Been driving past for 3 years and stopped to get a roll a few weeks ago. Been going back since. Today had a breakfast, delicious! Please try!

The blonde lady serving the food was so miserable maybe it was because she didn’t get any flowers on Valentine’s Day shame because the cheese on beans on toast was nice she even had a go at us looking at a newspaper and she said it was hers. Really nice old cafe just a shame that you’ve got somebody like that with a miserable attitude working at the front

we came here for breakfast while 2 of my childen were at music lessons, there was me my partner my 8yr old, 3yrold and baby. Anyone wbo knows my 3yr old knows he suffers with morning sickness but hed slept the whole time just before pulling up so thought we was all good. we went in i sat with 3yr old and baby while partner and 8yr old went to order. Out of the blue my 3yr old gagged and was a lil bit sick mum instinct grabbed him got him outside qnd took him to side of door where he was a bit more sick. 8yr old clocked what what was going on got tissue to clean the small bit inside. We then came ij and had our breakfast no problems, cant fault the food, but had noticed when we arrive the lady serving seemed to have the right hump (partner had said shes always the same). near the end of eating the woman very rudely said i should of took my kid in the road to be sick (the road is very busy i wouldnt want to go into myself to be sick) i dont know if she is thos unfriendly to all or weather she just dont like kids. very unwelcoming and will not be going back again. As someone who works in hospitality and food i know you do not treat customers in such manner

I’ve been popping in to Percy’s for over 30 years. The current owners/operators continue the tradition of perfectly cooked full English breakfasts for around £7. The cafe is spotlessly clean. Nicely decorated and there’s always a friendly welcome. There’s a good variety of dishes on offer but I always have the breakfast. Excellent quality ingredients, nicely cooked and always piping hot. Well done all and long may you continue to provide my favourite guilty pleasure.

One of my favourite cafes , the food is always cooked from fresh and served piping hot , no reheated sausages etc . Never had a bad meal in this cafe . I can honestly say they also do the best latte ever , tastes a lot better than any well known coffee house . The food as well as being very tasty is very reasonably priced . Highly recommend.

We were in Leigh and decided a late breakfast was in order So glad we went in here. Unbelievable value and very tasty. My daughters both ordered baguettes and they came out as long as my forearm and with 4 sausages for a very reasonable £3. My full breakfast was only £6.50 and very good. They did a range of other dishes but personally wouldn’t look past the breakfast!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a coffee before an appointment. The sausage sandwich was nice and in thick crusty bread. Some cafes you go in are so crammed with tables but this was lovely and spacious and you could actually get to the table without a squeeze or having to be extremely skinny. I will return when I have a bit longer to enjoy a lunch or dinner. Forgot to mention it also has a lovely seating area out the back.

Liver & bacon with a pile of veg. Carrot, cabbage, mashed swede, potatoes, onion gravy gluten free. Check the photos, enough for two and home cooked, hot and fresh. Mug of tea, second one free. All for £6. Outstanding value. A proper cafe, traditional standards and varied menu. Can't say enough about it.

Yes, it's frequented by builders and tradesmen but what a friendly place. I initially felt a bit intimidated by the tradesmen but was soon put at ease by the very friendly lady behind tge counter, the food is great, especially the cooked breakfast, excellent value for money...

Popped into the wrong cafe actually - was meant to go in Toasties next door as have had their coffee before but happy accident I guess. Ordered a Latte and Cappuccino which was quite acceptable. Cafe quarter full circa 9:15 a.m. - mainly tradesman, builders, decorators, etc judging from the attire. Free parking directly outside and some across the road too for up to an hour I think. Tables quite large and spacious as is the cafe - not all squashed in as some cafes can be!.

This is easily the best coffee in Leigh on sea! It’s a shame that only bad reviewers add comments. The staff are all lovely. It’s brilliant to have independent shops in Leigh and we should make the most of it. I find the owner perfectly fun and friendly along with the rest of the staff. They know their coffee and have a good range of fresh homemade salads. ☕️ ❤️

Visited Amarios yesterday for my sons 15th birthday. I let the lady know beforehand about his birthday and she set up a balloon display for him and also he received a cupcake with his name on the plate which he loved. Its a beautiful little place, the owner was so kind and welcoming, the afternoon tea was delicious and the fruit platter such a lovely extra. I will be brining my parents back for the tea as they would love it here. The owner also mentioned they do events and brunches etc and I can imagine it's a great place to spend some time with your girls. Would definitely recommend and thank you again for a great service 👍

We went to listen to a band there and on this particular evening it wasn't very busy probably because of the weather, but the band were very good and I could see an improvement from the last time that I'd been to the pub which was some time ago. Felt a lot cleaner and more friendly.

I was booked on a bakery course to make Macarons on 17th March 2024. The class was cancelled a couple of days before by the owner. I have repeatedly phoned and emailed requesting a refund but have not had a money back and no apology. Would never use again.
