the pizza. What a complete joke! So it was just lots of red peppers with a few slices of sausages with no flavour at all. See photo. 2 kids and 2 adults we had 4 pizzas and 4 soft drinks for £63 which for a place like this is a complete waste of money. It was cash only so they don’t accept cards yet he did not have enough cash for giving change back. The whole experience was just odd. Not sure if we were there on a bad day or if its always like that but we will most certainly not be returning. When you order a pizza you expect all the ingredients specified on the menu to be put on the pizza!!

Food is so fresh and amazing im 9rs old and i was going to get my lunch there so friendly 😃 I highly recommend

The lady who answers the phone has a very rude manner, as if I’m irritating her by ordering. I asked for the food to be well done and she reluctantly said okay. I get the peppercorn chicken wings and they’re slimey and not how I liked them. I called twice with the request to make sure they were well done, and felt sick after eating. Been coming for years but won’t be coming again. Disconnect between her and the chefs? Disappointed.

Cash only. Good way to lose what could be a reoccurring customer as this is our local. I’ll always pay cash when I have it but on the occasion I don’t, you should take card.

A brilliant place to go for fantastic coffee and superb sausage sandwiches. Lovely canal/riverside location. Super friendly place.

My ppl were cross with me when I told um I had ordered from here. We have always gone somewhere else, and it's been good, and none of um wanted to take the risk with somewhere new. It was a winner, though. The Welcome restaurant / takeaway probably tips it with quality, but that's Chinese fine dining and expensive. This place, though, impressed us. It's now our new regular chinese goto, definitely recommended.

We booked out the entire restaurant as a surprise for my Nans 70th and I’m so glad we chose Donatellos. Cherish has been really helpful from start to finish. She made planning the evening as stress free as possible. The whole team were amazing on the night, the food was piping hot and delicious. I just want to say thank you again to the team for helping to make our Nans 70th so special, she had the best night.
